xxxxxxBurberry followed behind Ronos, happy that he had some faith in her ability to get them both out of this situation. As the duo reached the main computer, Burberry immediately went to work with inserting the chip into the nearest port she could find; shockingly, they actually had one. As Burberry inserted the chip, the large screen would begin to turn a vivid red, with a plethora of encrypted coding appearing on the screen. Burberry would prop up her glasses as she began to type a series of commands for the virus, targeting it to every single network and server on this damnable ship. "Okay, it just needs a few seconds for it to load; by this point, there's no way the virus can be tampered with, it's too far in... I can't believe it... We're winning." Burberry flashed a smile at the redhead, the screen throwing in more words of different intergalactic viruses targeting the ship.

xxxxxxBurberry continued to type away on the main computer different actions for the mainframe to take, leaving behind a little "gift" for Dor'on: Intergalactic tentacle pornography if the main computer were to be turned on again. "Okay!" the young woman whispered as she yanked the usb from the computer, stuffing it in her lab coat. "Let's get out of here, I highly doubt they will take too kindly to the present I left behind..." She wasn't above such mischievous games, but it gave her a wave of relief knowing that these monsters would get their just desserts. Burberry would jog to Ronos, taking the man's wrist as she dragged him away. "Okay, the exit- where is it?" she asked, her sensory glasses looking around for any incoming guards.

xxxxxxBurberry felt her heart drop as she bumped against something hard and cold; her eyes would slowly crawl up to the towering figure before her, her pupils dilating in utter shock, "He's faster than I had anticipated..." the thought as she swallowed a lump in her throat. Unfortunately, that lump did not go down as she grabbed by the neck, and lifted off the ground. The young woman had began to grab onto the tall alien's large fingers in attempt to pry them off; she could only watch as Ronos was shot back into his room, who knows what will happen to him now. "That's the last of my worries, what will happen to ME now?!"

xxxxxxBurberry grabbed one of the cells' bars as the ship rocked from Ronos' kick. "Well, we should be able to make it far enough, the G-55 model is relatively dependable," Burberry replied as she let go of the bars and walked towards the front of the ship. "I will try to get us as far as possible, let's hope this model is akin to the G-50 model I used to get on this planet." The tuffle made her way to the control room, her eyes darting around all the new buttons to press. "Okay, this isn't too far from the blueprints I have constructed for previous ships, this should go rather smoothly." She clicked her tongue and turned the auto-pilot mode off. "Oh, bother..." The doctor had forgotten about the virus she had installed on the main computer. She quickly shielded her gaze form the screen and immediately turned down the volume of the pornographic video. "Let me just... There we go." Burberry had terminated the virus in a matter of minutes, however she had been forever disturbed by her own virtual plague. "I got my degree for this..."

xxxxxxBurberry closed her eyes and mentally mapped-out a practical course of action. Burberry was not as well-versed on the current map of the galaxy, unfortunately. "Wait, the Galactic Interface," the scientist had remembered the GPS application that was recently installed on her Galactic Interface. That revelation alone gave Burberry enough confidence to navigate this space vessel. The Tuffle's only obstacle would be to avoid any 'intrusions' while on her trip, no doubt it's illegal for a common citizen to operate a Galactic Patrol carrier. "So as long as I acknowledge the risks, my efforts will be fruitful, regardless."
Burberry quickly typed in some generic coordinates into the auto-pilot settings. Within a few minutes, the ship pushed off from the ground and accelerated forward in a stream of light. If everything goes accordingly, the vessel should effortlessly make it out of the solar system in a matter of hours. With limitless time in her disposal, Burberry decided to venture through the vessel. "Let's see what we have here," the woman pulled her wireless earbuds from her purse and gently pressed them into her ears. She turned back to where she came from so she could scan through the halls while listening to her audio-book titled "Space Exploration for Dummies."
The Tuffle stopped at one of the labeled rooms. "Mugi, who could you have been?" Burberry slowly opened the door and looked inside, whoever Mugi was clearly had poor tastes in interior design. The room was mostly barren save for some broken training equipment and that slab of steel in the center of the room. The walls bore scuff marks and dents from something large, the floors appeared to be sticky and pink. The woman had an idea what the substance could have been, she was just curious to know who it belonged to. Burberry had almost immediately shut the door so she could scout the other rooms. However, the scientist's eye had caught something weathered and brown on top of the steel slab. "What is this?" The woman danced her way through the blood stains barely cleaned off the floor. "A book?" The woman took a set on top the frigid block of metal and began to look through the book. Minutes would turn into an hour of reading.
Chapter 10 ...Well s**t. I almost killed the runt in our training session. She actually managed to hit me- ME! I was impressed and excited that she might actually be a challenging opponent. Guess I should have known it was a fluke. That woman had some words for me, not that I care. A fight is a fight and since she survived, the runt will be stronger for it. If anything, I did her favor. If she doesn't get stronger, Dor'on is gonna leave her behind. Although she did leave this mess on my floor... Ah, whatever. It adds character to the room, I guess.
That particular chapter struck a chord with Burberry, "So the blood on the floor is..." The woman calmly set the book down and sped-walked out the room. All the while, she would question the identity of the 'runt.' Based on the number of rooms on the ship, there were a total of four members of the crew: Dor'on, that LARD of a woman, her current 'prisoner,' and a mystery person. She only knew the names of two of the members: Dor'on and Mugi. Who was Mugi, however? "So many questions and such little time, I should do some studying to clear my mind..." With that, the scientist made a mental note to tend to the other rooms at a later time, and made her way to the meeting room...

