One would think that since he was almost 18 Jason would be a bit more confident in himself. One would think that now he had become a knight, that he would actually feel like he had proved himself somehow, but no. Jason still hadn't really changed, but he had been very surprised when he had tried powering up for the night to take a break from studying and had well… he had been too surprised to speak for a bit. He had felt different, and a bit more powerful, and he no longer had the lantern to hold, instead it was now a staff of some sort, one that he really wasn't used to holding. It looked a lot like the lantern still, but he missed being able to hold it like one.
So, now that he had become a knight, he had contacted Delphi to see if she could help him feel a bit more… like he was supposed to be a knight, rather than a squire still. He had asked if they could meet up where they had to go to practice his magic when he had first become a squire, considering it a safe space at least, and if they wanted, they could go to one of their Wonders at least if Delphi decided it would be better to talk there.
He kept his hands in his pockets, thankful that he still had them as his uniform had changed quite a bit. It was still very warm in the winter, but the outer-most layer had become a bit shorter, so he had been glad when he discovered that there were still pockets in it. The outfit may be a pain in the winter, but at least whomever was giving them their outfits had taken a small bit of mercy on him and let him keep the pockets!

Having been once more contacted by her fellow Polaris knight Winterlynn had powered up and headed for the meeting spot. The way there wasn't too long but she was careful about her travel there, not wanting to bring any unwanted people with her. The transcended knight figured there was a reason for this meeting and having unwanted company just wouldn't do, she was not a fan of the Negaverse or any who served chaos - they felt all sorts of wrong to her. The only thing she wished she had in common with them was she wished for a weapon like them, her staff was nice but it wouldn't do as much damage to them as some of their weapons would do to her. It wasn't that she disliked having magic, she liked it, she just didn't see it as helpful as a sword might be or a mace or something equally deadly.
As she closed in on the location she was able to pick up on a signature..a knight? Was that what the call was about? With a spark of hope, and excitement, over what her fellow Polaris knight might have not told her the transcended knight hurried her pace. She normally didn't care much for people, for various reasons, but Polaris knights, and a certain short little Cosmos knight, were special to her - they were exceptions. They were hers and she was theirs, in a sense, as they were all one group or at least they should be.
When she drew close enough to see him she picked up her pace yet again, sprinting towards him, she closed the distance quickly. "A knight - congratulations." She was happy as her pale lavender eyes swept over him. "At least you'll still be warm on Polaris." She felt so bad for Sutai and her uniform, that poor girl had to freeze every time she went to Polaris.

Once he felt her aura, he could tell that she was speeding toward him, and he almost felt a bit anxious at meeting her again because of it. It was always a bit embarrassing for him to meet up with other knights when they had last seen him at a lower power and to then suddenly be at a higher power. He had almost sent out a small message with his ring saying that he was a knight now, if only to get it over-with more quickly. He supposed he just didn't like the attention focused on him, after all, he was a follower, not a leader.
But he knew he would have to do better since he was almost at the point of going to college and needing to go off on his own, though he would probably stay with his brother for a bit still.
He was standing around with his hands in his pockets, while also trying to balance his new staff which... wasn't going so well. It really liked to slip apparently. Finally though, she was close enough, and he gave a small wave to her. He nodded, blushing a bit. "Thank you." He replied, though he couldn't help but chuckle at what she said afterward. She was probably thinking of Sutai. Poor thing.
He looked at Delphi. "That's why I called you here. Since I'm a knight now... my goal isn't just to be the best at this point. I mean, I still want to be the best I can be but... I mean, besides helping other knights and fighting chaos, I'm a little lost at this point." He said, giving her a small smile of embarrassment. And while he wasn't paying attention, his staff slipped and fell, and he sighed as he picked it up once again, this time holding it close to his person.

Laughing softly the dark haired knight shook her head, silly boy. "At least you aren't aiming to be the best knight out there, there really is no best knight. Every one of us is human and so none of us can be the best." Each of them had failings, had triumphs, and never were the best all the time and at everything. To try and be the best was arrogant, in her opinion, and left the person bound to fail and suffer for that failing. Even she knew she couldn't be the best, nor did she want to be if she could be. She was happy being her best, and he seemed to just want that as well.
"Right now, since nothing big seems to be happening, I'd say you should focus on training...both physically and with magic and weapon. Also, if you want you can work on repairing your wonder like I've been doing with mine. New knights, if we find them, help them and make them feel like they are apart of something. I think if we make them feel like they have something they won't be a soft target for the enemy to try and bring to their side. That's where I try and focus when nothing is happening. Fighting chaos...that's when we encounter it. When we don't we do our best to improve ourselves." And their wonders, as well as other knights.
"I've noticed that knights are smaller in number than senshi. But all of us lack when it comes to being a unit and working together. Small groups might be manageable though, less personalities to rub others wrong." She knew she wasn't eh most friendly of people herself, despite how she was right now. This was a knight of Polaris - this was one of hers.
"I think it might be a good idea to try and gather a small group together...to learn to work together and help each other."

