Since the charity ball, Regan hadn't...been exactly avoiding the pinkette. Prissy was just this whirlwind of energy and light and pink and Regan always felt starstruck and dumbstruck. Like an absolute simpleton with the woman. Prissy was all glossy and like....girly.

Regan just didn't know how to handle that. So she hadn't been exactly avoiding the woman since their promise of the shopping date, she just conveniently hadn't seen the woman due to time....specifically in her garage.

Until one day the door busted open and the curly pink haired woman came in like the storm she was.

"Get cleaned up. We're going shopping." The smile was warm but the tone was clear there was no other choice, and Regan had immediately put her wrench down, moving to go shower and change. "Ye...Yes Ma'am." The mechanic moved swiftly, washing away grease and applying all the...fresher things so she didn't really embarrass the woman.

Soon enough she was whisked away in Prissy's car, clutching a little tight to the door handle. Not because of the fast driving...just...because it was so intense.

"Where....are we going?"

In all fairness, Regan had every right to be terrified when it came to Priscilla Sophia Constance Stratford.

No was not a term that Prissy was used to accepting - at least when it came to everything she could control. Only her father and her boyfriend seemed to have any power to stop her from doing what she wanted, therefore she went out of her way to flex her own power and control on all others that she could receive the answer of yes from.

Regan, Chase's starry little waif, seemed to thrive in grease and grime but if she was going to continue living under the roof of Chase's mansion and next door to Prissy's room, it was Priscilla's responsibility to make sure that a representative of the Pack - and someone she'd have to stand by on occasion - looked nearly as good as she did.

Plus it had been forever and a day since she'd done a proper makeover. It would be refreshing to pull out the credit cards for someone other than herself and her beloved bestest furry friend (who had already accrued more of a wardrobe from Build-A-Bear alone than Regan probably had owned in her entire life).

"The mall." Her eyes stopped themselves from rolling behind the designer sunglasses while hands gripped the steering wheel for an especially sharp turn. Destiny City, for all of its growing population, still lacked a keen fashion sense when it came to shopping. "It's not Rodeo Drive but it'll do for what we need."

The pink convertible screeched to a stop in an impromptu parking spot that could be questioned to be an actual parking spot in the first place. Sunglasses were lifted atop cotton candy curls as Prissy reached over to the back seat to grab her purse. Eyes settled on her companion in the next seat over as the car door opened as she recognized the startled look in the other girl's eyes. She was nervous. She was anxious.

She was putty in her hands.

"Come on sweetie, it's not going to be that bad." Her voice rose in octave, being as consoling as a pampered princess could manage. Lifting herself out of her seat, the door was shut unceremoniously as heels led her around the car and over to her passenger's side. Linking arms with the younger girl, she offered a smile before tugging her towards the mall's entrance. "By the time we're through, you're going to look gorgeous--er. That is, more so than normal, of course."

"I'm not sure if I've ever heard of Rodeo Drive." She SHOULD be used to this kind of driving. She had been on Chase's bike with the man driving, hadn't she? He had take it, sort of easy on her, hadn't he? Something about the pink convertible screeching around turns though made the already nervous youth...even more nervous.

When they came to a stop, Regan didn't question the choice of parking or the way others stared at them. She had come out of the car, best to show her not shaking legs in faded jeans. Hands disappeared in pockets to hide them from tangling with each other. She was, in short, very much drab to the queen that had taken her arm.

"I'd ask you to be gentle with me." Regan looked at the overwhelming mall entrance, where people flooded in and out. She avoided places like this for a reason. too many people, too many eyes. Too many everythings.

"But I think you're about to strip me down to basic layers." She sighed, and hoped...HOPED that she was going to be okay. That Priscilla was not the Amanda of Regan's future.

Prissy could feel the tension in the other girl's arm as she tugged them both forward - poor thing was probably terrified of putting on something that didn't look like it came in denim.

"I'm not going to be rough with you," she countered cheerfully as her actions proved to be anything but. Prissy didn't step out of the way to dodge oncoming foot traffic - no, the pinkette plowed directly through them, forcing everyone in her path to spread out, less they find themselves elbowed by the size six fashion princess. "But we do need to start with the basics. We can't all roll around in the dirt and grease and expect to be received well for it, hm?"

