◆Aʀᴍᴏʀ: Blessed Bracers and Dragonscale boots. The Blessed Bracers can protect her from Celestious magic: up to an A class mage attack. It wards off certain blows and reflects energy, but they do have a limit and are strongest in daylight hours. The Dragonscale boots were crafted by elves in Dryadalis, a gift she was given when she turned eighteen years old. The Dragonscale boots are impervious to elemental attacks and most blades, however are weak against Dragon Slayer Magic.
◆Eǫᴜɪᴘᴍᴇɴᴛ: Akujin Mask Unbeknownst to her, when the mask was carved it was made out of a piece of wood broken off of a tree in Akujin. It actually amplifies her Fire Demon magic and makes it harder for her to control.

BASIC SPELLS »Water-make: Dagger Novu's go to spell creates her infamous dagger, which she has trained for years to fight with and can do so with great ability. She prefers close combat over long range, and doesn't like enemies that have magic with area effects.
»Water Slicer Using her water lacryma, Novu can attack opponents with a beam or scythe-like blade of water. If she is only using her lacryma she can easily cause damage blunt-force damage, but if there is a secondary body of water around she can draw on, she can cut limbs clean off.
»Water Make: Projectile Slicer The difference between Water Slicer and Water Make: Projectile Slicer is the shape of the attack. While Water Slicer is an attack that explodes outward with sheer force, Water Make: Projectile Slicer can be used to make projectiles and objects that can be held and thrown, such as kunai, lances, water bombs, and anything else she envisions.
»Water Shield Novu uses water to create a solid wall to ward off attacks; the more water at her disposal, the bigger the shield can be. She can also change the shape of her shield to be a sphere (around herself or others), a box, etc.
»Frozen Passage Novu uses water to create solid shapes, and freezes them rapidly so they can support weight. She uses this spell to create long hallways of ice, to create ice platforms to walk on, or to create blocks of ice to hold things closed or whatever else comes to mind. The flaw to this spell is that her lacryma can only supply so much energy and her attacks grow in size and power with a secondary source of water.
ADVANCED SPELLS »Second Wind Novu creates a sphere of water around a person but hollows it out so there is oxygen to breathe. She can change the size of the bubble. When she becomes more advanced, Second Wind can allow for oxygen exchange through the water membrane so the user has an unlimited supply of air.
»Elemental Body Novu can change her body into water form. In the beginning, changing only parts of the body is easiest. For the most part this allows physical and magical attacks to pass through her; however, it leaves her susceptible to being frozen, poisoned, or to having chemical reactions with certain molecules.
»Phase Shift This attack requires a secondary body of water. She can control large amounts of water and change it through it's various phases of gas, liquid, and solid however she wants. The more she masters this attack, the faster she can phase shift. An example of a Phase Shift attack could be a large spinning vortex of water that swallows someone up- at which point she freezes it to trap them inside.
»Ocean Explosion Novu fills a sphere of water up with projectiles and launches it at her opponents. When it hits a solid surface it explodes, whipping projectiles in all directions at high velocity, causing both blunt force damage and cutting damage.
»Tsunami This attack requires an unlimited (or at least gigantic) body of water to draw from. This is Novu's biggest attack and depletes the most amount of energy. Novu can draw the body of water into a gigantic wave that towers over the battlefield, and then drop it. It is a huge area of effect attack, but it also hits allies.

BASIC SPELLS »Fire Blast An explosive fire attack that usually originates from her hands. When her emotions are amped up (rage specifically) the fire attack will usually come from her chest and is much more powerful. The fire blast works much like a shotgun and is more deadly at close range.
»Flaming Punch/Kick For this attack, Novu draws her energy to a limb and unleashes it with great force.
»Smoking Gun An impressive attack where Novu concentrates her fire attack into "bullets" or projectiles. They are highly pressurized spheres of fire that spin at high speeds, simply a manipulation of fire's form. When she first realized she could do this, she turned her hands into 'guns' and found it much easier to aim with. Now she can shoot with one or both hands depending on how much power/accuracy she wants.
»Fire Demon's Claw When Novu uses this spell her hands turn into demon claws covered in fire; they're actually made of fire, too, and when the spell deactivates her hands turn back to normal. The fire can slice through many types of objects and will melt things if held above or near them.
