StoryRajiv is the kind of gal that loves with falling in love, so it wasn't much a surprise when she fell for the charming and rather flirtatious mini. As for Vanille, he was fond of her company, but felt hesitant about how quickly she wanted to take their relationship... But, being a father before, he was confident he could do it again. And he was confident that he could handle three... Little did he know, Rajiv left a lovely bracelet gift to the spirits with a wish to be granted with a large family. And the spirits, delighted in the thoughtful gift, granted her an extra child for each of the eight beads.
Now with eleven children, these two will have their hooves full; luckily Vanille has a large family to help. Unfortunately, the large addition will scare off Vanille and will cause him to decide to break off his relationship with Rajiv and lead to a rift in the family. While most will stay with the Puff family, a few may take their leave with Rajiv. Where will your basket end up?
Parents
Rajiv (Mother)
Rajiv is the mother of this bundle. A true sweetheart, Rajiv is a loving pone that only wants the best for her children. Unless otherwise chosen, Rajiv will have a limited appearance in her childrens' life. She will be able to see and visit her kids as she pleases, but after Vanille leaves her, her broken heart will make her avoid the herd and only make rare visits.
Vanilla Cream "Vanille" Puff (Father)
Vanille is the father of the bundle. He's charismatic and flirtatious, and this ends with him being a bit of a heartbreaker. Already a father prior, he has experience with raising kids, but he'll definitely use the help of his siblings and parents to raise this small herd.Siblings

Baskets you're trying for...
Both are girls! (Infact, all of them are girls, minus my basket, which is the only boy)
This is a concept contest. (: Your job is to figure out where these girls end up.
Guidelines
-They must be with one of the parents; the baskets will NOT be orphaned or abandoned. Both sides are loving and would not do that.
-If they stay with the Puff family, they must have the Puff surname
-If they go with Rajiv, it is preferable that the name is Sanskrit (as Rajiv is Sanskrit), but not required.
-When they reach adulthood, they can choose to leave Puff herd/Rajiv at that time, or do whatever they wish.

Personality:
Temper:: Polite
Saadvi or Vi for short is polite and kind to all, smiles often and tries to make the best out of every situation. She finds and focuses on the positive, doesn’t take anything for granted and is open and generous to those less fortunate. She is always happy to see / meet others and will maintain eye contact, smile and will sometimes mimic behavior due to her being focused on what is being said. Due to her nature, she makes friends rather easily.
She is confident enough to be unafraid of showing vulnerability and searches constantly for agreement. She willingly admits her mistakes nor does she mind being a source of laughter, joy and happiness for others. Vi treats everyone the same way; deserving of respect and kindness. She likes to surprise others by remembering their name and some small details.
She refuses to gossip or even listen to it, will never push her opinions on others and compliments others when deserved. She is honest in all her relationships and visits Rajiv and Vanille on a regular basis. Growing up with many siblings has made her generous with her belongings; what she owns is not worth anything without others to share it with. She will never take out her problems on her loved ones.
She remembers her manners and will wait until everyone has food before she eats, bless you if you sneeze, say thank you, please and your welcome when needed. She considers others in decisions about how her actions will affect them. It’s not foreign for her to go the extra mile and make sure things get done properly. Entry: Vi will go with Rajiv but will still see both when she is older.
I'd love for Vi to go to Vanille one day to get his side of the story about what happened between him and Rajiv. Though his side of the story will not change her mind about loving both of them and visiting often.
After finding out Vanille's side of things, it will make her want to find her happy ending. Though it will be a happy ending with a twist; she loves having so many siblings./ such a big famiy. This will lead to her finding someone who will not run away and have a big family of her own.
Though along the way I'd like to have her experience some trials and tribulations to show her that love and life isn't as easy or positive as she believes it to be.
-possibly hears something about someone she grew to love only to find out they lie and cheat, etc
- being generous with her things, leads to someone stealing or breaking something she values highly ( possibly something given to her by her parents or one of them)
-someone takes advantage of her and doesn't realize it until its to late (could be that she was conned to do something only to hurt instead of help- i.e. being tricked into possibly stealing a basket from someone believing it to be stolen in the first place but in reality she stole to give it to a liar) This could lead to her taking care of the basket instead of handing it over to the liar.
- I'd like to see someone come along to test her politeness, honesty and patience.

