Renshu yawned as he made his way leisurely through one of the many winding caverns within his pride. Though he couldn't see outside, he knew that it was early morning. Normally, he would still be asleep, but this time, sleep eluded him. So he had gotten up, careful not to wake his jackal companion as he did so, and decided to find some food.
The tan lion gave himself a shake to try and wake himself up, but alas, he still felt sluggish. He was sure that his mane was currently a great big ball of tangled fluff at the moment, since he hadn't groomed it yet, but he wasn't really out to impress anyone... So, oh well.
As he got close to a turn, he slowed and then shyly peeked his head around the corner. Even as tired as he was, he was still nervous about running into anyone unexpectedly.