ADVANCED SPELLS »Fire Demon Mode In this mode, Novu grows black horns with small bulbs of fire floating above the tips. Her feet become claws and scales cover her shoulders and parts of her hips and calves. It is not a full transformation and it is actually a form of Takeover magic. It gives her a big boost when using fire magic but makes her more susceptible to Devil Slayer magic and Celestious magic.
»Fire Demon's Hellblade Novu makes a spear appear that is black with a white aura/glow. It is a few feet taller than her but light to use. If a human touches her spear their soul becomes cursed and they slowly fall into evil ways. If a mage touches her spear the effects change depending on their own magic and skills: for example, a mage using dark magic or takeover magic will experience excruciating pain that seems to boil the blood in their veins and whisper evil things in their mind. A mage using cosmic or celestial magic will feel a temporary disconnection from their magic that becomes stronger the more times she hits them. A mage using elemental magic will become susceptible to their own magic and can hurt themselves.
»Fire Demon Mode: Hell's Archer While in Fire Demon Mode, Novu makes a bow out of ice and can shoot flaming projectiles at her enemies. Conversely, she can also make the bow out of fire and shoot ice projectiles at her enemies. With the use of the bow, flaming projectiles can create craters whereever they hit, and ice projectiles can explode on impact, sending many piercing shards flying in all directions.
◎◎ Ultimate Magic Attacks ◎◎
»Ocean of the Underworld Can only be accessed in Fire Demon Mode. This attack takes an immense amount of strength and is an area attack; Novu will flood an area of opponents and superheat the water, boiling her combatants alive.
»Fire Demon's Rage This spell draws a lot of energy from Novu and could kill her if the rage lasts long enough. She goes into a berserker frenzy and does not feel fear or pain. For every minute she fights in Fire Demon's Rage she becomes stronger. Her limit based on strength and energy would be around ten minutes before she forfeits her life to the magic.

»Enhanced Strength Though not immense strength, she has heightened strength compared to a normal person.
»Enhanced Resilience Mostly due to her own willpower, Novu can take critical hits and stay on her feet. She is weaker emotionally than she is physically, and can sometimes be intimidated or criticized into defeat.
Diary Excerpt 1 - Age 6 - Dryadalis Momma says we have to leave Dryadalis now. Daddy is coming back, and Momma doesn't want him to see us anymore. She says he's not very nice sometimes, because he's a demon. She says it's in his jeans I guess. Maybe he needs new jeans. I miss Daddy. I don't want to go to Ormeadow because teacher Pallura says it's colder and less fun and I don't want that. Momma says it's going to be a journey and we will have fun on an adventure together. I want to stay here and learn elf magic with Keven and Mayain.
Diary Excerpt 2 - Age 8 - Ormeadow Ormeadow isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. When we moved here our neighbors were something called 'Storm Chasers'. They always knew when the big storms were coming, and they taught us how to read the weather. I'm taller and bigger now and Mom says she's going to teach me magic now. She's going to teach me how to control the rain and the water.
Diary Excerpt 3 - Age 9 - Ormeadow I like this place now. Mom's been teaching me more magic, she says it's part of my Elven roots and that controlling water and rain has been a part of me since I was a baby, because of my Dad. He was a demon who controlled water or something, but she doesn't like to talk about him much. I miss him sometimes. I made some new friends and they're nice- Tamwell, Katalina, and Xothys. Xothys is an Elf, too. I like him the best.
Diary Excerpt 4 - Age 11 - Ormeadow We built a new house together, me and Mom and Xothys. Xothys doesn't have any parents so Mom said he can live with us. He can also control water like me and Mom has been training us every week. People in Ormeadow love magic, especially water magic. Dryadalis had more power and energy in the earth and Mom said if we trained there we would get stronger twice as fast. Then she said there's no point dwelling on the past when we had a future to create. Tamwell says you can't create your future, that it's already written. I told him he's wrong.
Diary Excerpt 5 - Age 13 - Ormeadow Mom told me that Dad wasn't actually a Water Demon. He was a Fire Demon, and that's why she's teaching me to control Water, because she doesn't want me to become like him. It's not like I can control fire anyways, I don't know why she'd worry. I asked Mom how she fell in love with a demon if she was from a higher-class Elven family. She told me she had a dark past but she wouldn't tell me more. Xothys says his parents died when he was ten, and he is okay with their death because they're at peace. He's fifteen now.