Her free hand moved out to fluff some of the curls bouncing from Regan's ponytail. "You've been blessed with a natural beauty a lot of girls would kill for. I'm not going to let you waste it away in some smelly old garage."

With that, the younger girl was yanked into the nearest department store, where rose colored eyes were already probing through the racks for anything close to looking like designer attire.

"Do you have a favorite color? I mean, besides blue - obviously that would work best with your complexion. Dresses? Skirts? Do you have a preference?"

"You'd be one of the first." The comment slipped before the girl could stop it, but she hoped it was quiet and that Prissy would miss it. The last thing she needed was....what happened when she had been younger. She didn't need other girls to understand her abuse. Chase knew and that was probably for the best. None of the other wolves needed to know of her weaknesses.

"Smelly old garage?" She shook her head, if she was bothered by the sudden preening, she didn't show it. Girl's had been vicious enough in high school. Regan knew she was pretty, but like Priscilla, she lacked the confidence to protect herself and still shine.

"It doesn't bother you?" She looked at the pinkette, genuinely curious about Prissy's thoughts. "Other girls wouldn't like someone else stealing their light." Though Prissy was far prettier then Regan, she just wasn't sure Prissy's thoughts on it.

"Anything but Pink." She gave Prissy a blank stare for good reason, "I don't know. I only had that dress....and a prom dress." She looked away, "You can't wear them when you're under a hood."

Thankfully, Prissy was indeed in her own world and missed Regan's telling comment. Hands were flipping through dresses left and right, the older girl buzzing around like a hummingbird from one section to the next. The only time she did glance up was to squint over at Regan's form - she'd have to guess the size, goodness knows the girl probably didn't know what hers was when it came to the particular brands that Prissy was perusing through.

Her hand waved off the smelly old garage question as if to imply she wasn't going to argue about it because what civilized person spent the majority of their time in a garage? Greasemonkeys. That's who.

Regan's next comment gave her pause, however, Prissy's attention now officially returning to the starry haired woman.

"Stealing my light?"

Her mouth curled into a smile, almost a cat-like smirk as she freed a dark blue dress from the rack and made her way back over to where Regan stood. The dress was pressed against her front as Prissy eyed the length against the woman's body.

"No offense, darling," She purred softly, tilting her head as she debated on the piece. "But you're far from able to steal my light. I'm just helping dust yours off so you can shine properly on your own."

The dress was unceremoniously left in Regan's clutches, soon to be joined with a few others. By the time Prissy was ready to shove the woman into the closest dressing room, poor Regan probably had seven or eight different dresses to model for her pushy companion.

"Two dresses aren't enough - you need at least one for every day of the week. Who knows who could be watching when you're out and about? Now go," her hands shooed the overwhelmed girl towards the empty room, "We need to see what works best, no sense in wasting any time!"

Regan almost thought she made a mistake. Perhaps her words were not quite what she was trying to say. Perhaps she would anger the pinkette. Perhaps, Regan thought, the problem didn't lay with other girls but the weird arrogance that Regan had of herself.

When Prissy spoke, debating over the dress pressed against her, it was honest. It was honesty and confidence, something that Regan sometimes lacked, and what the girls in her high school had never acquired. It made her, Regan thought, trust Prissy more.

A relieved sigh escaped, even as dresses were pressed into her arms, not really giving her a chance to speak before they were moving on the amount of dresses the woman needed to own.

"Thanks." She looked at the girl, tilting her head. "I like your honesty." She added before toddling over to the dressing room. The first one was innocent enough, the dark blue reminding her of the gown she wore as Adamantine, though not as sparkly and not quite as loose at the bottom. She felt almost awkward as she peeked out the dressing room.

"Am I suppose to show you?" Regan asked dumbly, "I don't think I can get the zipper all the way up."

Prissy blinked.

She liked her... honesty?

