Name: Rosalee

Personality: Rosa is a bubbly curious freshling. She loves to explore with her friends but tends to be a bit clumsy and slow.

Are you pairing up to do a joint rp Bee and Butterfly? No

Entry:Because it's kinda long:
Rosalee swung her legs back and forth kicking a blade of grass she could barely reach with her toes. She would look at the tree next to her "It's coming soon, my friend." She gave a soft pat to the trunk, letting her warm hand linger on the cool bark for a few moments perhaps trying to warm it up. It had been winter far too long for her taste, and from this tree, she could tell springs awakening approaching. It made her shiver with excitement. She could just imagine all of the fun things he could do. Closing her eyes she pictured a nice spring day.

The sun was shining and birds could be heard chirping, the dew was on the green soft grass below Rosa's feet. A breeze blew through the tree causing a rustle of newly formed leaves. She looked down to where the wildflowers began to grow just buds, getting on her knees she whispered "wake up my friends, wake up" as if responding to her the stems lengthened and bright yellow flowers opened to greet the sun. Rosa let out a happy sigh this was the perfect day, she closed her eyes and the picture changed.

It was a light rain, the kind of rain ripe for playing in the mud. "But I don't want to put the boots on" Rosa whined stomping her tiny feet in refusal. She knew if she wanted to go outside that she would have to put them on. After all, it was raining, she hastily agreed and ran outside jumping both feet first into a puddle. She began to chant stoping her foot in a big splash with every word. "Rain, rain, go away, come again another day." On the last word, she dove straight into a mud puddle laughing as the picture changed.

"Come on Rosa lets go" she felt a tug on her arm and opened one eye. She frowned seeing the gloom of winter and the sad tree before her. But quickly shook it off at the sight of her best friend. "We have to get to class" they whined pulling her arm harder. "Okay Okay!" She called going willingly with them. As the door closed behind her she took one look outside and for a moment it was spring and she was happy.

User Name (s): - Mynsed – [bee] && Porcelain Pinch [butterfly]

Name: Andrenidae [bee] && Magdalene [butterfly]

Personality:
Magdalene
When the flowers bloom; so does Magdalene. Her limbs start feeling loose; her eyes brighten as the skies clear up and joy fills her whole body. She loves spring. Her families livelihood depends upon the season. Their strawberries would not bud without the temperature gradually getting warmer and the skies delivering copious amounts of rain for growth.

Magdalene, usually quiet around strangers during the winter months, becomes increasingly chipper and talkative as the months warm. Especially to customers who happen upon the family farm. Her weird allergy to pollen doesn't stop her from having pride in her family and taking part in the business. She's the type to constantly try to take charge and help out. The sooner that she shows her worth, the sooner she'll be able to obtain her dream of having a flower farm. Although, she isn't one to admit that she's wrong even though she's quite the novice. In fact, she'll fight tooth and nail on any little factoids that comes out of her mouth--even if they are wrong.

Her stubbornness is inflected with a southern drawl that's hard to miss. She doesn't know how to talk any other way! Magdalene gets quite upset with people who snicker at her inability to say some words or tells her to repeat herself. In her opinion, her word is law. Anyone that says otherwise will get her shoulder and a few choice words. Pompous, maybe. But Magdalene knows what she's talkin' about.

During the winter months she prefers being cooped up with Andren. Mags is pretty sure that the younger freshling would wilt at a bee sting. So when her joints become stiff she plays indoors with her friend, making sure he gets plenty of rest. It's her goal in life to own a farm of her own with Andren by her side. The fey needs someone to take care of him. So when the opportunity to go to the academy was posed, she seized it. The sooner she got school out of the way, the sooner she could take care of Andren.

Andrenidae
Andrenidae is quite the crybaby as a freshling. And overly attached to his Mags. So, when she was ready to go to the Academy and he still had a year left before he could attend as well, he threw the biggest fit possible, wailing loudly as she was whisked away in her carriage.

When he’s by Mags side, however, he is quite the chippy thing. He absolutely loves flowers! And simply can’t resist touching every single one he can, regardless of his families chiding. He also likes holding Mags hand and helping her with her pollen allergies.

Andren is a bit careless with his flower, despite the lectures and teachings of how important it is. He’s quick to dart around, play in the dirt, and climb trees. He’s not very good at flying yet, either. All this added to his clumsiness has made him sick quite enough times to make his family worried about him being on his own.

Andren is also rather short, compared to his tall best friend. But doesn’t seem to mind the height difference. He’s easily joyful and his wings and antennas waver in clear indications of his mood.

Are you pairing up to do a joint rp Bee and Butterfly? Yes!

