After a very long night of partying, Roxanne was glad to be home and in her own room. She kicked off her heels, with a huge sigh of relief, throwing them across the room. Setting her tote bag on the bed, she started undressing, unzipping her gown and letting it pool around her feet. Carefully picking it up and putting it on a hangar, the young girl stretched and yawned sleepily. “Oh man, tonight was amazing.” She giggled to herself, “Shame I didn’t meet prince charming.”

Digging around in her closet, Roxy pulled out an overly large T-shirt with a jack-o-lantern on it and tossed it onto the bed, eagerly stripping off her uncomfortable bra and scratching at the red skin in relief. “Ahhh.” Pleased to be out of that irritating piece of clothing, she grabbed her shirt and pulled it on, going to her computer and sitting down.

A moment later, loud pop music began to play as she clicked away, looking up what her friends were doing and writing to them about her event at the party.

As the teenager chatted away online, the tote bag began to stir. The crinkling of the cellophane wrapper couldn’t be heard over the young woman’s music. Spider-like legs and little demonic shapes began crawling from the bag, skittering over the pink blankets. With little plops they dropped to the white carpeting, fighting their way across the fake fur rug and straight towards the oblivious human.

Roxy happily sang along with one of her favorite songs, grinning as she excitedly told one of her closest friends about the amazing dresses and used her phone to post some of the photos she took. She lifted her legs up and sat cross legged in the chair, just narrowly avoiding the little monsters crawling up her leg.

It didn’t take much before the little youmalings began stacking on top of one another, climbing up to the back of the computer chair and finally onto the back of the pink haired innocent teen.

After hitting enter, Roxy sat back in her chair and felt more than heard the soft crunch of something. Startled, she jumped up only to see the little demons on the chair. “What the-“ But right before she started to panic, the ones on her back began to drain her energy. Frantically, the young woman tried to grab at her back, to get whatever it was off of her. “Ahhhh! Noo no no get off ew ew ew!”

Her movements began slowing, eyes drooping heavily, and the other candy monsters began climbing up her bare legs, sucking out more energy. Wearily, the young woman dropped to her knees, “Grosssss…” Then she face planted into her fluffy white rug, exhausted and sent into a deep nightmare fueled sleep she was too tired to wake up from.

Cackling, the little youmalings went back to their masters, having achieved their goal, and Roxy was rushed to the hospital when she was found unresponsive on her bedroom floor. It was days before she was able to wake again, and her body was weak. It would take time for her to recover, and all she could remember was the horrors of being attacked by candy monsters, chalked up to fevered dreams in her three day coma.