The older girl was used to more materialistic compliments. Surface level cooing, her outfit, her hair, the shoes she'd stand so perfectly poised in. No one ever seemed to give a second thought about her personality... personality could only take a person so far in life, after all.

While Regan retreated to the safety of the dressing room, Priscilla's lips pursed as she turned to stare at the array of mirrors and reflective Prissys staring back at her. While the starry-haired girl was an odd duck, there was a sweetness to her - an innocence - that almost seemed disarming. If she hadn't seen her behavior first hand at the mansion and at the Ball, Prissy might have even assumed someone as pretty as Regan stood as a threat to the pinkette's goals.

The question snapped her attention back into focus, rose eyes darting to the cracked door and the quiet girl whose head was poking out.

"Of course - I'm not about to let you walk out of here without the best of the best to add to your closet back at home."

Soft pink heels covered the distance between mirror and room, Prissy shooing the younger girl back into the room as she gestured for her to turn. "Not that I don't trust your opinion - you're just not... used to this sort of endeavor, sweet pea."

Fingers took hold of the zipper and she tugged it upwards, glancing over at the small mirror Regan was facing in the room that had gotten even smaller with the second girl's arrival.

"What do you think? I think it accentuates your figure nicely - you can't show off the goods if you're wearing drabby coveralls, Regan darling."

Honesty was a rare trait, and Regan liked it more then Prissy's superficial looks. Looks didn't matter to Regan, what did she do with them? What would Prissy's looks offer to a girl like Regan who spent time in garages and away from public eyes most the time.

In truth, what did Regan have to offer Prissy, rather then letting herself be dressed up like a doll and taught to dance at balls. They seemed like simple things to offer a woman who offered her more.

As Prissy came to do the zipper, Regan moved her hair out of the way. Her back was marred with thin and thick scars, various breakings of her fathers beating once upon a time. It was mirrored on her stomach and chest and thighs, places that were easily hidden by clothing because her father wouldn't do it where people could see. She thought. Only where she could remember. The zip up was quick and she was moving her hair back down, mostly to cover the v-like back.

"I don't think it'd be smart to show off goods." Regan stepped out of the room and moved her arms up. She liked the feel of the fabric but....the dress showed off more skin then she had ever before. She felt exposed, more then she did with Adamantine.

"I like the color though."

Eyes scanned over the scars on her companion's back, the sight bringing up more questions than anything else. Sure, they all took their hits and bruises when it came to fighting the forces of irritating but these marks were excessive in comparison to the handful that Prissy would acquire now and again, when caught in a skirmish.

"Well... we'll just have to steer clear of backless things, it's not a problem."

Her lips pressed together, forming a thin line as she studied the dress in its entirety on the young woman. With the marks on her body, there was no wonder why she continued to keep things covered completely.

"I know you prefer to remain... conservative, but that doesn't mean you have to be out of fashion while doing so."

There was an attempt at a friendly smile, then, Prissy's hands moving out to fluff up the skirt of the store's dress. Regan was right - the color was flattering on her and the pinkette couldn't have been more pleased. "Showing off goods is a woman's right. It's a natural power - you can make men do whatever you want, if you know the right things to show off or the right things to say."

Turning back towards the rack, she skimmed through the other clothes before fishing out the next dress for Regan's approval. This one had a slightly longer skirt but the color was paler than the blue she was currently adorned in.

"Quiet wolves can still look strong when they walk with confidence."

"Thanks." Regan didn't know what to say, and since Prissy didn't ask, she didn't bother to say. The last girl she had burdened with the truth of what the scars meant had left her not soon after. The last thing she could want or take was losing the small budding friendship with Prissy. No one had to be burdened with her scars, physically or emotionally or mentally.

Her gaze floated over her shoulder at the pinkette who was studying her. "Fashionably conservative?" She offered, "I did not know such a thing existed." It was a poor attempt of a joke, or teasing the other woman. Prissy was anything BUT conservative.

The idea of making men weak to her was something Regan wasn't sure she possessed the ability to do. Her few attempts had been damsel's in distress, things she had seen on movies or....learned from Alkaid. And one had been done on poor Epidote and the other an order senshi. It was hard to say, that in all of Regan's life, she had been controlled by a singular man. Attempting to break from the constant inferiority to other men was already hard enough.

