╔═══════════════════ In all her life, Lelyna had never felt as comfortable, content and happy as she was the moment she woke up next to Mikhail. With his arm wrapped around her waist and her cheek resting against his chest, she felt protected and desired. The room was warm, with sun streaming in through a far window and a fire, long since burned low in the hearth. The bed’s comforters were thick and warm, pulled up all the way to her shoulders. But what kept her warm was Mikhail himself. Sleeping soundly, his heartbeat a steady rhythm in her ear, his breathing slow and even, she knew that he was still dreaming.
Her night had been more magical than she ever could have imagined. From the moment she’d left the Academy with Kayl, Lelyna had felt like a Princess, being whisked along through some fairy tale. The Gala itself was such a lovely memory, and after Mikhail had willingly shared his memories of the night with her, she’d seen how lovely the gown had looked upon her, how splendid the Ballroom had been decorated and how handsomely Mikhail had been dressed. By far, her favorite memory of the night was the dancing. Mikhail had guided her through each dance with such grace…
What happened after the Gala, that had changed her forever. Mikhail had brought her here, to his family’s ‘Summer House’, as he’d called it. It was manned by a staff of three, year-round, in case someone in the family stopped by unexpectedly, like last night. After their room had been prepared, Mikhail had given her an evening she’d never forget. Still slightly sore, but in a good way, she remembered all that they had done and the love they’d shared. Mikhail had been so loving, so gentle with her. Lelyna had never doubted his love for a moment, but if she had, any doubts of his affections would have vanished…
Cuddling close to him, Lelyna sighed in contentment. It was a free day and she was perfectly happy with just cuddling against Mikhail, which was probably what would end up happening. It was probably cold outside and if they went back to the Academy, they wouldn’t have any privacy. At least here, they could spend some quiet time alone if they wanted to.

╔═══════════════════ Feeling Mikhail stir next to her, Lelyna smiled and sighed happily. She stayed in his arms as he stretched his body a little. After their activities went well into the night, she was sure he felt a bit tired and sore. Lelyna yawned a little, only to feel his loving kiss upon her forehead. “Good morning, my King…” Lelyna said as she cuddled closer, pressing her face against his shoulder and neck. As Lelyna shifted against him, she felt a bit sore, but in a good way. The night before had been amazing…
“I feel a little sore, but it’s nothing that some cuddling and a hot bath can’t fix.” She teased lightly, knowing he was concerned about her. Lelyna wasn’t the healthiest girl, she was frailer, more sensitive, but Mikhail loved her anyway. He’d chosen her, even knowing that she was so weak, so fragile. “I love you, Mikhail…and before you ask, no, I don’t regret last night, not even a teeny-tiny bit.”
Humming happily, she kissed and nuzzled his neck with a smile. “I know that you probably wont argue, but we’re not doing anything today.” She teased. “Just you, me, this bed, some delicious food, a hot bath…cuddling…kissing…” Laughing lightly, Lelyna touched his face until she found his lips, she then leaned in to kiss him lovingly. “How does that sound, my love?” Lelyna knew that she wouldn’t get any complaints from Mikhail.

╔═══════════════════ [ - Enter Lelyna for New RP Day - ]
After the ceremony, Lelyna, Eryli and Elenora had shared a lovely meal with Mikhail and his mother. While others had gone out drinking, Lelyna wasn’t one to indulge very much and thus had opted to forgo the celebratory drinks, or at least most them. Much to Lelyna’s delight, her and Mikhail’s mothers got along famously, chatting happily with one another throughout the meal.
Now that both Lelyna and Mikhail had graduated, they’d discussed moving into his family’s summer home. As a member of the graduate program, Lelyna could keep her dorm room, but she knew that the Academy was accepting more and more students, thus it was with a heavy heart that she’d opted to give up her space. Lelyna had had to console Eryli a bit, reassuring her that she wouldn’t be far away and that they’d still see one another often, but Lelyna suspected that her dear friend was a bit upset over losing her roommate.
Once the meal had concluded, everyone adjourned to the Summer House. Eryli would be staying the night and taking one of the many guest rooms, just like Lelyna and Mikhail’s mothers. The house was more than large enough o house half the Academy, so a few guest rooms were nothing. Upon bidding everyone goodnight, Mikhail had escorted her back to their room. She knew that it was a bit improper for them to share a room, but at the same time, they were living together….so what was the harm?
Much to Lelyna’s delight, she and Mikhail had had their own little celebration before turning in for the evening. Cuddled close and wrapped in her love’s embrace, Lelyna fell asleep with a small smile on her face.