Star is in a state of self-induced torture with the belief that her life is lacking something that others have. She doesn’t know exactly what it is nor where and how to find it. This results in her being envious and feeling incomplete while searching for something that will make her feel whole/ complete.
She enjoys showing others that there is something good to be found even in the darkest of moments. She also has a dark sense of humor – finding humor in tragedies and jokes that others will not laugh at because of the nature of the joke.
She longs for someone that can match her intensity; with her emotional highs and lows that can lead to her being labelled as a drama queen. She will respectively be closer to Vanille than Rajiv but loves them both all the same.
-I'd love for her to meet an individual or multiple ponies that can show her a new perspective on how to live life differently. I want her to grow and learn that she can find accomplishment and feel whole / complete through being honest to herself and others. Admitting how she really feels and embracing her passions and learning from others.
-Either through learning from others or meeting someone special, she will grow up and stop being such a hopeless romantic. She will still love love and feel intensely but will communicate better with others that she can rely on so that she doesn't get lost within her emotions.
-I'm not sure what could take place for her to be able to help others experience life as intensely as she but I would love for that to happen for her.

Name: Jalebi Puff ((These sweets.))
Personality: In public she's really shy but when she's alone with her siblings she's just as loud and rambunctious as the worst of them. Sugary sweet and extroverted, she will often go along with whatever her sisters or brother want to do just so she can be with them.
Entry: I think I would like her to stay with the Jiggly Puff side of the family since (judging by the names) that seems to be where most if not all of her siblings are staying. She's the sort that would cling to her family and become deeply jealous of anything that steals their attention away. This wouldn't become apparent until she was a little older though. A little bit of loneliness could end up being a major turning point for her character.

Name: Caramel Sugar Puff
Personality: Caramel is sweet and sticky, and gets into your teeth. This Puff is just like her name sake, sweet in a way that kinda sticks in one's mind.
She is a delight most of the time, however, too much sweetness can rot one's teeth, and the thing that rots with this puff is that she holds grudges.
Entry:
Caramel as a foal decides that she's got a need to stay with her mother rather than spending much time around her father.
When she first emerged from her basket, she adored her father, a true daddy's girl, however as she came to understand that he had broken her mother's heart a foul little hole of rot began to take root in her soul. She simply couldn't understand why her father had left her mother. They were perfect together, who would have thought they'd never stick it out?
Caramel became distant from her father, waiting every moment she could to spend time with her mother instead, some days even avoiding him. She couldn't help but want to lash out at him, she simply didn't understand why he hadn't worked harder.
Soon enough Caramel was begging to go with her mother, unable to be anything other than spiteful towards her father. She didn't mean to be, but the grudge she held against him only fed an sour demeanor around him.
She was no longer a daddy's girl, but a mama's girl with bitterness that she did not like.

As she grows, I'd like Caramel to come to understand why her father broke things off, and the grudge to lessen, but it would take time, and lots of learning on her part. A room for growth type character if you will.

Personality: Vibrant
Entry: Rainbow will go with Vanille because she is strongly drawn to Vanille's magnetic and charismatic nature. Rainbow is energetic and loves to have fun. She looks up to her father very much and enjoys following him around and stepping on his tail with her hooves for giggles. She hopes to one day grow up and be as magnetic and alluring as Vanille is. Rainbow loves and respects her mother and cannot help pouncing on her when she makes surprise visits. Though she is saddened by her mother not being part of Vanille's herd, the life she leads with Vanille and his herd is almost everything she knows. When Rainbow becomes an adult, she will seek out Rajiv and try to get closer to her.

Kashvi Meaning: "Shining" in Sanskrit, her chosen name.
Personality: Kind, graceful and joyous, she brings light into the lives of those who need it most.
Entry: This little filly will be raised by the Puffs amidst her large family, growing to be a sweet and caring mare who just wishes for all to feel the joy of the family she has known. When she learns of her mother's fate, she will venture forth from the Puff family to seek out the mare who wished for a large family and was left with few, if not none, of the children she so desired. She will take on the name Kashvi, a Shining beacon of hope and renewal, though she will still use her given name as she does cherish the Puffs who raised her.
She will (hopefully) bridge the gap between families as an adult, serving to connect the children as she travels between those who stayed and those who left, mending bonds so that siblings need not be strangers.
And she will, perhaps, help to heal her mother's broken heart.

She will stay with Mother (it's just too tragic that the one who wished for more children should end up with none at all), though I would like to think that her kindness and willingness to listen and understand as she matures would help mend the rift, just a little, so that she and the other wished-for children might know each other later in life.

