Route 1 - daytime initial encounter before knowing tauros charge
1. Ledyba
2. Pikipek
3. Yungoos
4. Grubbin
5. Caterpie
6. Pichu
7. Buneary
After the first trial and SOS battles are unlocked, you can find these pokemon on the same route during the day, as SOS pokemon
8. Happiny
9. Pikachu
Same route but at night, the new pokemon are
10. Rattata
11. Spinarak
After learning tauros charge and breaking through the rocks connecting the rest of route 1 main area, you can find these new pokemon
12. Bonsly
13. Rockruff
14. Munchlax

Ledyba evolves into Ledian at level 18. Keep in initial party until that happens.
Pikipek evolves into Trumbeak at level 14 and then into toucannon at level 28.
Yungoos evolves into Gumshoos at level 20, but it has to be daytime for it to evolve.
Grubbin evolves into Charjabug at level 20 and then into vikavolt on blush mountain. Blush Mountain is located on Ula'Ula Island between the mantine surf spot and route 12.
Caterpie evolves into metapod at level 7 and then into butterfree at level 10.
Pichu evolves into pikachu with high affection and then into raichu via thunder stone.
Buneary does not evolve.
Happiny must be holding the oval stone to evolve and keep it at high affection for it to evolve both times. It will become a chansey and then a blissey. You do NOT have to go to Poni Island to catch a chansey if you catch a Happiny. Saves you time.
Rattata evolves into raticate at level 20, but it has to be night time for it to evolve.
Spinarak evolves into ariados at level 22.
Bonsly evolves into sudowoodo once it learns mimic.
Rockruff evolves into lycanroc at level 25.
Munchlax evolves into Snorlax with high affection.

In Brooklet hill, during the night, you can catch Morelull. Morelull evolves into Shiinotic. Morelull can know flash, which lowers the opponent's accuracy. You can also catch a Poliwag. Poliwag is a water type Pokemon. It evolves into Poliwhirl, then either into Poliwrath or politoed. A third pokemon you can catch here is Surskit. Surskit evolves into Masquerain. It is a bug and water type. Just like dewpider, which evolves into araquanid. There is a rumor you can catch a feebas via fishing at the totem's den, but I have yet to prove it.