Morning seemed to come too soon. Humming slightly as she came awake, Lelyna held Mikhail a bit closer, nuzzling against his chest as she tried to go back to sleep. But alas, the smell of bacon was wafting up from the kitchen and soon Lelyna’s stomach was protesting, demanding food.
“Mmmm…Mikhail…are you awake?” She asked, stroking his bare back lightly with a small smile. Lelyna knew that if he wasn’t, he soon would be. No one could resist the succulent smells of bacon, after all.

╔═══════════════════ Lelyna smiled a little as Mikhail stretched and groaned, waking up for a good night’s rest. Once he’d finished, she cuddled close again, feeling his lips upon her forehead in a loving, good morning kiss. His fingers running through her hair made her smile even more. Nuzzling his chest, Lelyna sighed a little. “It’s probably my mother. She’d not one to be idle, even when she takes time off. I’m guessing she either ushered the cook out of the kitchen or they teamed up to cook a big breakfast for everyone.” Lelyna said with a small giggle. Her mother could be very persuasive when she wanted to be…
Tomorrow, she and Elenora would sail to Valor for a quick visit. Lelyna had broken the news to Mikhail a few weeks ago and her Prince, true to his nature, had immediately offered to come along. He’d said it was so that he could visit more with his mother, but Lelyna suspected that he’d worried about her traveling without him – they had become quiet inseparable these last few years. In any case, she was glad that he was coming with her, she couldn’t wait for him to meet her father and see the home she’d grown up in.
“Why don’t we go down and have some breakfast? That bacon is calling my name…” Lelyna said with a wide smile, her stomach lightly growling, demanding food. Placing a kiss on Mikhail’s lips, Lelyna slipped from the bed and slowly made her way over to the wardrobe to grab something suitable to wear down to breakfast.

