....you think you know me?
As Edge's trademark 'You think you know me' was heard, the fans cheered as 'Metalingus' followed the sentence. The crowd came to life as Metalingus was playing throughout the arena. Smoke rose from the mouth of the ramp. For a few seconds, it rose, with the fans waiting for him to go through it. After a fair amount of smoke came out, Edge walked through it, with his shades on. Edge was sporting his famous trench coat as well. Edge grinned and looked at the crowd while walking down the ramp. He flickered his wrists while walking. Edge ceased walking halfway down the ramp. He slid his hair back with his right hand while planting his feet apart. Edge lowered his head down, with his hair hanging. Edge waited for the queue..
[Lillian Garcia: FROM TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, WEIGHING 245 POUNDS.... THE RATED-R SUPERSTAR!!!! EEEDGGEEEE~!]
After being introduced to the crowd. Edge quickly rose like a phoenix, throwing his arms in the air, making devil horns whilst pyro shot from the stage, Edge making a war cry while taunting. After a few seconds, Edge lowered his arms and continued walking down the ramp. Edge stopped and gave his shades to a kid in the crowd. A few feet from the ring, Edge ran to the ring and slid in, laying down head down for a few moments. Edge sprung up and walked to a corner. He got on the turnbuckle and made another pair of devil horns.
The crowd was going wild, as this was Edge's first time in the ring since his retirement match against Sting at WAR's Pay-Per-View event, Hard Justice. He had mixed feelings, as he never thought he'd be in front of a live crowd once again, but here he was. Edge circled the squared circle, assimilating what was going on. Was he really here, in the place he had left behind years ago? He finally stood still, his eyes scanning the people in front of him. Some had seen him wrestle during his prime, others hadn't heard of him up until now. The lights dimmed, a spotlight solely lit the ring, emphasizing the importance of the events about to happen. Edge was handed a microphone by a CWF official. He looked into the microphone, not believing what he had in his right hand. After observing his microphone, he looked at the crowd, his expression serious and his eyes staring into the crowd. You could tell that many emotions were conflicting inside Edge. Once the crowd noticed his intentions to begin speaking, they'd quiet down, their noise soon dying out within seconds.
"To be damn honest with you, I never thought I'd step inside a ring again. Since I'm here right now, I wanna say something important!"
Edge lowers his microphone, circles the ring swiftly as he looked at the crowd. He walked to the center once more.
"GUESS WHO'S BAAACK?!"
Edge yelled into the microphone, some fans in the crowd popped for the returning Rated-R Superstar.
"It sure feels great to be back. To be honest, being retired was getting boring. Sure, living the sweet life is great and all, but, damn it, I'm not the kind of man that likes to sit on his a** and do absolutely nothing! So I decided to get myself in the gym, kick my own a** into shape, because I'd decided on something..."
Edge lowered his microphone once more. For a few seconds, he looked into the crowd.
"The Rated-R Superstar is COMING HOME! This isn't TNWE... or F, or R, no, this is isn't a promotion full of two-bit, untalented, egocentric, overrated panzies! No, this is CWF and this is my HOME!"
The crowd pops for a few moments.
"Now, they say the best face the best here. Despite my absence, I'm going to prove that the Rated-R Superstar is still among the elite, and I'll do so by facing whoever, whenever, wherever... I'm ready for any one of you back in those locker rooms!"
Edge's theme song came on as he closed his promo with enthusiasm, excited to be back.
