[Tiny Battle] A Buzzing Problem (Seren x Tzei x Dai)

Seren's mood was dropping by the minute. Today was proving to be challenge after gods ******** damn challenge. This day was hell in a hand basket. It was not even going there, it was already hell. She glowered at the giant world, as she got out of her room... AGAIN... to go on another mission to find something to help fix things.

She was still avoiding the issue of how the ******** they were supposed to go to the restroom, though. The ******** toilets were five million feet high, it felt like, and even if a person could get TO the seat, it would be a ******** risk of drowning in gods damned toilet water, because what if you fell? And how the ******** were you supposed to _FLUSH_? This was all a disaster, and she was trying so hard not to think about the issues.

She was also trying not to cry in frustration. Mice were big enough to eat her, silverfish were horrifyingly huge in comparison to her tiny self, and suddenly her boyfriend was exactly the same height as her.

Actually, that one was not as bad as it could be. But snuggling against him did not feel the same as usual, because he was no longer big enough to wrap around her and make her feel like she was being utterly protected. And no, it did not make her want him less or love him less, it just made her feel sad because she loved that feeling with him.

And then she heard it. The sound of buzzing... a Fly. A FLY WAS COMING TOWARDS HER WITH SOME SORT OF INTENT THAT SHE DID NOT LIKE IN IT'S MULTI-FACETED EYES.

She could not help it. She stared for a long, silent moment, then screamed her intense rage at the world.

"So. Hungry. So very hungry."

Tzei is still slowly (SO SLOWLY) making her way to the kitchen. Hallways are much longer when you're teeny tiny. Actually, even if she does make it, are people even cooking? Is the food going bad?! It's her duty to eat it. Just in case. Her train of thought is broken when someone in front of her screams, a long, angry, tiny scream, and a huge buzzing object knocks into her from behind.

"OW! Oi! Watch it, pal--a fly?"

Seren swore as the fly buzzed another person... was that Tzei again? It was. Who would have thought they'd run into each other twice in one day, during this insane being a shrunken derp nonsense? She never would have expected it, personally. But that was less important then surviving the fly, which apparently had decided the pair of them looked like a delicious little snack.

Little. Gods damned being LITTLE. Seren wanted to scream again.

Instead, she summoned Diwata as the Fly came at her next. She swung Diwata in a hard arc but the fly's leg clipped her, and she barely tapped it with her blade, which made her SNARL in her irritation.

"Hey, it's Seren again! You're all over the place today. Did you reach the kitchen yet? Is it worth it to try and get there? God, this fly is way worse when you can't swat it away, what the ********."

As it zooms in again, somehow exuding an air of self-confidence, she manages to bean it on the side of its torso with her whip.

"Gahhh! The buzzing is so goddamn loud!"

"Yes! You COULDA come with me, and I woulda made sure you got food!" She tried not to snap, but she was feeling kind of stressed. "Just be glad you did not meet the GODS BE DAMNED THIS FLY IS LOUD GO AWAY YOU UGLY SHITTING FLY... The damned SILVERFISH swarm I had to fight!" She glowered at the fly, her head ringing with irritation and also the painful sensation of vibrating inside of her skull that she could feel from the buzzing of the fly's wings. She attempted to swing Diwata at the sword, and screamed in irritation when she COMPLETELY ******** MISSED.

"Oh, sweet! There's food after all! Wait, actual food, right? I don't wanna cook a mouse or anything. Just saying. My life hasn't hit that low point just yet, you know?"

Staying on the opposite side of the fly (She does look just a tad bit upset), Tzei watches as Seren takes a spectacular swing and an equally spectacular miss. Urk.

"Just our luck we got flying enemies now. Hey, you know what would be great? Those electric flyswatter things! Too bad those are out of our reach. Literally."

Trying to wait until the fly rushes in closer, she swings and...uh...kind of hits? More like just bounces off it, but at least it did...a tiny amount of damage! Slow but sure, right?

Dai had managed to get out of his room, though he was trying not to freak out. He could only be grateful that he slept in loose, yoga style clothing and socks, and that his phone had been in his hand when he had passed out. He had stuff on his feet and a way to communicate. He never took off his totem, so that was on him too. He was not totally defenseless. Now he needed food, water, and to make sure his family and friends were ok. He had texted Seren but she had not yet responded. Same thing with Rhys, Lex, and Tzei. He was NOT happy about not hearing from people, but if they were tiny too, maybe they had not had their phones on them. If they were not tiny, was it possible his phone just could not connect, while so small? He did not know.

What he did know was he was in a terrible mood after having to basically rappel his way up the stairs. They were so much longer, now that he was not even the size of the smallest human baby. How the hell did insects manage to live, when they had to travel so many long spaces to find food, but were so very small? Bees, butterflies, and all at least had wings but ants? They did some amazing traveling for their size, so how did they do it? He paused at the top, to catch his breath, before heading down the hall.

He was about halfway there when he heard voices, both of which sounded familiar. He oriented, and spotted Tzei and Seren down the hall. It felt so very far away but... they were fighting. They were being ATTACKED BY A FLY. Oh gods. He had to go help. He ran down the hall, bellowing in rage, his glaive appearing in his hand.