Entry:

Andren
Adrenidae was nervous. So super nervous. Gulping hard, he clung to the stuffed doll in his arms, staring at the milling freshlings. There were some a little older, some maybe his age. He didn’t know. He really didn’t care. Antennas vibrating nervously, he felt his eyes get teary. How was he supposed to find Mags in this big school?! It had to be bigger than his entire town!

”MAGGGSSSS,” he wailed finally, collapsing to the ground and clinging to the stuffed animal. It was once Mags but they had traded when she left. Now, he was weeping and howling her name, wanting her there at that exact moment. How was he ever supposed to find the dryad?!

Mags
Mags stared up at the sky. She had skipped class. The teacher had become so boring. And honestly, she didn't need math. There was no doubt in her mind that it was just a waste of her time. You didn't need math for farming. All you needed to do is know how to count! She knew how to do that. She couldn't waste the sunshine outside. It was too beautiful of a day to miss!

The sound of a familiar voice caught her ears, making her swivel around. "What in tarnation?" She could have sworn she left her buzzin' bee back at home. It had been a while, but the memory of their departure was still fresh on her mind. Something inside of her still had her getting up. Maybe it really was him.

Eyes widened as she approached where the sound was coming from. Sure enough, it was him. "What are you doin' here?" Her eyebrows knit together as she hollered, obviously concerned. He was usually too sick to be out and about. One of her hands went to her hips. "Are you visitin'?"

Andren
The holler had his sobbing hiccupping to a stop. Without even looking to the owner of the voice, he stumbled to his feet, wings weakly attempting to help, before barreling into the body of the other freshling, wincing only slightly at the press of his flower in between them. Still, his arms went around her and he dried his eyes on her. "I missed you, Mags!" he sniffled, rubbing his face once more into her shirt before pulling just his head back to stare up at the taller and older freshling.

"Mama said I could come to school now. So I thought I'd find you. Your mama told me you'd be happy to see me. Are ya happy, Mags?" he asked, head tilting. He was so happy to find her. Winter had been awful without her. Now that it was spring, his parents had decided it was the best time to send him, to get him adjusted to his new environment.

Realizing what season it was, he moved back and his hands went to grip hers, to help her with her sickness. His mama said that allergies weren't a sickness but still. It didn't make Mags feel good so it had to be a sickness. "Are you feeling bad, Mags?" he fretted, gripping her hands with both of his, stuffed animal on the ground for the moment.

Mags
She knew that the body was coming towards her. She just didn't expect him to fall into her. Mags gave an oomph as she took a step back, her arms instinctively wrapping around Andren. A short chuckle left her lips. "I missed you too my little bee but that doesn't mean I want you bumblin' aroun' here. It's not safe. You'll hurt yourself and then what am I supposed to do, hm? I have schoolwork to worry about." Obviously, she wasn't going to let him suffer alone. But Andren being here made things so complicated. Math was already difficult enough to pass. She scrunched her nose together as she felt a sneeze coming on. One thing was for sure, it really was Andren in her arms. Her allergies wouldn't be acting up otherwise.

His mama said he could come? Mags perked a brow, surprised. Honestly, she thought that he would never go to school. Too sickly, too fragile. It was a big bad world outside the farm. The dryad had had a few fights to prove it. "I am happy to see you," she softened, one of her hands lifting his chin. "But it's not safe here, Andren. Not for your health. There are more folk here than..than anything!" He had to understand how dangerous it was. There had to be some way that she could get into his simple brain.

He always was a worry wart. Thoughts momentarily derailed; Mags sniffed and gave him a cocked smile. "I'm as fine as can be." Spring might have had the flowers in bloom but...oddly enough, it wasn't as bad here. It was one of the few positive things about city life. Less trees. Although..she did miss seeing all the flowers and trees bloomin'. Just didn't care for the allergies that came with it. "Are you alright?" The urge to check on his flower was fierce but that was indecent in public. She was no cavewoman.

Andren
Andren was shaking his head before she even finished speaking. Not safe? It was safer with Mags than anywhere else. He pouted stubbornly as she lifted his chin, eyes welling up with tears. He didn't want to leave. "But you're here, Mags! I'll be fine! I got better about takin' care of myself, promise! Mama said I could come and so, I'm here!" he proclaimed, desperately looking up at her. She wouldn't make him go home, would she? Mama said that it was fine, although Mami and Mom had been skeptic. But Mags didn't need to know that.

"I'm alright! Can't I room with you? I wanna be with you, Mags. Pleaassee? I won't get in the way of your countin'," he swore, referring to the math. What else was there to math besides counting? Math was a funny word for something as simple as one, two, three.