Burberry set her belongings down on the meeting table and took a seat. Her eyes glanced over as the large map spread over the table. "How many planets have their terrorized? I wonder." She shrugged it off, it was better that she didn't know. "Okay, let's see what my space exploration holds for me." She pulled out her Intergalactic Interface from her purse and set it on the table.
After pressing a few buttons the screen would turn on and upload a hologram of the solar system. A string of characters would float up and surround each planet, providing a snippet of information about them. Each major star was given its own blurb of information, while each constellation formed paragraphs of their history. Admittedly, the presentation was a bit gaudy, but informative none the less. Actually, that wasn't the thing that caught Bur's eye, it's what came last. Above the hologram was a quick disclaimer on space exploration:
"Exploring space is very difficult because it contains no air and is so large that even the fastest ships can only explore a tiny part of it. It takes 3 days of traveling to reach the Moon and, depending on speed, it would take a long time to reach the closest star Proxima Centauri. Manned spacecraft are designed to keep good air inside them and to protect astronauts from extreme temperatures. We gain most of our information about the items in space from different kinds of telescopes. Some of them are space telescopes, put in outer space for a better view. Space probes also explore planets, comets and other space objects that are not too far."
Burberry furrowed her brows in concern. The ship had taken off not too long ago, it was too soon to know how long it would take before landing. She pursed her lips together and hummed in concern. "Well, speed is a large factor in time, I should have checked the gauges of the ship before launching." She mentally kicked herself, how could she be so careless? She was too eager to launch, having only checked the necessities such as the fuel tank and cooling system, she didn't think of checking the rang of speed.
Bur shook her head and sighed. "I neglected the fact that this is INTERSTELLAR travel, it's completely different from lone space travel, oh dear." continued to read on: "The main challenge facing interstellar travel is the vast distances that have to be covered. Hence an interstellar ship would be much more exposed to the hazards found in interplanetary travel, including vacuum, radiation, weightlessness, and micrometeoroids. At high speeds the vehicle would be penetrated by many microscopic particles of matter unless heavily shielded. Carrying the shield would greatly increase the propulsion problems."
For the first time in her scientific career, Burberry was unsure of herself. She wanted to inform Ronos of the hazards they could face while on their travels. Sure, the Galactic Patrol used this very ship to travel the cosmos, Bur was aware of that. However, she was unsure of the actual condition of the ship after the battle. At face value, everything looked stable, but the smallest inconvenience could be fatal. The doctor got up from her seat and began to pace around the room, Intergalactic Interface in hand and worries clouding her confidence.
"Cosmic rays are of great interest because there is no protection outside the atmosphere and magnetic field. The energies of the most energetic ultra-high-energy cosmic rays ave been observed to approach 3 × 1020 eV, about 40 million times the energy of particles accelerated by the Large Hadron Collider. At 50 J, the highest-energy ultra-high-energy cosmic rays have energies comparable to the kinetic energy of a 90-kilometre-per-hour baseball. As a result of these discoveries, there has been interest in investigating cosmic rays of even greater energies. Most cosmic rays, however, do not have such extreme energies. The energy distribution of cosmic rays peaks at 0.3 gigaelectronvolts"
Just from researching the dangers of cosmic rays, Burberry had grown quite tense. "I think that's enough 'bitter truth' for now," she said as she changed the subject of her studies. She sighed and walked towards the tinted window of the carrier, placing her interface on the table next to her. "Ugh, I'm being obnoxious with my pessimism." Burberry took off her glasses and pinched the bridge of her nose. "I can get this ship to land safely, albeit with some scrapes... I hope."
She turned towards her Intergalactic Interface. "What is the probability this ship will land with minimal damages?" After a series of high-pitched tones that triggered one of Burberry's migraines, the device printed out a thin slip of paper. The scientist gently ripped the paper from the Interface and scanned it with bare eyes. "Oh, my glasses." She slipped them on and resumed to her work. Mouthing some numbers and mentally crunching them in her head, Burberry was beginning to feel hopeful.
"Oh thank goodness, it has a 75% probability of landing safely, at least with minimal to moderate damages that could be easily fixed." She crumbled the slip of paper and tossed it in the nearest bin. The girl laughed off her previous anxieties, "Aha...Did I take my medication today?" Actually, did she remember to take anything before leaving? Did she at least have her inhaler on hand? "Let's hope I don't do too much physical activity, aha."
Burberry looked back at her Intergalactic Interface and furrowed her brows. "I think that's enough researching into the worst case scenario, it will not benefit my health in any way." She sighed, stuffing her device back in her purse. Slowly, she walked back to the front deck, her eyes widening at what she was seeing. "Ronos, prepare for landing... Wow, that... That was fast." She blinked and sat down on the control booth, turning off autopilot to hopefully land this ship in one piece.