Kayl Ardrus De'Valaer
Probability || None Enters from Eoana Forest...
╔═══════════════════
Riding like a bat out of hell, Kayl quickly pulled his horses reins to lead it into the housing district of the city. The clapping of his horse's hooves on the ground would be an alarming sound through the night as he tore onto the main road, and started to adjust his speed so that he could quickly adjust and correct his horses charge. Reaching the private road that led towards the Warsong's private estate, Kayl came across several guards who started to block the entrance and try to stop Kayl. Kayl didn't slow for them however, and rushed his horse right through the gate. When the guards realized that he wasn't going to stop, they started to initially unsheathe their swords, but underestimated the speed of the horse. Before they could even get their blades halfway out of their scabbards, the horse was powering through, and they were dodging out of the way as not to get run over. "Hey! Stop!" One of them screamed as he got up to his feet and started to run after the horse. The second one picked up a horn, and quickly blew it hard, signaling to the house guards that danger was heading their way.
Riding hard into the estate's courtyard, Kayl pulled hard on his horse's reins as he reached the entrance which was already becoming flooded with several guards, coming from all around the building. Kayl looked amongst them all for their sergeant, and for other guards who had known him, and jumped off of his horse towards one of the men as his horse slid to a stop. Landing on the ground and rolling to his feet, Kayl came up in a guarded stance with his hand on his swords hilt as he locked eyes with the guard commander. "I am Kayl Ardrus De'Valaer of house De'Valaer, I have no time to deal with noble customs and idiosyncrasies, and must speak with the Lady Lelyna Thaniels post haste," Kayl said with immediate authority, using even his family name and authority in his order. The guards listening went wide eyed and pulled back while keeping their hands on their weapons to allow their commander to speak with the young lord in front of them, nervously looking to each other to see what was to happen as Kayl continued to speak.
"You know who I am, Sergeant, so you can let me pass, or I will pass right through you, something I can assure you not one of you will enjoy, nor his highness Mikhail when word reaches his ear," Kayl shouted out, a direct threat upon them uttered should they impede his course. The guards looked upon themselves for a moment and then to their sergeant who brought a hand up to the back of his head for a moment as if he was trying to think of a proper response. "O-of course, Lord De'Valaer, our apologies for impeding you, there is no need for unnecessary trouble, we know who you are..." The sergeant said calmly as he put his hands up to the rest of the men, signaling them to lower their guard. "Get back to your posts!" He commanded before quickly stepping in front of Kayl and kneeling before him briefly. "Lady Thaniels is in the east wing, likely in his majesty's quarters," The sergeant said while standing to escort Kayl to the location. "Is everything alright my lord, has something happened?" The sergeant said as he waved off the guards to return to their posts while leading Kayl into the mansion.
"I do not have time to explain, but know that this does not involve the prince in any way," Kayl said in order to reassure the guard commander. Running through the halls, Kayl quickly made his way through the east wing, and started to call out to Lelyna so that he might find her more quickly. "Lelyna!... Lelyna! It's me Kayl!" he yelled out as he ran through the main corridors and towards Mikhail's quarters. Without a thought, Kayl went to the doors and swung them open as he didn't have a moment to spare. "Lelyna! We need your help!..."

╔═══════════════════ Lelyna had just finished dressing for the day when she heard the blast of the guard’s horn. Concern immediately filled her – was Mikhail alright? With all the recent disappearances and the killings…it was risky for everyone, but as a Prince of Valor, Mikhail could easily become a target. Her love had gone to spend a little extra time with his mother before their voyage and thus, Lelyna was alone. Hands clasped in front of her, Lelyna took a seat on the edge of the bed and strained her ears for any indication of what was going on.
It wasn’t much later that she heard Kayl shouting her name through the halls, likely waking anyone who wasn’t already awake. Eyes going a bit wide, she stood and placed her hand upon one of the poles of her and Mikhail’s four poster bed. Swallowing hard, her fear for Mikhail only increased by the moment. “Kayl? I’m here!” She called out, hoping he heard her. Kayl’s frantic shouts and rushed footsteps echoed in her ears as he rushed down the hall toward the bedroom.
It was mere seconds later that the doors to the chamber were flung open. Before she could question what was happening, Kayl spoke, his tone urgent and pleading. Brows furrowing, Lelyna stood there for a moment, confused as to what she could help with. Again, her heart clenched in her chest – this had to have something to do with Mikhail, but if it did, why weren’t the guards frantic? While she hadn’t known Kayl for very long, she considered him one of her closest and most trustworthy friends. If he needed her help, then she’d give it.
Without further hesitation, she nodded and held out her hand for Kayl to take, to guide her where she needed to go. “Anything you need.” She heard Kayl come forward and take her hand before whispering a relieved ‘thank you’ before he drew her from the room as quickly as her feet would allow. Gasping Kayl’s hand with one of hers, she lifted her skirts with the other, not wanting to trip along the way.
She heard guards whispering, confused as to what could be happening. They spoke of Kayl rushing the gates, which had been the cause for alarm, but that was all she could discern from their hushed tones as they passed. With the help of the guard Captain, Lelyna was lifted onto the back of Kayl’s horse, right behind him. Wrapping her arms around his torso, she locked her hands together, holding tight. “I’m ready!”
It was all Kayl needed to hear before he urged his horse into a gallop and shot down the path leading away from the Estate. Lelyna had no idea where they were going, but she hoped that she could help in whatever way Kayl hoped she could…