Mags
"Now, now. Don't you go arguin' with me. It ain't gonna get you nowheres." Magdeline clicked her tongue and give him a firm stare. Darn those eyes! She could feel her own gaze slowly softening at the edges as she continued to try to stare him down. He really was too innocent and cute for this world. "I'm here but that doesn't make it safe, darlin'," she ruffled his hair affectionately. "Don't you go cryin' on me. I can see those tears in your eyes." His sobbing really was her breakdown. She sighed, shoulder's slumping. A breath of air escaped her lips as she talked underneath her breath, mainly to herself. "What am I going to do with you." His mama, although she might not like it, did have power over her own word. It wasn't like she could send him back. Even though she really wanted to.

And having a roommate that she liked was tempting. The one that she currently had wasn't fun, stuck to their notes and had no sense of adventure. It was boring. Andren....why, she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him. She couldn't take care of a farm by herself after all! Another sigh escaped her lips. "I guess you can room with me," she gave him a small smile before attempting to be stern again. "But you gotta stay healthy, alwright? I don't want to have to ship you off back to the farm because you got yourself sick."

Andren
His tears gathered even more so. She really was going to send him back! He wouldn't let her. He would cling and cry until she just had to let him stay.

He was preparing himself for quite the tantrum when she finally conceded. And even said they could share a room. His expression brighten, tears being wiped away with his sleeve. Oh, he would promise anything to stay! "I'll do it, I'll be healthy, okay?" he agreed excitedly, wings fluttering, antennas perked. "I'm so happy, Mags! We can be together again!" he cheered, practically bouncing, wings feebly trying to lift him up. It didn't matter that he couldn't fly. It didn't matter that there wasn't as much plants here or that there were too many people or that he would have to do homework. He was with Mags again and was even going to share a room with her! It would be like a sleepover, but every night! Grinning widely, he once again burrowed his face into her chest, hugging tightly, though mindful of his flower. He didn't want her to worry and send him away, after all.

Mags
Deities, he pulled on her heart strings so much. She couldn't help the wistful smirk that came upon her face. "Boy, you better be healthy." She jabbed a fat finger at his head, trying to stop the excitement from getting to her too much. She was to the responsible one, after all. She hummed in agreement, one of her arms wrapping around his shoulder. "We can but you're going to have to prove that you can stay healthy. I'm watchin' you." The hand that was on his shoulder lifted to ruffle his hair once again.

"Now, why don't we go check out my room, hm?" She didn't bother mentioning the class that she should be in right now. It was probably over...maybe. Didn't matter. Nothing mattered when it came to spending time with Andren.

User Name (s): Midnight Holographic

Name: Melody

Personality: Particular, Artistic, Impaitent, Excitable, Adventurous, Playful, Imaginative.

Are you pairing up to do a joint rp Bee and Butterfly? No

Entry: In case it's too long I'm spoilering it.

Melody huffed at the sight outside. The little Freshling curled herself into the reading nook which was indented into the wall where her window was fixed in her room. Normally pillows, stuffies, and a few select books lined the windowsill, but for winter they were placed away so they would not get ruined by condensation. This was just another good thing winter had taken away. The sight outside really was a sorry one indeed. Freezing rain plonked on the window pane and if one were to look beyond into the yard they would see a slop of slush and snow far too wet and cold to play in. Not that Melody wanted to play in the snow, but the fact that it wasn't an option bothered her. It couldn't be spring soon enough thought the Dryaid pulling her blanket further over her shoulders and shuttering into it.

This winter wasn't especially cold or dark, but it didn't need to be an especially dreadful one to make Melody feel as if it would never end. She had been cooped up inside all season and was itching to go outside and play, but she dare not even do so even in these transitional weeks between winter and spring despite what the calender might have said a few days a go. "First day of spring my butt." She mumbled into her blanket. When she had first heard it was going to be spring a week ago she had imagined the sun on the morning of the first day rising into the sky over the tree lining. That it would shine so brightly and with such warmth that all the snow and wetness would be evaporated away and with it the plants would suddenly bloom in their place. Butterflies and bees would line each flower and flutter about about signify the final changing of the seasons with their sudden new appearance. To put it plainly the day was a complete disappointment. Her expectations were crush when it had been just as cold and wet as any other day before it. That day she had learned the bitter truth about nature with a some explanation from her teacher. "Nature doesn't work that fast, it takes time for plants to grow, and for snow to melt, but with a little more paitents soon enough you'll get that spring you had been thinking of." Paitence was a hard lesson to learn.

