Reading – From a young age, Priam immersed himself in books. Childhood sickness meant he spent a lot of time in the hospital and resting at home, and unable to participate in strenuous activities, he turned to reading. He indulges in all genres, though has a soft spot for fairy tales and romance. He finds reading to be a relaxing, creative hobby that allows him to fabricate any real adventure without any risk.

Book Restoration – Enamored by stories, Priam holds a special place in his heart for old books. Age and misuse takes its toll on old volumes, and Priam is passionate about restoring what he can. He has a love for all books and has poured much time, effort and money into this hobby. He has a vast collection and is always willing to help those close to him with any restoration needs.

Writing – Priam’s love of books was quick to lead to a love of writing; he mostly writes for himself, but has published several books. He always writes under a pen name and simply enjoys sharing stories. He does not write for monetary gain but has a love of all stories. He typically writes fairy tales and always writes happy endings.

Teaching – If Priam had not pursued a medical degree, he would have loved to have been a teacher. He volunteers regularly to teach various specialized classes and offers tutoring services out of DCU. He enjoys Biology, Mathematics and Literature but he is always looking to advance his own knowledge as well as others’. He has participated in hosting several classes geared towards preparing high school students for college and ‘living in the real world’.


Virtues:

Calm – It is difficult to rile Priam up; he is generally level headed and can approach most istuations with a rational thought process. His demeanor generally gives the impression that he is reliable and trustworthy. He seems peaceful despite whatever chaos is around him and is capable of handling a large workload with minimal stress. He has a gentle presence; it can be soothing to be around him and he is generally good for calming nerves.

Passionate – Priam only ever tries his hardest. Anything worth doing is worth doing right, and he constantly puts forth his best effort. When he is involved in something, he is very passionate about it being done right. He is hardworking and will see all projects through to the end. He is ambitious, and confident in his skills—or his ability to find people who can help him. He is enthusiastic and genuine in his endeavors, and is incredibly supportive of the endeavors of those around him.

Empathetic – It is easy for Priam to put himself in the shoes of others and he often considers them before himself. His ability to connect with people often makes him seem approachable and trustworthy. He seems to be able to easily understand people and is forgiving of their transgressions. He can be very relatable and approaches others with kindness and generosity in an effort to understand and learn from them. He wants to make the world a better place and sometimes it just starts with making an effort to connect with someone.

Astute – Priam is rather clever and is good at observing people and things around him. He has spent a large amount of time studying and amassing knowledge. Flaws:

Predictable – Priam is something of a creature of habit; he is set in his ways and never seems to do anything particularly exciting. It is somewhat difficult to introduce him to new things because he meets them with caution and reservation. He can be easily manipulated by anyone who is aware of his inclinations.

Perfectionist – Priam value’s his work and isn’t satisfied unless something is absolutely perfect. His work can be intense and it can be frustrating to watch him fuss over minor imperfections. He will wear himself thin. He can be nitpicky and a bit overbearing on things, even projects or efforts done by those around him. He means well, but the feedback can sometimes seem overbearing and overcritical.

Self-sacrificing – Always eager to help others, Priam sometimes overlooks his own needs. He is perpetually overworked and neglects himself to the point of exhaustion. He is already physically frail but perserverance allows him to push his boundaries more than he needs to. He sometimes does not seem to have a high opinion of himself because he is always throwing himself into fixing someone else’s problem, and it can be frustrating when he neglects his needs and has to rely on those around him.

Proud – Priam has worked incredibly hard to get where he is today, and as a result he is very proud of what he has become. He takes offense when he or his accomplishments are challenged. He can become competitive in an effort to prove himself and his worth. When his pride is damaged, he can become sullen and bitter.