It's why, she thought, she fought so hard to be equal to Laby, and in his eyes. equal enough to stand with him or Dia or Zircon.

Her hands came out to touch the paler color. "This one is very pretty." Prissy had such an eye for the dresses, and while she wanted to keep covered, she also wanted to do some justice for the things Prissy chose for her.

"Have you ever not felt strong Prissy?" The question only came after she had taken the dress, looking towards the pinkette.

"I mean, it isn't my specialty, not when I have so much to offe--"

It took Prissy a moment to realize that Regan's question wasn't a question at all - the quiet, mousy girl had actually made a joke.

Slowly but surely, a grin cracked across her face in reaction, conforming into a smirk as one hand raised itself to toss back pink curls over one of her shoulders. "Alright, har har - so maybe I'm not the best example when it comes to being conservative but please - I'd much rather you set an example for yourself and don't take after someone like... like Suri for goodness's sake."

The dress was handed over to the other woman as Prissy took it upon herself to move around to begin unzipping the dress for her companion. Dutifully turning around to give Regan privacy, her eyebrows furrowed at the question directed towards her.

"I've had my moments." The response was light - an attempt to keep things casual instead of dwelling on darker thoughts. "I mean, I'm sure everyone has. Why - are you worried about something?"

The har har earned a small smile from Regan, so small, you couldn't even tell her lips turned upwards, but they had.

"Not a fan of Suri's style. She pulls it off well enough." Regan only had respect for the general, and Suri's conservative style was perfect for the smaller woman. "Do you not like each other?" It wasn't hard to feel the tension between the pinkette and the more quiet sky captain.

"I'd like a happy medium between you two. Style wise." Regan added at the end, to clarify. She didn't mind the dresses because well....being with the back would require more attention to the events. With the addition of Trey as well...Regan couldn't fall behind.

"Thank you." As Prissy unzipped the dress, reminding Regan that the woman still had not said a thing about her scars. It was...she thought. So normal. It was something normal. She let the dress fall, neatly picking it up and hanging it back up before exchanging for the lighter color.

"Don't know." Regan pursued her lips and then she stepped out, "I'm worried that you all will leave....like Wolfe or Tourmaline." She wasn't sure she had to worry about Labyrinthite. He had left and came back, but....he was their alpha. Well he had been to Wolfe and Tour...but they still had left.

"You could say that we share a mutual dislike for one another, sure."

Hands busied themselves with straightening up her already perfect blouse. Invisible wrinkles were smoothed out as pink eyes stared at the dreary looking dressing room wall. It went well with the conversation that Regan was bringing up - dreary, dreary, dreary.

As she turned back around to examine the newer dress, her smile had grown somewhat tight but her hands reached out to fluff up this skirt as eyes gave the frock a once-over.

"There's always a potential for loss, just like there's potential to have new friends show up on a moment's notice."

Fingertips spruced up tangled hair that managed to tumble its way over Regan's shoulder, the blue hues working nicely with the lighter colored material. "You just have to figure out who's got your back because you never know when someone else may try to take a stab at it."

Shrugging, her head tilted and then nodded in approval at the dress.

"I don't plan on leaving - my heart is here, my home is here." The conversation was getting too thought provocative and so Prissy smiled harder, doing her best to encourage lighter conversation. "Hopefully you've found a home here too? I know we haven't had a lot of girl time together, but that could change. Y'know, if you'd like it to."

A mutual dislike seemed obvious to the Starry senshi, and she didn't comment further on it. If Suri and Prissy had their problems, that was really between them. Just like, she thought oddly, the way Silk and Prissy had problems.

"I'm not going to stab any of your backs." Regan looked at Prissy, sure of such a thing. She had no intention of harming her packmates. Not that she could really.

"Girl time." A small huff escaped, "Does that entail....Pillow fights in our underwear?" She had seen movies.

"Or painting of nails? Playing with hair?" Her mind started to turn, "What is that one movie...Mean girls? Is that what it is?"
