It had been a day or two after the entire island had woken up to find themselves in this new, diminutive state of being. A day or two for the runic Rumba(modified to boot, with razor blades affixed to it's sides) to nudge the door enough to create an opening that was large enough for it to escape out into the first floor hallway.
It only took about twenty minutes after that for the first hunter to cross paths with it, and half a minute after that for the rest of the island--at least those that bothered to pay attention to Twitter or text messages--to become aware of it.
It would have been easy enough to suggest everyone just make their way up to the second floor where there was food and water and a whole flight of stairs separating them from it, however, getting to those stairs was a bit of a challenge when there was a bladed, sucking, roving creature of death patrolling the hall everyone would have to go down to reach the stairs. Destroying it wasn't really the smartest plan, Zeke hadn't heard or come up with a better one.
Standing at the first floor landing, arms crossed and shoulders tensed, he was staring at the sheepish looking redheaded trainee at his side. "At this point, I believe I'm entitled to an I told you so."
He'd always said the thing was a death trap waiting to happen. He just hadn't had any clue as to how right he'd be in the end.
OOC This is a seek and destroy style ORP mission, which means that anyone and everyone is invited to come along! A text has been sent out to all available hunters, but it'd be easy enough to stumble upon the gathering crowd as well. Once a sizable group has assembled the hunt will begin!

The redhead beside Zeke did look rather sheepish; bright blue eyes averted from her companion, lips pursed, hands clasped behind her back, and her posture somewhat slouched, all done in a dramatic display of innocence. When he did finally speak to her though, she did draw one hand from behind her back, pointing at herself as if unsure of whether or not he was talking to her. Of course he was - she was the only one here, even aside from the fixed staring business - but she was still going to ham it up. Nobody would take that from her.
"Listen," Harley started in her own defense, taking a moment to tuck some of her bright red hair behind her ear. There was silence that followed, because really? She did not know what to say in her defense. At all. There was no way out of this; Zeke was right. Rhonda the Rumba was a dangerous creature already, even before they were magicked little, and she had the blade-wounds on her feet and ankles to prove it.
Instead, she sucked in a breath, and turned her brightest, happiest, most devious grin up to her beau.
"I'm still not gonna learn from this!" She assured him, jazzhands and all.

Hika had seen the text, and her brows had lifted up. An armed roomba on the loose? Normally her response would be to let it run out of power, but given the issue of being small enough to be completely MURDERATED by it, she decided taking care of the problem was a good plan. She gathered herself together, eyeing her jinbei that was all she freaking could fit into since it was what had shrunk down with her. She needed some cloth. If she had some cloth, she could make herself a proper outfit. She might not be a proper tailor, but she could have clothing.
At least she had managed to figure out how to access her makeup. She might have been shattered, otherwise. She sighed, and slipped out of her room, then headed for the gathering location, moving with EXTREME caution, in case of a wild roomba attack. She made it just fine, and slipped inside. She saw Zeke and the redhead she remembered meeting briefly at the end of Zeke's last battle during the tournament. She hesitated, for just a moment, at the sight of the enthusiastic trainee... She just did not know what to make of the other girl, but Zeke clearly liked her, so she was willing enough to get to know her. Finally she walked over, and gave them both a small smile. "Hello. So, Doomba on the loose, I see?"

Dai worked his way out and to the room where people were supposed to gather. The last thing he needed was to risk decapitation by freaking Roomba. He stared around as he entered the room, eyes taking in the details of who all he was going to be working with so far. He recognized two of them from Dares night, but that was it. He gave a polite nod, and found a spot to sit down, and settled in to wait, in no rush to do anything when he did not recognize anyone as yet.

Seren, on the other hand, had been with Rhys (as those who knew her might expect) and they walked in together, hand in hand. She was looking over at Rhys, as they walked, and talking to him. "This is ridiculous... A Death Bot on the loose when we're already stupidly busy with making life work as a stupidly tiny person." She sighed at those words, her eyes looking honestly a little tired and stressed, but she was working on it, trying to make everything work out. She then turned her head, to take in those already in the room.
She did not recognize most of them so far, but she spotted her brother, and had to control the urge to pale. It was one thing when he was battling in the controlled conditions of the tournament... The battle against the bee had been scary for her, when he showed up, but she had been a bit too busy to spend a lot of time thinking about it. This, though, she had time to think in advance about it, and she knew that meant she'd be worrying about him, wondering if her baby brother was going to get hurt, or worse. She took a slow, steadying breath, and began to walk towards him, not letting go of Rhys' hand.