Tired of the dank gloomy scene outside her bedroom window, and possibly getting too child from the draft wafting from the window, Melody kicked of the ledge and tottled towards her arts and crafts table. She pulled out a carefully selected piece of white paper as straight and flawless as she could find making sure the corners were not bent, and that the page had not been wrinkled. Satisfied Melody began working feverently on something she would far rather see when looking out her window pane. It had taken hours maybe eve afternoon, it was hard to tell when the light from outside was a constant dull gray, but the project had kept her intensely busy at her table. By the time she was finished Melody must have rubbed down at least three different crayons to their nubs, but the price was worth the cost and she was satisfied with her work.

Like assembling pieces of a puzzle Melody placed her drawings on the floor making sure each one of them were in their right place before taping the whole thing together into one large collage. She had seen her teachers at the academy do this once before, taping a whole bunch of pictures into one for a joint class assignment. Each student in her class was responsible for one piece of a larger picture and when everyone was done we put them together and made a huge mural that was hung outside the classroom for the whole school to see. What she was doing now wasn't quite as large, but big enough for her purposes. Carefully as to not rip her newly made poster from mishandling the Dryad with a bit of effort on her part and some tape climbed up onto the reading nooks ledge and taped the large drawing to the window frame's sides. Once the corners of the poster was secure to the window frame, and that no spot in-between threaten the integrity of the tapes hold onto the wood Melody slide down and took a step back to witness her handiwork.

Although the light peering through the window and the paper from outside was a greyish blue tint from the sky Melody was marveled at her own work. Looking from the bottom up the flowers gave way to bushes, then trees, to an open field of baby blue sky where bees and butterflies flew in harmony. As proud as she was with the details of the white and fluffy bunny like clouds she was prouder yet of the most prominent and eye-catching part of the picture. Taking up several pages was a large beating yellow sun that radiated over the entire scene and was she missed most about spring and she couldn't wait to feel that warm sunlight on her skin when it was finally like what was in her picture outside. Content with her work the Dryad smiled to herself before running downstairs to find her bumbling Fay friend to show them her artwork.

User Name (s): SSBrosB

Name: Blaine

Personality: Blaine seems to be prickly at first. He closes himself up so that others cannot come near him or his heart. He does not trust, one must earn his trust. He sometimes says hurtful things, though they are only meant to protect himself. When one does finally start to peel back the layers of his personality, they will see a bubbly little fey that wants to have fun and just be a little kid (for right now). If one does earn his trust, then he will be a faithful and loyal friend, 'buzzing' around them like a shield, using his 'stinging' words to protect those he cares about.

If you are a friend and are getting bullied? He'll be there for you confronting that bully and doing everything he can to stop it from continuing. Are you bored because no one wants to play with you? He'll do it!

He really doesn't like the rain as it gets his wings all wet and messy, and the winter months make him very irritable. He closes himself off from a lot of people then, but he will warn them that he really, REALLY doesn't like winter and cold weather, but he still likes them. They help him get through the winter into those lovely seasons called spring and summer! If he is feeling irritable, he will snap at those he isn't close to, but for those that are he will just seem to be more quiet than usual.

He's a hard fey to get to know, but if you can open him up in the right way, you'll have a friend for life.

Are you pairing up to do a joint rp Bee and Butterfly? No

Entry:
Blaine was annoyed. He was annoyed that he had to go to this academy and annoyed that he would have to go and interact more with others than he would usually like. He had tried all the arguments that he could think of to try to keep his parents from forcing him to go here. He was better off at home, there would be demons and elves there, no one would like him, he would get bullied, how was he supposed to eat correctly, there was no way he could get enough sunlight, all in vain. His parents were determined, and Blaine was forced to go.

But that didn't mean he had to be happy about it! Which is why his face showed clear signs of him not wanting to be there. His parents were talking to the one in charge of the dorm and getting all of the information they needed, while Blaine stood to the side, arms crossed, an unhappy look on his face, wishing the backpack that he had on currently was big enough for him to crawl in and possibly sneak out of the school.

He felt like he had enough with pouting and trying to send his parents subliminal messages to convince them against this through telepathy, and instead opted to go outside for a bit where it was nice and sunny.

Spring had finally arrived and if there was one thing that always made Blaine happy, feeling the suns rays all over and getting warm from all of it, much better than the cold and frigid air of winter and the blinding of ones eyes from fresh, white snow. That and being cold sucked! He had wandered out the side door, making sure to keep in his parents' sights, since he didn't want to make them panic about him missing, he slowly set down his backpack and made sure that all sides of him got some of the outside light, as much as the Twilight of below allowed. There was a lot of activity going on, since there were quite a few others out and about, also enjoying the nice weather after the crummy winter they had had.