Kayl Ardrus De'Valaer Sylrenya Duskwing
Probability || None Enters for the new day...
╔═══════════════════
Waking early the next day, Kayl was already up and about from what could have been the best night's sleep he had in recent years. There was so much that had happened in such a short amount of time, so much to take in, and after leaving Lelyna and Elenora in the infirmary, Kayl ended up simply returning to his dorm and reflecting on everything he learned. So many thoughts filled his head that the day seemed to just melt away before he had fallen asleep. When he woke, Kayl quickly got cleaned up and dressed for the trip back home, after all that he had learned, there was someone that he felt he needed to speak to the most, and that person was back in Valor. Knowing that Lelyna and Mikhail were going to be heading back themselves. Kayl decided to join them so that they could travel together, it would also give him some time to be able to speak with Lelyna, since he never did actually get to speak on the additional memory from earlier. As he packed up a few things, Kayl went to his nightstand and pulled open the top drawer, and was surprised to see Sylrenya huddled inside, hiding from the world.
In that moment, all of Kayl's hustle and bustle came to a stop as he looked down at his friend who was still in anguish. "Syl... There you are..." Kayl said earnestly, as he was worried if he was going to be able to find her before he left. She looked up at him with darkened eyes, as if she could cry at any moment. "Oh Syl..." He said while reaching down, and carefully lifting her out of the drawer. She looked up at him with a slightly panicked, but sorrowful gaze as he lifted her from the drawer, and before she could move, he held her close to his chest, carefully holding her close as not to harm her, and she couldn't help but melt into embrace. Reaching up she hugged his broad chest and sunk her face into his tunic. "K-kayl..." She managed to let out as she tightened her tiny fists on his shirt. "I'm so sorry Syl, for everything..." Kayl said as he let her take a moment to let it all out, her quiet sobs being pressed into his chest. After she calmed down a bit, Kayl held her up so that she was level with her face. "Don't you worry Syl, we won't let him get away with it, we'll find him... I'll find him..." Kayl said as Syl looked down at the palms she stood on for a moment, her face a bit red. When she looked up at Kayl again, she looked completely nervous and somewhat lost. "W-what should I do Kayl, where should I go? What do I do until then...?" She asked as she brought one of her hands up rubbing her other arm.
Kayl's eyes went a little wide then, he was surprised she felt like she needed to ask. Smiling then, Kayl looked her in the eyes, "You stay with me of course, you silly goose," He said while bringing a hand up, using the side of a finger to gently wipe away her tears. "Syl, if you want, you can live with me for as long as you want..." He said while still holding her up in front of him. Her little wings fluttered a bit at hearing his words, and Syl looked up at him with the first smile she could muster since seeing Argos' memory. Suddenly, she darted forward, flying right onto his face, planting as large a hug as she could as her tears flowed once more. "Is it really ok? Can I?" She asked lightly, wanting to truly know if it was ok for her to call this home, for her to call him family, and Kayl nodded with a light chuckle. "Thank you... Kayl..."
After another moment, Sylrenya managed to composer herself, and she felt much better then she did a few moments ago. Even though she was still sad about what happened to her village, she felt much better knowing she had a home and a friend that would help her and figure it all out together. It was in that moment that she noticed that Kayl was packing up some of his belongings, and she looked at him inquisitively. "So what's this then...?" She asked while looking around at his stuff. "Ah, well actually, I'm planning a small trip with Lelyna and Mikhail back to my home in Valor..." Kayl said while looking at his stuff and then looking at Sylrenya whose wings dropped down a little. Shaking his head lightly, he brought one of his hands up to his waist as he made a suggestion. "Syl, why don't you come with me, come clear your head, we can figure out the rest when we return for the new school year," He said while smiling once more. Sylrenya's wings fluttered about again as she hovered in front of him, and she nodded in agreement. After a few more minutes, the two of them headed out the door, and rode together to the Warsong's estate. Upon arriving this time, Kayl was expected and allowed to peacefully ride up to the estate's main mansion. He dismounted his horse Elynai then with Sylrenya sitting openly on his shoulder, and walked up to the main doors and knocked loudly.

