I thought it would be a good idea to help our fellow Gaians stay stress free. So, here, in this topic, you can find tips to help you keep your stress levels down! To Stay Stress Free:
*Squeeze anything that is non-living and squishy in your hand. (It's best if it fits well in your hand.) -Thanks Vi! *Eat a small piece of dark chocolate. (Other chocolate works, but the darker the better) It is scientifically proven to make you happier. But DO NOT over do it. -Thanks Vi! *Try to stay away from what is stressing you out, if possible. -Thanks Vi! *Eat good foods most of the time. Even though it's hard, it does help. *Drink plenty o' water. *Get rest. You can't function without sleep, right? (*cough*Kat*cough*) *Exercize. Oh joy, oh rapture, I know, but trust me, it helps! (Running is good! If you're getting really stressed out, get away and run, if possible!) I'll keep adding as I think of anything! Feel free to post some!

Stress relief Ideas:
1. Give and or get a massage Yesh... I'm also into massage. I know this: Giving a massage will make you feel accepted. Getting one (a good one) will make you feel cared for. 2. Spend some time in close proximity with friends...simply being around those you care about can help. 3. Pets have been proven to lower blood pressure and help stress levels. 4. Meditation...even trying will help. Get comfy, with or without calming music, and just breath deeply and picture something in your head that is calm and unchanging.

1. Read. 2. Listen to whatever music you think will help you improve your mood. 3. Eat comfort food! (Not the best idea... but it helps if you're desperate.) 4. Write a venting page! Just get out a pen and paper and write down all the bad thoughts in your head. Cuss as much as you want, if you feel the need. (Just don't show it to anyone else.) I find that if it doesn't make you happier, it at least empties out the negativity. But sometimes being empty is scarier.

1. Go onto the therapy circle wink 2. Use up your energy like jump around, run away, whack something... etc. 3. Listen to music in head phones and turn it up REALLY loud If you don't mind having a headache and losing your hearing. xd xp 4. Talk it out- just call a friend or b!tch at the wall: it helps, really! Holy schnitzel! You b1tch at the WALL?!? I gotta try that sometime! (It'd be easier than having to write everything down. @_X) 5. Doodle- doodling realy helps expressing yourself 6. Climb onto the roof and meditate

If you notice yourself being really b1tchy and snappy in a certain situation, get out of the situation before you boil over and explode.

I don't know if anyone already posted this, but singing helps. Amen, sister. 3nodding It works for me. And I may not be the best person to tell you all how to talk to people: Say something's bothering you and your friend wants to know? That's not my area of expertise. Just ask Emmalalemma. I don't tell people. I keep it all bottled up inside me and it's never commin out. It doesn't help I'm telling you right now!
So talk to dear friends about it! That's one of their soul perposes in life isn't it? To help you with your problems?

I'd just like to say that sometimes, it's none of your friends' d@mn3d business. I find that when my friends are bugging me to tell something, it makes me want to less. But if you want to tell (and your friend doesn't mind listening x_x), by all means do!

If you're feeling any sort of negative feeling, DON'T CURL UP. The closer you pull your limbs together, the more negativity is bottled up inside, and nothing good gets in. So what may be a slight irritation can grow into a huge problem. Trust me, I know from experience. One time, I was just slightly annoyed at my friend and curled up, mostly as a joke. And while I was curled up, I managed to convince myself that I was really mad at her. And it just got worse from there.

ummmmmmmmmmm
1. well if you're at home, and your parents dont mind (or arent home twisted ) turn on you favorite song and tuurn it up as loud as you can stand it ans SCREAM!!!!!!! I've never tried it cuz i hav a 3 year old bro, a 7 year old bro, and i hardly EVER get the house to myself, i'm stuck home BABYSITTING!!! but i'm off subject again... stare
2. or do the above tip but you don't have to scream. i advise the song Welcome to my Life by Simlpe Plan, it's my fwavwitest song, ok well its i tie with this one song by Queen but oh well....and i'm digressing again....
3. eat chocolate, there's this chemical thingy ((i forgot what thaeyre called) in your brain and they are the chemecals that make you happy. the more f them your brain releases the better you feel. chocolate is scientifically proven these chemicals are released when you eat chocolate. dark chocolate works too, it also lowers your cholesterol (but who really cares about that? rofl )
4. read. i love to read. Chicken soup for the soul really helps. i'm currently doing my best to purchase all of them. i have *counts on fingers* 11 of them, and there's lots more of them. but i'm getting off subject again...
5. get on the computer and do somthing, with me its either a game or the internet. i do them bot everyday, but i alternate between internet and games (but thats un nesssisary (or however you spell it) info isn't it)
