Well, after thinking about it. Seeing as how my chances of catching fish in Durem and gambino is slim, and I mean SLIM! I think I'll just stick to Bass'ken, permanently. Why? This'll be a good thing for me, a good hobby, aye. I want to get into the Top 10 in Bass'ken, and I'm sure Storm himself may have, or will be trying to get a Trophy, and a spot in the Top 10 as well, but probably in another lake. =D So, meanwhile, I'll try my best to be IN the Top 10 Fishermens on Bass'ken. AYE! That, is my dream! Wish me luck! ^w^ heart blaugh

PS - I'm thinking about upgrading my Performance Rod to a Performance Rod PLUS as well, I like it. I'm going to try to get the rarest fish on Bass'ken, and if I'm right, there's 3 of them. One of them being a Mutha Guppa. I'm going to get 100 of each of those fish, skin them, and make a fish helmet out of it to show the people that I can do it. I don't know how much I have to fish, but someday, I WILL GET A MUTHA GUPPA HELM! >w<; whee

I remember when I upgraded my Performance Rod; it has made quite a difference in how well I can catch fish, even with a less than adequate mouse...

If you don't have a plus rod of course it'll be harder in DUrem or Gambino. Once you upgrade though it'll be a breeze. 3nodding

actually to get the motha guppa helm you only need 10 fish, not 100... ^^;
They are extreamly rare, it only just consider how lucky. Just like the chest, blue giftbox, and pink gift box..

That'll be easy... right? ._.; All I need to do is keep trading in.. fishes. >.>; whee There is a 1/5000 chance of getting one if you have A Bait so the chances are slim. In over 1000 buckets I have only been able to catch one rare which is a diamondback and that was a toughy. It will take you probably years to catch all 10 by yourself which is why a lot of people are buying them. Even the most experience top fisher don't come close to catching 10 in their lifetime of fishing and they have fished probably well over 10000 buckets. Not easy at all. Hey good luck in Bassken and I take it your going for April? Man if your serious about competing you better be willing to dish out some serious cash and I mean like 50k+. It took me 25k in Durem and thats because I sold the fish back to buy more bait. Also in the durem the fish you catch are worth more so you can sell for more money. In bassken on the other hand you will need about 50k or more because you will lose a whole lot more money if you fish with A Bait. The fish there have a average sell back of 3 for guppy 8 for bass and 13 for stripers. You will lose on average about 150 gold per bucket as opposed to 50 gold in durem and this is numbers for filtering. Meaning not catching trash and only catch fish. When I started I miscalculated how money I needed and along the way I ended up having to sell a couple items for gold so you might have to do something like that if you are short. Since you have 5 days before the competition start think about how you want to go about this. Stock up on baits to save you time. Decide whether you will want to speed fish or filter. It is a question of quantity or quality and each fisher has their preferences. If you are short of time you might want to speed fish but if time is not a factor then filter for more points. If your short on gold you might want to stick with D-Bait if not then go for A-Bait for better fish. There are so many things I can tell you to better prepare you for this but I don't want to say something you already know. If you really want an extensive guide then just ask and I'll give you everything you need to know 3nodding

You're letting me in a few things that I definitely, and without a doubt, wouldn't have known, until you told me. There's this one chick in my friendslist that was in the top 25, or was it .. 30 for Overal Rankings, she got the Rank #21. = Her name's porcelain lux or something, she's poor as hell on Gaia, yet from PMing her, it seems that she fishes only to sell the fish on the Marketplace. @w@; So, I guess in a way, a person CAN fish even without having loads of Gold at their own expense/dispense. @w@; Idk, I guess I'll just see how it goes. I hope I don't waste all of my Gold fishing for nothing. -w-;
