Humans with powers exist in the world. There is an academy they can come to to get an education and to use their abilities. The town around the large school campus is populated by graduates and their families.

age: 22description: One pure white wing power: healing - she can make injuries on others disappear as if they did not happen. She can even go as far as reviving those who have been dead for a short amount of time. regeneration - Injuries she sustains on her body will heal extremely quickly. How long it takes depends on the level of the injury. abilities: Hard Feather - She can use her wing as a shield and her individual feathers can be thrown as sharp blades. Wind Storm - she can use her wing to create huge bursts of wind and swirling tunnels name: Korvo occupaction: headmaster  xoxodogeyesxoxoName: Alba Age: 15(freshman) reference Powers Hair and nail manipulation- not very skilled yet, can only grow her own hair or nails. Character: Kora Gender: Female Grade: Freshman (age 14/15) Ability: It's not developed very well. She can astral project / lucid dream (aka have control of her soul and send it out into the world while her body sleeps or is in a meditative / coma like state). I'd like to have her learn how to pull people into her "day dreams / fantasies" or "dreams / night mares" or "make others think they see / feel / hear / smell something happening around them when it's not". If anyone has any other input about how her powers could evolve - I'm all ears. ( Astral projection is sending your soul and mind outta your physical body. Lucid dreaming is being able to control what's happening in a dream.) Picture:

Trent
Age: 19
Powers: Can fly and has mild control over earth.
Personality: Extremely loyal and courageous. Trent always puts others before himself, no matter the situation. He is very kind and open to anyone and everyone. Easy to get along with. Not exactly the smartest person as sometimes basic things need to be spelled out for him. There is something more to him that allows him to connect to nature, but no one can figure it out.
Jade
Age: 21
Powers: Electricity (Needs a source to generate)
Personality: Very quiet. Not one to let other's in. Trent's best friend since childhood. She really only opens up around Trent and can come off as harsh or crass to others. Very athletic and agile and great at sports, but usually doesn't participate due to being overly competitive and aggressive.
Echo
Age: 13
Powers: Mild Healing
Personality: Echo is mute. She is very shy and will actually try and hide from people. She is very sweet and reserved and caring. Everyone treats her like a little sister. She is also very smart, but can be hard to get to know and communicate with due to her being mute. Has another power that will be revealed at a later time.

The school was once again brimming with activity as its students arrived to begin their classes. Its a huge place with all ages. It may look like an ordinary school at first but it holds a secret from the rest of the world. The students here also posess special and even magical abilities.
The academy has existed for quite a long time too. The farther back on the grounds you go, the more the buildings age. The grounds even included a very large castle that was mostly used for the housing of students who did not have homes to go to. This place had anything you could imagine, it seemed, its students could learn anything they wanted.
Cloud was in the center garden where nobody went because she was always there. She had climbed up into the huge tree. She had her back to the trunk. One leg was hanging down next to her one white wing. The other was stretched out along the branch. Her hands rested behind her head and she sang quietly to herself.
New student orientations were suppose to be happening today. Usually everyone would be excited to get to know new people. Cloud was not. Her peers that were already here feared her. She had no one but herself and this garden to care for.

Echo wandered around the school looking for her homeroom. She was lost on the massive campus, surrounded by students of all ages and buildings of various sizes. To Echo, it was a nightmare. Anxiety was setting in as the desperately tried to find her way. She wanted to approach someone to ask, but she wasn't the best at communication. She somehow ended up in a garden area, seemingly abandoned. It was nice and quiet, well kept for a school garden. She figured no one was here because it was the first day and students were busy finding their classes.
Echo decided to take a break and look at the map again, thinking maybe she had missed something. She sat under a large tree in the center of the garden, staying out of the heat. Looking at the map, she noticed her homeroom was circled on the creased paper when she realized she was on the complete opposite side of the campus. She would no doubt be late for her homeroom. She thought about if it was even worth trying to make it at this point, or if she should just relax and wait for the next class to start. She mulled over the idea sitting against the base of the large tree.

