Haikyo is the unfortunate remains of Land of Wind Population, a secluded Town who's only means of defense being the harsh environment that surrounds it and the stone walls that surrounds and encases the interior of the Town. Creatures of the Desert can be seen roaming the area's, the birds that have grown and evolved to live in this location, the insects that terrorize and feast on the unfortunate. This land, even outside of the Corruption can be a dangerous one to live in. Welcome to Haikyo.

Ieyasu Tsunayoshi - 徳川 家康 - Dog of the Burning Sand

Ieyasu arrived at the entrance to the Haikyu village, when a man approached him in a tailored suit, with a letter. Giving Ieyasu a wink, he walked away from the gate, giving a passing wave. Ieyasu opened the sealed envelope, reading the content. Sighing, he placed the letter in his inner suit pocket and turned to the rest of the group. "Well, I would give you a tour. but I've just now revived word from my father stating our headquarters has been attacked. There were no casualties, but, unfortunately, until they get things back in working order...." Ieyasu smiled. "No outsiders allowed." "So instead, how about we venture into the wilderness to see each others abilities? We might find some materials to build our own base of operations." Building their own base, close to office Tsunayoshi Headquarters, would be good for them. "What do you say?"

⋙xx Kyoki had left the marketplace not too long ago and was reviewing the mission details one last time. He was going solo this time and so his odds of success were higher in his calculations of not having to deal with another person getting in the way. The boy stopped at the gate and went over the gear he had brought along for the assignment.

He had brought a large duffel bag to carry as much research as he could fit inside. It was also the biggest backpack he owned and couldn't afford another that could carry more like a suitcase or luggage. He took also a blank notebook and writing utensil with to jot down and copy the research into his own personal log. With these objects with him, Kyoki disembarked from the safety of the village to the cabin out in the wilds.

Sunlight beamed through once the bag was opened, Chimeric Creature that resided within immediately woke up from the shimmering light. Chimeric Creature crawled around swiftly as the boy's hand reached into the bag, crawling itself towards the edge and avoiding detection from the larger and bigger predator. The books taken were of different valuable information, research documents at best. The first book was clearly of Medical Genre, Anatomy information and detail description of various Drugs and Medicines, the interior of the book was littered with different notes filled with detailed drawings of the human body and what seems to be Corruption Creatures.

Bold writing started to fill the page, writing marked in black and red, questions relating to the concept of integrating the biological function of Human and Corruption, was such a thing possible? Mixing DNA between Human and Demon, what benefits would that bring, should I do it, can I do it, I should do it, I have to do it, this could save her, this needs to save her. The words continued on and on, switching between red and black, seeming to persuade themselves to follow through with the process before stopping at a single word: CRISPR.

The remaining books were of similar things, various Medical Books with others involving in-depth research of Medical Ninjutsu and what seemed to have been information of Medical Kinjutsu, more writing could be seen scribbled throughout the books but not directly over the text. The last bit of gathered good was indeed the scroll, yet to ones misfortunate such a thing was scrambled, coded information with text unreadable but overlaid by a Sealing Formula imprinted over the words themselves, the seal pulsated with a faint red glow.

Regardless of how the boy responded to the sights shown, the Chimeric Creature sought to peek out from the opened bag as it gazed at its surrounding. The land was vastly different from where it had previously come from and stayed at, a strange new world had appeared in front of it with different stimuli's present and naturally... Curiosity consumed it. The Creature rapidly attempted to flee the bag and make its way deep into Haikyo, utilizing its small figure to move under structures and into whatever holes and building entrances that was within range.

Chimeric Creature rapidly moved through the streets of Haikyo, the boy behind didn't help calm it down as a clear visible threat was coming for it and instincts quickly flooded in like a waterfall. The Creature had an easier time navigating the streets and even better time at finding a spot to hide and maneuver around in comparison to someone much taller, Creature swept around the legs of people in the streets causing a slight increase in panic and hopefully causing people to move into Kyoki's path as a result of the Creature's presence. Had this worked then the Creature would continue to make its way into the nearest building, leaping towards the building wall as it made its way towards the side of the building as it began to scale it rapidly.