Blain was sitting down, legs out in front, keeping balance with his hands, just looking over all of it, and wishing he was still back at home. He slowly moved his gaze over the area, when something caught his eye on the right, and he fully turned toward it. There it was, the playground on the school grounds, and unfortunately, Blaine had a weakness for playgrounds and bright colorful things, and couldn't help but be attracted to it. Before he knew what he was doing, he had already started walking over there, and only realized what he had done once he was touching the jungle gym.

If Blaine knew any curse words, he probably would have cursed himself and the academy for having something so enticing here! Darn them! This academy may just not be so bad after all if they had a playground! How dare they use this to entice him! Well, he just wouldn't have it!

He started to walk away, but kept looking back at the playground. He could feel himself farther, and farther away from it...

Soon enough he found himself back on it, and while he really wasn't playing with any of the other kids, the academy couldn't be that bad if they had a playground like this! Maybe this place was okay after all!

User Name (s): SSBrosB

Name: Maedra Redbud

Personality: Stiff-as-a-board during the winter. Maedra has an extremely hard time coping with the cold weather! However, when the weather and the ground finally start to warm up, you see a completely different Dryad! Playful and bouncing and wanting to play with everyone and everything! She just wants to be friends with everyone and believes that deep down, everyone is good! Why can't everyone just get along? But that doesn't matter, if she sees someone feeling down, it doesn't matter what race they are, she'll try her best to make them feel better!

She hardly ever becomes sad herself, as long as there is sunshine and warmth, she's happy! Though when it's cold and rainy, she does get a little sad at not being able to go outside as much as she would like. But if she can make friends outside, she can make friends inside, right?

Maedra easily trusts others, which can lead to her being taken advantage of. But as long as she feels like she's helping a friend, she'll be happy to do it! Unless it's going outside in the rain or snow, and then she will have to politely decline.

The rare times that she does become sad, it is quite enormous. There aren't any huge tantrums thrown, but when one sees that she's being quiet and not moving that much, they should know that something is up. However, she can get out of her funk quite easily as long as she has sunshine and friends and flowers around!

Are you pairing up to do a joint rp Bee and Butterfly? No

Entry:
Spring was finally, FINALLY, FINALLY here! Somehow, Maedra couldn't quite shout it out loud enough to be satisfied, though her teachers told her she needed to take the screaming outside, instead of doing it in the classroom, her face planted firmly against the window as she tried to phase through it to get outside instead of using the door like a normal person would. Or a dryad who couldn't phase through walls could. Either way, she practically had to be dragged out of the classroom since she had apparently forgotten that doors existed, and when she was finally outside she had run around screaming like crazy.

Sure, it was still early spring, which meant some more cold weather, but at this point it was more cold rain than snow. Something she much more preferred compared to the harsh and unrelenting cold that practically made her shut down in winter.

In winter it had been harder for her teachers to keep her in the classroom, as she either tried to escape to the on-campus greenhouse or threw a tantrum when she couldn't take over the heater. She even tried to argue with her teachers that they should turn the heat up! They had to stop her when they told her it wasn't up to them it was up to the headmaster and she had turned her feet and started stomping toward it.

So, the fact that it was now spring was a huge relief to any of the teachers that had her as a student. But the one who was the happiest was of course, Maedra. And she used her lungs and all of her little freshling energy to make the most out of it! And luckily today, it was not cloudy and warm! Or at least it was nice as it could be out when there was only Twilight. It was something that was hard to find since wind chill still existed for now.

She had immediately run a few circles around the playground, before taking a nice tumble in the grass. Her next goal was to have her friends enjoy the nice weather as much as possible, and she managed to round up half the freshlings for a round of freeze tag. Freeze tag usually involving a lot of physical activity however, managed to use up half of the time they had for recess, and most of the other freshling that had joined were now quite tuckered out. Maedra wasn't though. This was just the beginning!

She then managed to wrangle up some others to play a game on the jungle gym, and then take turns sliding. When she was waiting for her turn at one point, some of her other friends had managed to find a patch of dandelions in the clearly-not-weeded-yet grass of the academy, and for a while they had fun making some flower crowns/tiaras and bracelets. Dandelions were such a nice yellow color!

Unfortunately, the time to be outside was soon up, and they were all forced to go inside, though the teacher had to literally drag Maedra back in, as she got more energy from outside rather than losing any it seemed! She looked sadly at the playground and grass and trees and weeds that she had to take a break from playing on, with, and in as she was carried through the door. I'll be outside soon again, I promise. She thought to herself as the door closed behind, blocking her from the outside once again, and leaving her to only look out through the classroom window, which the teacher had to tell her to stop doing several times.