╔═══════════════════ One thing Lelyna didn’t like about being blind was the fact that she wasn’t much help in situations like this. While the majority of their things were already packed and ready to be taken to the ship, there were always last-minute items that needed to be gathered. Sitting on a plush, wing backed chair near a window, Lelyna enjoyed a cup of afternoon tea and some biscuits while Mikhail directed the servants on what to do. Sighing a little, she placed her cup aside and closed her eyes.
The last few days had been so chaotic and emotional that it was hard for her to process all that had happened. While she had told Mikhail some of what had happened at the infirmary, she still hadn’t shown him. She wanted to, but she was hesitant. The memories were very intense and Lelyna knew that once Mikhail realized the trauma she’d been put through, he would likely be very upset, and rightfully so.
Add to this the fact that now she’d also discovered that she had a brother – a brother that she couldn’t publicly claim lest his family, their family, find out and seek to harm her, well, it was all very overwhelming. Lelyna felt so tired, drained emotionally and physically. She hoped that this trip home would help her sort out her feelings and give her some answers. Kayl had decided to come along and Lelyna suspected it was so he could spend more time with their mother and learn a bit about Elenora and Lelyna’s life up until now. She didn’t blame him in the least, she was very curious about their father.
While Lelyna had a father of her own, whom she loved dearly, she was curious about her birth father. His anguish in that memory…it had been intense to say the least. Lelyna had to wonder if he’d ever wondered about his daughter, how she was doing and what kind of a person she was. Had he ever thought to seek them out? It seemed that her mother had sought out Kayl many times over the years. Whenever there had been a public event that Kayl or his father would be attending, Elenora had made it a point to stand in the crowd, just for the chance to catch a glimpse of her son. That was how she’d known who Kayl was the moment she’d seen him at the graduation ceremony – she’d watched him grow throughout the years…
Letting her head tip back against the cushion of the chair, Lelyna sighed. There was a lot to talk about and so many questions that needed answers. Hopefully, the trip would offer some clarity…
Not long after Lelyna had set her tea aside, a footman arrived to announce Kayl’s arrival and request for an audience. Shaking her head a little at how formal everything was, she smiled and nodded. “Please let him in, Gerald. And could we have some more tea, please?” It was only polite to offer fresh tea to a guest…especially if that guest was your long-lost brother.

♠ FEELING ▬ ❝ Numb ❞ ♠ LOCATION ▬ ❝ The Warsong Home ❞ ♠ COMPANY ▬ ❝ Lelyna, Kayl ❞
~~(Begin Day Interaction)~~
The previous day was hard. Fidal had to keep the store closed as he lay in bed, struggling to come to terms with what he had seen. How could someone so easily snuff out so many lives? He knew some people could be so cruel, but this man's ability was so unreal. All that power used to end so many lives. What if he arrived in the city? What if he was there already?
Fidal was shaken. He lost track of time as he tried to regain some semblance of himself. Before he knew it, that day had passed. He managed to get in some sleep, but not nearly enough before the screams woke him.
He moved around his living space, a zombie, as he prepared for the day. He was trying to recollect himself with his morning routine. Still, it was dark out and without the morning sun, even that felt wrong. Sitting in a chair, drinking a cup of tea he let cool too much, he had a realization.
It was that realization that brought him to the Warsongs' home with a basket of fruits. While he was feeling terrible and tortured by the vision, one person had a worse experience. Poor Lelyna suffered more not only viewing the memory, she suffered as she extracted it and as she shared it, exhausting herself.
Feeling a bit ashamed of himself for letting the vision get the better of himself, he left his abode with the intent of trying to cheer Lelyna up a bit.
Walking up to the door of the house, he lifted his hand to use the knocker. With a deep breath, he collected himself as much as he could and gave three loud knocks. As he waited for someone to answer, he did his best to make sure he was tidy.
