Regan didn't get many request of the company of the pack, which was fine. She was the more hidden in the shadows member. The quiet keep to herself member. Of all of the group, she felt probably closest to Chase and Chase alone. Prissy was more....dazzling. Suri was more serious. Trey was still so new.
It was different then the older packmates. With Wolfe, there had been mutual respect for the effective brutal ways. With Tour there had been....well not much really. Tourmaline had left before Adamantine could even make herself worth something.
Silk had joined though, and she suddenly had a friend of friends among the group. The small kitten had taken a shining to her, and to be honest, Regan felt safe and comfortable with the smaller life form. He couldn't hurt her (more then she was already damaged) and it fulfilled a hole of having a friend and sometimes a pet she desperately had wanted as a child. Not that she thought of Silk as a pet, just.....
He was cute.
So she had been surprised that the small kitten had asked her out in Chase's house. Like to hang out and stuff. He had said something about going on a walk to the park or something, and Regan didn't mind. Fresh air was probably good.
Plus she could feel the air changing. Spring was coming and a walk outside would do wonders.

He wasn't exactly sure what he was doing. He did know a few things for certain. He wanted to hang out with Regan because she was really nice and stuff, but he also wanted to show off his human form he had achieved. So why not kill two birds with one stone? After talking it over with his sister, she had offered to mask his signature, and while he hated feeling like he owed her, he kind of did now. "So you good to stay in the bushes and stuff?" The kitten asked his sister, currently in his human form at the entrance to the park he had asked Regan to meet him. His tail was tucked underneath his large and over sized tunic top to hide it, and he had managed to snag a large newsboy cap from a store (read as: steal) to hide his ears. Bare feet aside, Lace assured him he looked like a real human boy. Silk crossed his arms, peering at his still kitten formed sister. "...When are you gonna get your human form, huh?"

"I'm going to stay in the bushes." Lace affirmed, as she looked over at the human joining them. She wasn't sure why it was important to her brother to show this one his human form but it didn't really bother her. "Maybe soon? I don't know." She wasn't even sure how Silk got his but if he had one, she had one too! And what would Sera think of that?
Regan came over, expecting to see a cat, her head whipping back and forth. She was at the park, but where was Silk? There was just a small boy here...a small boy without shoes but still.
Maybe she should sit down on one of the benches or something?

"Okay---" Silk froze as he caught sight of Regan coming into the park, and he wasn't sure why, but he got...kind of nervous all of a sudden. That just made him kind of annoyed, too. He scoffed to himself, and didn't bother replying to Lace anymore since his friend was here. He bent to pick up a white lily he had also stolen from another store, because...on the television guys were always giving girls flowers! Regan was a girl, and he was a guy sooo~ He moved to trail after the young woman. "H-hey, Regan!" He was further annoyed that his voice hitched a bit, and grumbled to himself. This was totally ruining his grand reveal of his human form!

Regan's head turned to the young boy who called out to her and her head cocked.
She didn't know....young boys. She didn't think she did? But the voice sounded like Silk so she came over and looked at him.
"Silk?" She bent down to meet the cat boys eyes and really look at him, confusion on her face. "You're...You're a human?" The lily was noticed last because she didn't understand was happening. When did Silk become a human?

It was really starting to get even more annoying that he felt even more nervous when she noticed him and he didn't know why. But then he just got more annoyed with himself, and wasn't going to put up with that, so he puffed out his chest and stood as haughtily as he could. "Yeah!" He told her. "I was able to do get a human form because I've worked really hard!" Okay, that was kind of debatable, but whatever. "I mean, I can't do it all the time, but sometimes, I can!" He trailed off for a moment, and looked a little sour as he admitted, "If I'm gonna do it out here though, I need another cat to cover my signature, because stupid people can find me otherwise." Not wanting to dwell on that for too long, he instead finally held out the lily and shoved it at her, not looking. "Th-this is for you! Because like---boys gives girls this stuff all the time!"

Regan couldn't tell the cat boy was getting annoyed, she was more dumbfounded that the small kitten was a boy and the boy was giving her a flower. Her face flushed for just a minute, embarrassment and something warm pitting in her stomach.
It was...It was just so sweet, and something she had never experienced before. Her hand nervously closed around the flower and she looked at it with a bit of a wide eye glance before it melted back to her normal one.
"You are the best." She nodded in affirmation, her gaze turned to where his went, noticing the twin form of the kitten in the bushes. They must have large auras, if they required other cats to hide them. A hand came out to brush at his face.
"The hat is to hide ears?" She looked at it, "Is it uncomfortable? Do you want to find somewhere with..." She looked at the small couple of people wandering around. "Less people?"