Creature glanced at the two corporeal that started scaling up the wall it occupied, a small hiss left it before it started moving once more, its pursuer was becoming more persistent than it thought necessary and its instincts continuously kicked off as it continued its movement once more and this time with far more aggression behind it, rushing towards one of the clones that followed after and attempting to leap onto its face. Using its arachnid limbs to grip at the face and gnawing at it with its Rat head. With yielded success, the Chimeric Creature would quickly rush towards the open window a couple of meters from where it had dealt with the fake.

Once inside, the Chimeric Creature would swiftly navigate within the room of the building it had invaded. The interior was that of a dimly lit storage room for paintings, various framed painting was scattered around and hanged up on the walls, chairs and desk were covered in a white blanket. The room itself wasn't all that big, roughly the same size as an average bedroom. The Creature itself took shelter under one of the four blanketed desk, hanging under and waiting out the time.

Ieyasu arrived at the entrance to Haikyu Village, expecting to see the woman who started this mission.They were as ready as they were going to be, and they were on the same page,as far as he knew. He had talked about strategies for battle with both Mitsunari and Clementia, and even got them to agree. Maki could be here, for all they know, but, Ieyasu couldn't see her yet. And that was fine. Everyone here can wait. Hands in his pockets, Ieyasu closed his eyes, relaxing his mind while he had the chance.

He was spoiling for a fight, as he could almost feel that it was coming with this mission. Much like a sixth sense, he could feel his own sense of battle, the beast, the blood rising from behind the eyes. He was ready for almost anything in this mindset. He would keep Ieyasu stratagems in mind, but, if there was any indication that he did not need them, he would discard them quickly and swiftly. The woman named Maki did not seem to be here, but, that was fine. He could wait. Mitsunari began to pace back and forth, as sand blew in ever-increasing spirals around him.

She knew she was dealing with kids, with the exception of one, but she didn't think they were that brainless to be unable to follow even the most simple of direction, neither of them had remotely brought equipment for this mission and were dressed in the same fashion that they had previously met in. Maki sighed heavily as she walked towards the group from behind, her companion following next to her was Quinx and unlike the others, she carried 2 large black duffle-bag, five in general. Maki had her own assumption, she knew she was dealing with kids but didn't entirely think that she'll need to bring the required essential for a mission. Quinx and herself had only brought things such as food and medical supply, the others had none in their department which in turn simply made things a tad more difficult.


"It's shameful that mannerism is the only quality currently in your favor, Ieyasu."


Maki spoke out as she approached from the back with Quinx by her side, the companion eyed the group silently as she gently placed the duffle-bags besides her. The sound of the objects within escaped with a faint noise, boxes bouncing about and the likes, though nothing seemed to have suffered damage from the small drop. Allowing the others their own opportunity to speak and Quinx remaining silent if any words were brought towards herself, Maki immediately would dismiss them as she immediately removed a map and displayed it for the three of them to see.

The map itself didn't display the entirety of Haikyo, but it did display the route they would take along with various spots that were labeled. The more one would observe the map the easier it would be to realized her words from the Hospital, they were truly going to traverse the Land of the Corrupted, a march that easily stretched out for Kilometers to reach their first labeled destination. 25 Kilometers to their first destination was labeled Southeast from their current location, from there on it was a 45 Kilometer march to the next destination East from the previous location and the last destination was a full 100 Kilometer march South from the previous spot; a grand 170 Kilometer march.


"I hope the clothes on your backs and the meals you've had today will last this journey, what I have brought is unfortunately only meant for the two. It seems that the land shall be your marketplace for an edible meal."


Maki's eyes drifted towards Ieyasu, the one who had brought the other two as companions and presumably the one leading this small.... Deaf-Group, the responsibility was likely his own to handle, Maki alone knew well enough that the meals that Quinx has brought wouldn't be enough to handle the rest, let alone the First Aid tools wasn't as much as well. Regardless, a life-lesson is but one amongst thousand. Once Quinx had picked up the Duffle-Bags once more, her along with Maki made their way towards Haikyo's Exit/Entrance, heading Southwest to the first Checkpoint.