Kora heard the last bell ring for first period as she circled a garden area, wishing to just get lost in a labyrinth or under a willow tree instead of getting lost on words in text books. As she second guessed her choice to skip, something caught her eye, another student sitting against a tree.
Slowly, Kora made her way to the tree, weaving in and out of other plants. The other student didn't look much younger than her. A fun idea came to her suddenly. She sat behind a bush, closed her eyes, silenced her mind and opened her third eye - allowing her mind and soul to leave her body.
She floated undetected toward the top of the tree where the other student sat. As she descended toward the student, she found herself face to face with another, older student.
Shocked from her new finding - she found herself back in her physical body. Standing up, she made her way to the tree, looking at Echo then up at Cloud. "Is this where skippers hide?" Kora asked.

Cloud dropped down from the tree and took the map without asking. She noticed the circled room and gave the map back.
"No" she told Kora "She's lost and so are you apparently. Nobody comes here"
Cloud didnt particularly look inviting. Her jeans were baggy, faded, and there was a hole in the knee of one leg. Her t shirt was loose on her too and dark blue. Her black hair was short and flipped over to one side of her head. It hung partially in her face and the layers made it look messy.
"I can get you to your class" she told Echo
Cloud folded her wing over her shoulder. It was pure white and was so large it was above her head even while folded. The tips of her wing sat at her toes.

Echo was taken aback by both students. She thought she was completely alone in the garden. She looked up at Cloud, who just dropped from the giant tree she was under. Her eyes wide and focused mainly on her wing. She stood up, her short stature only coming up to right above Cloud's stomach. Echo looked at Kora, slightly relieved that she was a bit closer to her age but still startled as she came from a bush, almost out of nowhere.
Taking the map back from Cloud, she grabbed the map and walked hastily to the other side of the massive tree. Echo didn't really know how to express that she was lost, and she wasn't used to being around people. She peeked around at Cloud and Kora, her face turning a bright red as her shyness and social anxiety got the best of her. She thought about running and hiding, but she did need to get to her class.

"Nobody comes here my a**." Kora whispered, while watching Echo hide behind the tree. "You okay? I think she offered to help find your class, it's not like she's offering candy." Kora smirked.

"A bit overwhelming this place" Cloud shrugged "You better follow me. They don't mind late for the first week but not showing up isn't good"
She gave Kora a small warning look since her statement applied to her too. Cloud nodded her head toward the entrance to the garden and started walking away. She glanced over her shoulder to see if Echo was coming. If she wasn't followed she'd simply go to the cafeteria for breakfast.

Echo watched as Cloud and Kora walked off. She waited a bit before following, keeping her distance. Her shyness always got the best of her so she trailed behind, not making a sound. The surroundings were overwhelming; the towering buildings and hundreds of students hastily trying to make it to their destination made Echo want to go to her dorm and not leave, but she needed to get used to it. If what Cloud said was true, it would be a bad idea to miss class.

As they walked along the paths outside many of the students were quick to get out of the way. Whole groups of students who had been having lively conversations among themselves fell silent as Cloud passed.
Cloud didn't pay any attention to it at all. She just kept walking, only stopping once or twice to make sure Echo was still keeping up. They were not following a direct path. Instead she took Echo down pathways and such that were not well known at times. When they reached the correct building it was the same thing inside. Most of the students hugged the walls and only whispered to themselves as she passed.
Cloud stopped outside Echo's homeroom.
"Here" Cloud said gently and gestured with her hand to the room.

Echo looked around as she followed Cloud. The reactions of the other students around made her even more nervous. Seeing them all stare and move out of her way was unlike anything Echo had seen, it was as if Cloud had an aura around her that instilled fear in those within a certain proximity of her. When they arrived to the classroom, Echo stopped before entering. She looked up at Cloud. Something didn't make sense. The expression on her face was gentle and kind, yet people seemed to fear her. Echo looked around her, the other students silent as they watched. She nodded and gave Cloud a slight smile as thanks, and entered the classroom, finding a seat near the back.

Kora followed Cloud in silence after her quick warning glance. While she wanted to take in the school and other students, it was hard not to wonder about the glances. At least she knew who to be around and where to find Cloud if she needed to avoid others. It would come in handy for practicing her abilities.
"Here." Cloud's voice brought Kora outta her head. She barely noticed Echo as she passed by and vanished into the room. It happened to be her home room as well.
"What do they do if you skip?" Kora asked, dreading walking in. Her heart started racing, remembering how the nuns "disciplined" her when she'd day dream - accidently leaving her body at first till she figured out how to leave on her own for short bursts of time. "Or don't have full control... They won't discipline me will they?" She could feel her nerves like electric currents under her skin.
