Ahremanes
Story: Ahremanes one lived on remote plains in a distant land, a member of a unique breed of horse too proud and wild to countenance riders. But, as with the rest of her kind, she was bound to the service of the elders of a shadowy Council through dark rituals too horrific to mention, and forced to do the bidding of a depraved warlocks master. She retains her majestic and imposing form, but the rituals caused her to become infused and twisted with infernal energies, treading eternal flames and breathing fire. Her eyes once shone with exuberance and a zest for life, but now they only burn with hatred for the shadow masters who corrupted her, and anguish at the passing of the free life she once knew.
After many years of constant servitude, Ahremanes' master grew weary of his demonically-fuelled immortality, eventually growing so tired of all he saw, that he fell into an indefinately long sleep, freeing Ahremanes from his eternal summoning. With this long-lost freedom returned to her, she wandered the earth and Nether Planes alone, looking for her kind, as they once were. To her sadness, she discovered that the shadow masters had captured all of them they could find, and turned them into creatures as twisted as herself. Having lost all hope of ever finding the peace she once knew, she disovered the East of Eden, a place where there were no shadowy demons, no-one to control her, or enslave her. She decided to stay there, although she didn't feel completly safe, she felt safer there than she had anywhere else.
Although she wanders freely on the plains and fields of the East of Eden, she remains bound to her master, as the demonic marking on her chest enforces, and, should he ever awaken, she would once more be forced to do his bidding.
