Erich was here mostly for one reason, and that reason was free food. Sure, he could have gone and seen the exhibits, and those could be interesting, but that would mean less time at the food table, which is something that Erich did not want to miss. Though he was here for a second reason, and that was the random blind date that he had signed up for. He thought it might be fun, just meeting someone, but if it didn’t work out, well, there was always the buffet table.
He had dressed in a pair of jeans and a button-down shirt, but was still wearing a bandana to keep his hair out of his face, though at least it matched the color of his shirt this time. But hey, if the girl, Caitlin he had been told, wanted nothing to do with him because he wasn’t a fashionable guy, again, the food would always be there, waiting for him to devour it.
Though it was kind of weird that the food was near the exhibits. But Erich decided to wait before eating any of it, to be polite, and instead waited near the table for his ‘date’ to arrive.