"O-of course I'm the best!" Of course, any ounce of dignity he might have retained with that statement went out the window when she brushed his face. It was just really different when you were a kitten vs. being a human. The boy jolted, and felt this really weird feeling in his stomach. What was the stupid expression? Like there were butterflies? Ugh. He was gonna tear those little bastards out and--- "Yeah---it's fine!" He piped up. "I can still hear better than humans so---it's whatever." Silk turned towards the park, and did decide that everything did look different when you could actually see it more...human eye-level than kitten level. "So let's go!" He grabbed her hand, the one that wasn't holding the flower, and pulled on her arm so that they could start walking in the park. Which is what humans did together apparently. They were kind of weird.

She would've smiled at him, had she the capabilities to actually form a consistent smile, but instead, she just followed after him. She wasn't sure why he jolted, but chalked that up to having a new body perhaps? She didn't want to scare him.
"Long as you're okay." She added and then stared at their hands together and just cocked her head. Why were humans...why were people always holding hands? She didn't mind, because Silk was someone she trusted a lot.
"S...so." She said nervously as they started to walk, her gaze carefully trained on Silk and the Kitten that scurried in the bushes to keep Silk's aura at bay.
"Do...Do you like this form?"

What was it humans did when walking on the park? Oh yeah. They stayed on the path. Silk made sure to do so, even if that also felt weird. And dumb. When you were a cat you could go wherever you want! "I think so." He replied, but then decided that that wasn't exactly a confident answer, and added, "Just takes some getting used to! But I like having thumbs." He told her seriously. "It makes eating corn dogs and using the microwave easier." He paused for a moment, glancing for his sister out of the corner of his eye. "And with this form I could help more when you work on bikes and cars and stuff!" He exclaimed. "Better than just pushing stupid nuts or bolts around." Which was really the only thing he could do unless he started hiding tools in Negaspace and brought them to her that way. That was a lot of air flipping to do though.

Regan was just still trying to figure out how to act with Silk right now. It kind of seem like he was doing a small date, and he was so young looking but adorable, so it made her want to go along with it and stuff.
She didn't think cats and mauvians could date though right? Also did that mean Theodore had a human form?
"Thumbs help a lot in this world." She added to the conversation, smiling lightly at the idea of him probably stuffing his face with the food. "Help me?"
She stopped and then tugged on his hand, bringing him to a stop.
"You'd still want to help me? Don't you think I'm well...." She thought of the word that suited best...."Boring?"

Regan came to a stop, and Silk was still steadily marching forward, so the motion jerked on his arm. "Ack---" He teetered and wobbled a bit, but managed to keep himself upright. He spun on a heel to stare at the young woman to see why she stopped, and then just stared at her. He stared at her for a long while with a look that clearly said are you crazy? "Boring?" Silk echoed after a moment. "Where the hell did you get that stupid idea? You're not boring at all!" He exclaimed, planting his free fist on his hip as he stared at her, his gaze narrowing. "Who said that?" His golden eyes suddenly widened. "Was it Prissy!? Snoreadore!? I'll go beat them both up!" He actually sounded a little too eager about the possibility it was them, so that he could go do something about it.

She didn't know what else to say. There was very little people she knew who truly enjoyed her company. Chase, their general, was one of them. Perhaps cause he was the more silent contemplating type. That was comforting in itself. Silk was more energy, more...more blunt.
"No. No it wasn't them." Prissy and Theodore were well...they're own thing.
"I'm crazy about cars." She said again, "Not a lot of people seem to interested in that. I don't know about....fashion trends or....fun games or things like that."
She shrugged, "It was like that in school too."

Underneath the hat, his ears wilted briefly in disappointment. " Are you sure it wasn't them?" Chase said he had to play nice, so no running off to beat anyone up--- unless he had good reason. "I don't know stupid fashion or games either." Silk shrugged both his shoulders dismissively. "And if I didn't like you and what you do, then I wouldn't hand around you." He told her bluntly. "So working on cars with you is cool!" Since she had no other reason to stop, Silk started to walk again, tugging on her hand once more. "Oh. You go to school? The humans on t.v. do that a lot, and Chase told me about grade school and colleges and stuff."

"Pretty sure." She looked at him, "Maybe some day you can fight them." She pulled a little on his sleeve though, "But we're suppose to be part of a pack....so you could also....not?" Not that she could truly tell Silk what to do, he was, at the end of the day, General Labyrinthites cat.
"Oh." It was just so simple to him, and she had to accept that it was...well just simply that way. There was nothing complicated with Silk, and it didn't have to be complicated. And she didn't have to be complicated with him.
"Yeah. I went to school." She continued walking with him, squeezing her hand. "What do you think of the humans that go to school on T.V.?"
