Physical Build: Slender, though can pack a punch, Dezaira holds a rather intricate tattoo on her upper right arm. Her left has been unscathed, and if she were to flex one would see how strong she potentially is. Her legs are truly the stars of the show, and it can be seen that she possibly works out daily. At her current age, she is rather large when shifted. Her red hair does not follow her when she shifts, rather she grows snowy white and her tribal tattoo flows into her coat
Weight: 146lbs
Height: 5'8
Hair Color: Fiery red
Eye Color/Distinctions: Piercing blue
Scars/piercings/markings: A tribal-esque tattoo on her upper right arm. Dez also has a scar, possibly from burning, on the right side of her face toward the base of her ear going out to her cheek. It is unknown if this discoloration is from a birthmark, or from a long forgotten wound. Usually one thinks of the latter seeing as Shifters heal quite fast, but no one is bold enough to ask her at the academy. She also has four piercings going up her ear
Habits: General use of sarcasm
Personality: Dez would like to think herself calm on numerous occasions, but her hot headedness gets in the way of that most of the time. She's quick to attack someone if they're too pigheaded and she's not in the mood, and will rarely listen to a stupid idea if it's- well- stupid. She's one to take charge and if that is usurped by a weaker individual, or at least one she deems weaker than herself, then the sparks fly. She's more loud and disagreeable than really disliking or hating the other person however, and can be seen getting a drink or having a chat with one of them in the academy. Of course this hard headedness was a progressive emotional standpoint from her years of slavery in the Capital, but that is for another time.
Biography: Dezaira's cognitive life started when she was born to Anzu Delemarkus of the Solar faction. Not that she ever knew such a community, as the moment she could walk she was inside of a majestic mansion with her own playmate. Her mother was never truly seen by the girl, always on errands or doing the house chores, but she had another parental figure: another mother, as it were.
This other mother was kind enough, harming the girl when she did not play with the other child, but giving affection when Dez least expected it. A cruel relationship, a broken relationship. It was all Dez knew after all, and year after year of servitude devolved into being a good servant. She barely knew her true mother, and instead learned to love the torture her other mother would inflict upon her. There was love there, whatever the wolf thought could be love, and she felt the same for the other child as well. A girl that was Dez's age, that was raised by Anzu until she could walk on her own- much like the wolf. They had a connection, a love that was unspoken, even a closeness that was not seen in many other households. It was nice, for a time, and she adopted the other families name: Corvus.
It was soon apparent there was rage inside of the girl. When she was inside of the mansion, she could keep it at bay, but when she would shift so that the other child's feet would not touch the ground outside, the looks and degradation that she was subjugated to... it released this rage. When her other mother put her through such feelings, it was warranted- she deserved such punishment. But others did not know her, others had no right to step on her paws or pull her tail. They would put the other child in danger of falling, those graceful feet touching the disgusting ground. She grew to hate those people. She grew hard, dismissive, and her rage was fueled onward.
That rage was acceled when she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was a good wolf, a good servant, but she was ignorant of the depths humans would sink. Dezaira was on an errand, one that her family entrusted her with for years at this point. The marketplace was large, but one could tell who the Shifters were as they were made to wear certain attire that marked them as such. She was a perfect target for a human that needed to get rid of a certain powder. Someone crying wolf, a bruised Dezaira and many tackles later, the contraband was found on her. It wouldn't have mattered so highly if the contraband powder was not connected to a recent slew of murders inside of the Capital. It would not have mattered if she wasn't a mongrel wolf. No, it wouldn't have mattered to those humans...
Dezaira's execution was stayed as her lover, the other child, came forth to defend the wolf. A moment of clarity from the rage that had been building glossed over her eyes, but not for long. She wasn't pardoned, well not in any sane person's eyes. Forced to leave the Capital was her only option, banishment to the other territories. For someone who lived in moderate luxury for their entire life, it was practically a death sentence. The other child could do no more, not even the other mother could overturn the judgement, but it was passed all the same. Dezaira was not executed, she was still alive, so that was something... right?
Right...