The fly turned, and even managed to look surprised as he managed to slice into it, but then it buzzed straight into him.

"Yes, actual food! The kitchen has food, though it is hard to get to, and I think if some of us work together, we could raid the vending machines..." She gestures down the hall, were the now HUGE devices sat. "To get stuff out of that. And..." She was about to continue when she heard the surprising sound of someone bellowing. She almost expected it to be Rhys, with how protective he could be, but instead... it was Dai! Holy ********, her brother was here, and tiny too, and attacking the fly! When it hit him in turn, though, she SNARLED in fury, and swung her sword, hard, at the damn little s**t of a fly.

"Oh ******** yes to getting free snacks! Sign me up! I could probably live on a bag of chips for a month. Although not if you worry about health, eh? Hey, who's screaming?"

Why is everything suddenly so loud? Tzei turns to try and locate the source of the other yell, and the fly, seeing a moment, carpe diem's it and clips her on the side of the head and sends her sprawling. Scumbag.

"GAH! Ow! Goddamn! Why are you so angry?! I didn't zap you! Don't you normally eat dead things?! Oh, wait, I mean, if you kill us we'll be dead and so on THAT'S A LOT OF EFFORT ON YOUR PART THOUGH."

Sitting up, she finally locates the new screamer and waves.

"Hey! Dai! Look, it's your sister! Don't lose, okay?"

Dai glowered at the ugly s**t eater, rubbing his chest a little from the hit. He was NOT pleased to see it hitting Tzei or Seren, though he was rather impressed with the blow Seren managed to get in after. Rhys had told him his sister could kick a**, but hearing it and seeing it were two different things, to be honest. When the fly turned around and started moving in for him again, he glowered, and swung, but the fly managed to bang him first, so he barely even clipped the little ******** IT. I am not going down to a s**t eating, globe eyed BUG with pretensions of grandeur!" He snarled out, and added "Come on, Tzei! Can you like... use your whip to knock it out of the air maybe?" He was trying to come up with ways to make this battle more effective, and also to encourage his fellow battle participants as long as he was not encouraging that UGLY GOD DAMN FLY.

"Once we get this fly OUT of the sky and dead, we can discuss how to do this!" She tried not to snarl, but there was definitely more anger in her voice then most people might be used to hearing. She sounded about ready to commit murder, honestly, so it was a good thing the fly was her target. "DIE YOU UGLY ********." She yelled in rage, her blade swinging up, HARD, and she managed to hit it enough to take off a few of it's legs.

Ew, but damn it was a hard hit.

"HAH! Pretensions of grandeur, oh my god, haha! Hey, how're you holding up? How's being teeny tiny? Okay, okay, let's see..."

She waits till the fly comes in again for another round of a**-kicking (their a**, its kicks), and flings her whip out to try and send it off-course. It does, she has to admit, a fantastic aerial maneuver and dodges the hit, but it does end up hovering closer to the ground.

"Think you can hit it nowWWOH MY GOD, WOW, ALSO EUGH."

Now even more thankful she's on the other side of the angry girl (angry siblings? They look pretty stressed out), she hops away and just avoids getting splatted on the head by a flying (get it? Get it?) leg.

Dai would have been pleased at the way he made Tzei laugh, if he had not been too busy wheezing from the way the ******** fly had barrel rolled him. And then he was staring in stunned shock at the hit Seren made. "HOLY ********, SEREN." He managed to wheeze out. He had never seen anyone hit ANYTHING that hard before, and he was sort of stunned that the fly was not yet dead. It WAS, however, knocked off balance enough that it whammed into Dai, and Dai nearly fell over, unable to even begin to make another attack.

Seren looked down and noticed ALL of the Runes on her giant blade were glowing. She stared at them, and then her lips curved up into a smile of utter pleasure in her fury... Especially when she saw the damn fly coming back around for another attempt at HER, after having knocked her brother over. Her eyes glittered and she snarled "LET'S DO THIS, DI." as she pulled her hands back so that she was prepping like a batter in baseball to swing.

The runes all went from a light glow to ******** SHINING bright as she swung her sword, hard. It seemed to gain a hell of a lot of momentum, maybe more then should have been possible for human arms, even augmented by FEAR, to manage, and the sword sliced through the fly as it was oncoming. Seren rolled right after the hit, so the two VERY SURPRISED LOOKING halves of the fly went right on by her, and SLAMMED into the wall with a somewhat disgusting thud/squish sound. She even, somehow, managed to avoid getting Fly Guts on her.

"Yay! Dead fly! Dead fly! Dead -- sweet God that's disgusting. But, uh, we won! So yay! Oh god, okay, I'm just gonna be over here and not over there."

Staying a safe (very safe. Very far away) distance from what used to be an abnormally aggressive fly, Tzei waves at her colleagues.

"Awesome! Small insects are no match for us! Which, you know, doesn't sound that cool until you realize we're like the size of teacup. Anyway! Who wants to go swipe some food?"