Name: Mohana (bewitching, infatuating, charming in sanskrit)
Personality: Mohana is a bit of a charmer and somewhat of a seductress when it comes to the males. She's all for whispering sweet nothings into their ears. She's not an evil pony, she only wants gifts. It doesn't matter what the gift is, so long as its a gift and not something gross. Despite all the gifts, Mohana will tend to leave the boys hanging.
She loves the scent of flowers. Whenever she finds some, she'll rub them on her pelt to make sure she smells her best. Mohana does her best to idealize grace and class. She wants to be the pony every pony wants to know.
Entry: Mohana will decided to go with her mother. It's nice to be around her family, but she can't flirt with them. I'd really love for her to visit and perhaps be looked down upon for her flirtatious ways. XD It could be funny to see some of her puff family trying to put her on the "straight and narrow" path.
She will try to cheer her mother up from her broken heart by showing her the gifts and trinkets the males give her.

Personality: Shakuntala is one who earns her name, like any good fairy tale heroine. Curious, determined, kind, affectionate, and positive-minded, Shakuntala wants to experience the world around her, even if it doesn't always go all right. If it's something she really wants, and things don't go fine the first time, she generally wants to give it a second go, to see if she gets it right the second time around. Has a particular fondness for birds and flight, as well as bizarre food.
Entry: Shakuntala will absolutely go with Rajiv, wanting to see where her mother would go, to be able to give her mother all the nuzzles in the world, since Rajiv seems so alone. She'll probably move on after she grows up, but start off by visiting her Puff kin, and even afterward, popping by to see how everyone's getting on periodically, on both sides.
Beyond her family, I think I wanna see Shakuntala go on difficult quests, and fail hard at something she tries, like a romantic relationship, particularly since she wonders whether Rajiv should try things again with Vanilla Cream Puff. Not just fail the first time, but fail the second time, because it was something that frankly wasn't going to work out, and she gets in trouble for trying to force her desires on others. Something that Shakuntala won't just have to work hard at, and presto, overcome, but something she'll have to accept as a limit, and grow from that low point of realizing she screwed up big time.

Personality: Sultry
Lalita knows how charming she can be and uses it fully to her advantage. She will often flirt and flaunt because 'she's got it'. Her biggest strength is her confidence, but it's also her biggest flaw - causing her to come off to others as extremely self-centered.
Entry: Lalita stayed with her father and the herd. She learned much of her behavior by watching her father. As a foal, it never occurred to her how hurtful her behavior could be. She'd often ply other ponies with sweet compliments just so they would agree to play the game she wanted to play,
or explore the area where she wanted to go to. As she entered adulthood,
her methods changed a bit...to the point that she was twisting every mares and stallions young head and often their heart.
Plot ideas: If one or more of her siblings from the herd decide to visit their mother then I'd like for Lalita to join them. And on this journey she begins to see the effects of her flamboyant behavior - pointed out from her mother and siblings. Obviously it won't be an instant turn-around. But it will have made a difference, she will finally become conscious of her behavior towards others.
This new knowledge will eventually lead to her falling in love...and having (yet another) fling. She feels like it will last forever, but it doesn't. And only then does she truly learn how badly she had hurt her past lovers/flings.

Oh bother! This little girl is eternally pessimistic, often putting off simple tasks because it's simply not going to work. She's pensive but loving, always trying to find some sort of positivity somewhere. It will prove a difficult task.
Entry: Delicia will go with the Puff family.
She will try as hard as she can to break the pessimism she experiences, not realizing it's just who she is. She does find joy in things like her family and her friends. But somehow, there's always a catch and Delicia is the best at finding the worse in any situation.

Personality: Brazen
Bam! Yalani will always be right in your face, either challenging you to a race or telling you the most interesting stick she found out in the woods. Not paying attention to her is not an option. You will hear what she has to say, and there is no shame in her game.
Entry: Yalani will go with her mother's herd.
Yalani just loves to sing, terribly might I add, to anyone that will listen. She isn't much of a dancer, but she sure is bold. She doesn't seem to be bothered by anything, often trying to speak to her mother and cheer her up. Yalani doesn't take no for an answer, and always tries to be the center of attention. Eventually she will mellow out, but still desires to bring attention to herself, one way or the other.

Name: Strawberry Cannoli Puff
Personality: Cannoli is much like her father, a flirty and solicitous lady with a flare for the theatrical. She enjoys putting a dramatic spin on all aspects of life and loves nothing more than a spectacle. She's a master of overreacting in the most dramatic of fashions. While on the outside she may seem flighty and superficial she is in actuality a fierce and loyal friend who loves those around her with ferocity and courage.
Entry: She will remain with the puffs for the majority of her life, until she reaches adulthood and her wanderlust takes hold. She will always be drawn back home of course, but she has too much passion for life to remain in one place too long. She will seek her mother's company from time to time and will make new friends wherever she may roam. While she may roam and flutter from place to place she retains a fierce loyalty to all the kind soquili she comes into contact with and will circle back to places she's been to renew these friendships as often as she might.