"It'll have working chompers." Hattie insisted, even going as far as to bare her teeth and chomp a few times, pointing at her mouth to prove a point. She may have been about to argue, but more people were showing up, including the cutie she recognized from the mudpit battle!
"I may or may not have had any involvement in this." She said, her tone serious but her expression that of pure, wicked delight. "Also, its name is Rhonda and she's an adorable and hardworking girlie. A totally innocent flower." An innocent flower that had a knife and razor blades attached to it. Some of them with strong tape, others actually welded; it was a thing that had been worked on for years, slowly.
She waved to the others as they arrived; an innocent wave, as if she had nothing to do with this chaos whatsoever.

Unlike Seren, Rhys didn't look too worried for whatever reason. Maybe he felt like he was getting used to their size and the adjustment wasn't as tough on him--most of his concern was honestly more concentrated on Seren and the things that mattered to her. So he held her hand, loose and comfortable, as they joined up with the group that was forming to handle a weaponized robot vacuum.
"Better all of us deal with it now than after someone gets sliced and diced later down the line," he replied, his relatively blank expression now marred by a slight frown at the thought. If it hadn't been called to their attention who really knows if one of the two of them could have been a casualty, or Dai, or Joy, or...Noemi.
He blinked as the redhead greeted them, and he nodded in return. "Yoh. It's basically a robot vacuum that was outfitted with knives for...I dunno what reason, but there was probably a reason. It got out of the broom closet and would be a non-issue if we weren't all shorter than a modern day action figure."

Hika arches a brow at the redhead, her expression curious and also a little disbelieving at the idea that she was calling a roomba equipped with sharp objects 'adorable.' She then looked at Zeke again, for a moment, and back to the redhead, before she finally said "Well, unfortunately, 'Rhonda' is a danger to all of us, and no offense... I feel the need put humans before robots, no matter how working she might be." She gave a slight shrug that might be apologetic, but was clearly not going to change her mind.

Dai glanced up, at his sister, and waved a hello to her, and to other people who had entered that he recognized, like the lady that had dared him to kiss Nash on the New Years Dares night. He gave her a small smile, and a wave, then refocused on his sister and Rhys, waiting for them to join him. His eyes were calm, because he was not worried about this situation. It needed to be dealt with, but he felt sure that, as a group, they could handle a bloody roomba. It was just a vacuuming robot, after all. Sure, it had knives and all attached to it, but really... it was a roomba. It shouldn't be able to think or anything.

Seren saw people she knew arriving, and waved hello to Milo, Sonja and Tzei, then she gave Noemi a bright smile. "Hey, Noemi. Modified Roomba, I believe. Because that's logical." She sighed, and shrugged, scanning the room for a moment, then refocusing on Noemi's CAR. "Noemi, where did you get that car? Are there more of them? Oh my god, that would make things so much easier! Getting around, avoiding being attacked by things as much... That is a brilliant solution!" She stared at it, fascinated, as she stepped back to lean against Rhys, letting herself take comfort from the warmth and muscle behind her.
She glanced up at him, refocusing on his comment. "Not arguing that, love..." She said, quietly. "I just wish it was not one more thing we have to deal with, that's all. The over-sized mice and..." She shuddered, glancing at Milo with a grateful smile for his help in the battle against the horde of nightmares. "other such pests..." She chose not to name the ugly bugs the two had fought against. "are more then enough, if you ask me." Her head leaned back onto his shoulder, eyes closing for a moment.

There were more people gathering now, and among the few a very familiar Face. "Hey Ru." He flashed her a grin before frowning back down at Harley. "May or may not, my a**." This was 100% her fault, no matter how much she danced around the truth. But he'd already said his bit, and he knew better than to assume she'd walk away from this mission having learned anything.
Harley wouldn't be Harley if she were any different.
Sonja was wandering up to them as well, and she'd also get a grin and a nod. "Hey sweetheart, good to see you out and about." She was looking a lot better than she had a month or so ago, he was relieved to see. He gave her a peck on the cheek as she bumped his hip. "Please try not to get maimed."
He was glad people were turning up, but the over all cavalier attitude was a little worrying.
Hikaru's response to Harley had him reaching out to tug her in against his side. "She's just playin'." Mostly playing. Probably.
A hand on his shoulder made him turn, and spotting the white blonde hair had Zeke briefly leaning back against the other hunter. "Yeah, just a little bit longer. If anyone else turns up after the fact they'll just have to come find us. I don't wanna wait too much longer."

Henry wandered over to the group looking a bit on edge and more than a little rough. The T-shirt he was wearing was at least a size too big for him, and his jeans had a tear in the knee that looked fresh. First appearances suggested he'd been having a rough time being just slightly bigger than a grasshopper.
He didn't know many of the hunters that had already arrived, but he did know Dai, so that was who he gravitated towards.

"Stairs suck," Liam was saying to his girlfriend as the two of them made their way towards the group that was congregating at the foot of the stairs. He was winded, sweat beading along his brow until he swiped at it with the back of his hand.
