Adamantines encounters with white moon senshi seemed to be at a high this week. Perhaps it was because spring was awakening, and with it came higher temperatures, easier ways to patrol.
People out that needed protecting. The corrupt sighed, people, she thought who were quick and easy to drain, though she no longer needed to fill a quota for starseeds.
She started earlier in the evening, draining homeless first, before moving to night goers. Drunks. Drug dealers. Energy orbs after energy orbs. They collected in her sub space.

Juniper didn’t really…do this whole senshi thing anymore. She had too much going on in her life, too much happiness going on to waste her time going out and possibly getting herself killed.
It wasn’t something that she had even really thought about lately, not with everything being nothing more than sunshine and rainbows and laughter and happiness…there would always be the war…but there was no such war in her household…so what was the point of bothering to think about it?
Tonight though. Tonight something had made her take the pen before going to the store. She hadn’t bothered even looking at the shining henshin pen in the past few…years, if she were honest. And those few times she had seen incidents going on…or the remains of trouble…she turned a blind eye and did nothing more than quicken her steps…but tonight…
Tonight she had the pen.
And tonight when she saw the slumped over bodies of a few homeless people, her pulse quickened and her hand wrapped around the object in her pocket. Juniper was trying to talk herself out of it. There was no reason to engage…no reason to get involved. It wasn’t as though she could do anything to help them anyway, right? There was no way to fix this…and they were breathing, she could see that…
They could sleep it off.
They slept worse things off, she was sure of it.
When she heard a loud laugh, she stiffened, her eyes going towards a nearby alley, and a group of drunks watching as one of their number fell, laughing at the stupid way they ended up sprawled on the ground. Juniper watched as another member of the group joined the first on the ground, and then another. The last girl’s laughter had gone quiet and she mentioned one of her companion’s names before swaying on her own feet and landing atop her friends.
It was one thing to see the after effects of something like this…and another thing entirely to watch it happening.
Before she had time to think about what she was doing, Juniper had used the pen and when she was clad once again in the guise of Tortali, she jumped onto the rooftop, making a bee-line to the chaotic aura that she felt, and when she arrived, pulling back her hand and trying to punch the back of the pretty head. “Give back that energy or I swear to God, I will destroy you.”
…It was a bluff, she was utterly out of practice…but…
Perhaps she would come out more often. She had forgotten just how good it felt to be Tortali. She was strong. Fast. Powerful.
And right now…pissed off.

She let one ball of energy fall into subspace, as the aura flared to life in her radar and no sooner had she barely dodged the bunch. The senshi had caught her by surprise and it made the corrupt narrow her eyes.
"Why?" The question was simple, but she didn't expect an answer as she dived at the girl, bring her hand up to pierce at pressure points, like she had been taught.
"They aren't going to miss it." Her face was monotone, as much as her tone was. As if stealing their energy wasn't the worst thing in the world. It really wasn't though.
"They'll sleep it off and blame the alcohol. If you don't interrupt, maybe I will save some people when I drain or steal the starseeds of the drug dealers just down the way.