Diary Excerpt 6 - Age 14 - Ormeadow Tamwell and Katalina are moving to Praeclarus, without their parents. They're so brave! Tamwell is sixteen and Katalina is seventeen. I would never want to go anywhere without my Mom, I would probably die... Their parents said they'll join them in Praeclarus in a year. How do you live without your Mom or Dad for a whole year? I miss Dad. I hope I get to see him again soon.
Diary Excerpt 7 - Age 16 - Ormeadow Mom said I'm getting older and she can tell me more things now. She told me that when I was born, Dad went on a rampage and wanted to destroy me. She said he was angry at her for getting pregnant because he didn't want a child that was like him, because Dad didn't like himself very much. Why would Dad want to destroy me just because I'm part Fire Demon? Shouldn't that make him love me even more? Mom says he does love me but he's at war with himself and I should understand that sometimes even adults get scared and sad. I hope Dad isn't scared and sad all by himself. I hope he has someone around who cares.
Diary Excerpt 8 - Age 17 - Ormeadow Xothys says he's going to a distant land to join a Guild. I don't want him to leave, but I can tell his mind is made up. He is like a brother to me, and I will always love him. We did a special ritual two days ago to seal our bond wherever we go. I split my hand with a knife and he split his and we shook on it, mixing our blood. I think it should heal nicely, a good reminder of what we came from. I never want to forget how much he helped me: he taught me how to control my emotions to control my magic, how to carve wolves from wood, and how to face fear head on and laugh... He carved me a mask out of a special piece of wood he bought from a traveling merchant. I will keep it close, always. Goodbye, Xothys. My brother and friend. Safe travels.
Diary Excerpt 9 - Age 17 - Ormeadow We're on the run. Back to Dryadalis. Dad found us and he tried to kill the whole town to get to us. He ripped my shoulder with his huge claws and then Mom had to fight him, and she's injured. Dryadalis will protect us from him, many Elven mages known Devil Slayer magic. Dad didn't look like himself, not like what I remembered: I've had an image of him in my head from when I was really young... but everything is changing and I just want to go back to the way it was! I hate this. I don't want to run. I want Dad to screw off and leave us alone. Why does he want to kill me? What did I ever do?
Diary Excerpt 10 - Age 18 - Dryadalis Teacher Pallura is a little bit older now, you can see it around her eyes and her mouth. Mom says Elves tend to live longer, but Pallura uses magic that drains her life force and she's slowly dying. When we returned to our village there was a huge celebration. No one seemed concerned with my Dad, they told me he'd never try to attack them, not after what happened last time. It sounds like they're stronger than him, and I'm safe here.
Diary Excerpt 11 - Age 18 - Dryadalis There was a ceremony today and teacher Pallura and the others gave me handcrafted boots made from dragon scales. I don't know how they managed to find dragon scales and I'm not about to ask, but when I wear them I feel like I could kick a mountain in half. They gave me bracers, too, to protect me from Celestious magic. I feel blessed by my people, but... I don't belong here. They look at me like I'm half of my father, like I could turn on them at any moment. I don't want them to fear me. I am eighteen now. I think it's time I go on my own journey, to the land with that guild Xothys was talking about. I wonder if he ever made it there. Dad wouldn't think to look for me so far away.
Diary Excerpt 12 - Age 19 - Dryadalis This isn't good... I was only sparring with the junior class to help Pallura out, and... there was this kid who was a little too powerful, not controlled enough. He was hurting this other boy with his Earth magic, tying him to the ground with roots- and I got angry, and... I used fire. I don't know how this happened. I've never used fire before, but I know I can't stay here any longer. This is it. My village can't keep a fire demon halfling around, not after what my father did to them. I must go.
Diary Excerpt 13 - Age 19 - Dryadalis I'm on the road now... but my mother, she told me one final story, one she'd been keeping inside all of these years. When I was a baby, she asked the people of our village for help to eradicate my fire powers. They fused a water lacryma into my body and a mage put a stopper on my fire powers that was supposed to last forever. She raised me thinking she'd done it, that she'd suppressed the fire within me- and then she taught me water magic because she knew my father would come for me one day. She wanted me to have a fair chance at protecting myself. Water beats fire, right? What am I, now? I am a fire demon with a water lacryma inside of me. I am the epitome of internal conflict. Teacher Pallura told me to seek out Fairy Tail, that the guild members would be able to teach me about magic and control. I'm going to seek them out, I'm going to find them, and I'm going to learn to control my fire magic. Then, I'm going to find my father, and force him to face me. May the stronger demon win.