Alphubel grinned at her. "So, basically what I've already been doing?" Or at least he had already tried to help other knights and repairing his wonder. Though he did get distracted quite a few times when he was there. He was only glad his brother didn't question where he was going so often, and Alphubel assumed it was because his brother thought that Alph was with his girlfriend. And he was, part of the time, but whenever he felt like he needed a break from just... everything and a quiet place to just relax, watch the stars, or even study. Luckily when they couldn't find him on school grounds, it also meant that they couldn't prove that he had left, so eh hadn't gotten into trouble for leaving.
He nodded. "Yeah, there are so few... and so few types." He briefly felt guilty about not being a knight following his girlfriend's planet, but it's not as though he could help it. His ancestor had been a Polaris knight after all. He couldn't change the past. "I do agree thought that it is more manageable. The senshi that I have met so far seem to be so scattered. There are so many yet they barely ever seem to work together." It was weird to say the least. Maybe senshi were supposed to be more independent?
Alph perked up at what Delphi said last. "A small group? That sounds good to me! Or at least the working together and helping each other part. I know it was hard for me when I first became a knight, so if I could help others, well, I'd feel a bit better at least that there aren't so many pages wandering lost and unsure of what to do!"Sleet Tempest Snape Sorry for taking so long to reply! ((sorry for the double quote))

"too few of us...or so it seems. Perhaps it just seems like we're few in number because of how scattered we are." And how few they ever all gathered together, knights or knights and senshi together, and when it happened there was predictably the rubbing of personalities. It never went well and nothing got done, ever, it was useless for them to gather in groups. It also, unfortunately, made then susceptible to being sensed and attacked.
"I've been meeting with a transcended knight of Cosmos, Hyperboria, and two others. One is Aokigahara, a squire of Saturn, and the other is our fellow Polaris knight. Another squire Sutai, you should remember her, we helped her with her wonder." It was a small group, terribly small, but it might just work, there were less personalities which could cause problems.
"If you are interested I could invite you to the next gathering and we could all sit and talk." And eat, as typically food and drink made an appearance.
"We all have similar goals and mind set." Though she hadn't talked much with the squire of Saturn. She couldn't figure him out really, and she was typically good with people like that.
"I mean it's not pages...but we can reach out and help others once we're organized better - the few of us." And they could bring in more if they needed to, once they were established. Once they were solid and stable it could be done, they just had to pick the right people to bring in.

Alphubel agreed. "I feel like there are more but, we are too scattered. I agree with you." He listened to her talking about how she wanted to get a group together, and it appealed to him. "That would be good if possible. Of course I know Sutai, and I hope she's doing well. But it would be great if you could let me in. I may just sit and listen most of the time, but a core group of knights would be nice." Well, he supposed that he already had a bit of one. After all, he usually went with either Sutai or Delphi when he needed help! Or just to go and see a Wonder.
"Well, even if it's not pages, it would still be better than being so splintered like we are now. Even though I like being a Polaris Knight, I sometimes get the feeling that there is some... strife between the knights depending on who they serve, and I would really rather we just work together and make up for our weaknesses with each other." He shook his head. He sometimes wondered if they were on the same side from how some of them acted.
"Either way though, I'd be happy to join. Anything I can do to help." And to feel like I'm actually doing something. He thought, unable to voice the second part to Delphi.

"That may be an issue. I'm not so social that I'd notice if there was an issue between which knights serve which planets." But it wouldn't surprise her if that was the case, not much would surprise her really. The way some butted heads, and the lack of progress, she could see that being a contributing factor to it all.
"You would think in a war, such as we are, we'd set aside certain aspects of our personalty as well as opinions we may hold. We should work together...and yet we as a group are lacking." It was a wonder the Negaverse hadn't won yet and killed them all, and yet she could remember in the future what it had once shown them...well some of them anyway. The Negaverse would win...and they would be hunted and killed. Hadn't those who had seen learned? Apparently not, or not enough had seen as she had.
"I'll talk to Hyperboria....just be prepared, if you come, Hyperboria is young and small. I don't care for most people but I find myself feeling protective over her." Very protective, even if the other had been a transcended knight while she had been a squire. It was something she couldn't avoid, and hadn't really tried.
"She's not one of the pre-teen senshi running around but she is younger than us."
