Limerence gazed upon the lands set forth before him, galaxy colored eyes watching everything that moved beneath his enormity. While he was not an Old God, he was a God non the less and had a duty upon the land of Mortals. At least if he wanted to be a part of it. Often enough he wondered why anyone would want to leave this place, it was everything they could have ever wanted. Why try and expand into something more than what you already had and needed?

He supposed mostly it was his nature that called to him, to cause mischief in a way. Never did he think of himself as an instigator, though he did have to say that his calling was a unique and fun one. Having the ability to cause mayhem in the form of romance was one of the most alluring gifts anyone could have. He didn't envy any of the other Gods or Goddess's for their abilities because he was completely content with his own powers. To say he was happy would be a bit of an understatement, he was in love with life and himself mostly. Vain wouldn't be a proper word used because he didn't flaunt himself around or care about his looks.

He just truly loved to be.

Extending his massive, tattered looking, wings he stood up and gave a shake, flowers falling about him as he did so. They only stayed alive for a minute or so before wilting and dying behind him as he walked. It was as if they foretold his very nature, a fleeting God of fleeting emotions; vivid and full of life one moment, dull and empty the next.

Caring not about such trivial things as emotions the God bounded forward a few steps, his weight almost thudding the ground as he did so, and launched himself into the air with three solid flaps of his wings. Being airborne was a glorious feeling. The way the world shrank around you, the clouds in your face. It was like a dream come true to him. He truly couldn't be happier than where he was, his heads literally in the clouds.

One could say he wasn't a mean God or a Spiteful one, but his particular powers could be viewed as a monstrosity. At least if he cared about what anyone else might think he would likely agree, though he found his powers to be a much needed thing in their world and in the Mortal realm. Perhaps he might go down there one day and give it a go, see how it went. Though he wouldn't say he was going to do that anytime too soon. Living on his own was a treat of it's own but he was starting to grow a little bored doing the same thing day in and day out.

He needed to spice up his life and perhaps the life of others while he was at it.

would he really want to take the time to go there though? Finding a nice mountain lookout he landed in the snow, troves of it coming up around him as he thudded down, his massive form no kind thing to the earth. Flowers danced around in the snow but died shortly after and he gave his mane a healthy shake to dislodge any of the white powder that had clung to him. Curling his tail around his feet he took a moment to look around him once again.

Gods, they were lasting beings. Though kill-able they never truly died. So life here grew rather boring to him in a sense. Mortals though, they were fleeting beings and easily corrupted and manipulated. A smile spread across his lips. Maybe that's what he needed, some time with the mortals.

A hearty laugh burst forth from his lips, deep and boisterous it echoed across the mountain tops and he decided. He would go to the mortal realm, hang out with them for a time and see why others of their kind tended to visit there often enough. Plus he wanted a change of scenery now that he was thinking on it more. The world down there was so vast and unexplored by him that he'd at least be occupied for a few months at the very least. If he didn't grow too bored by mortals by then.

He doubted it though given the stories he'd been told and how they reacted towards one another at times. It was like it was here, save they were easily killed and would likely bore him fast but he couldn't say for sure yet so why not just give it a go for a while. The next dilemma would be to stay as his true form or take up a more, natural one that allowed him to blend in. He knew plenty of his own kind that had forms in which to change into and he wondered if perhaps he should allow himself that luxury also.

Tapping his wings against his body he thought on it and would much rather to stay anonymous for a time before coming out in the open. Though it would really depend on the situation he supposed. Given the right circumstance he wouldn't even bother hiding who he was from anyone. A smile spread across his lips this was going to be a fun little trip indeed.

Now that he had all that worked out he just needed to figure out where he might go first. There were many places and many species and he figured lions were the most common and easily found so he'd just have to find the right place to 'show up'. He was certain he could choose anywhere but he wanted to start out big so he wasn't easily turned away.

The next question would be who would benefit most from his presence. After a few more thoughts it was decided, he'd heard of a few prides in particular but one stood out. He'd go there first.
