Pao -
"Hey, Merry Christmas," Rhys greeted, voice toned down and sounding much less enthused compared to the other two, but he had a bright smile on his face that said otherwise. At the welcome Rhys went ahead and took the first step inside, giving Seren's hand a squeeze as he led her in, in hopes of comforting her and helping her relax if she still needed it.
"You just havin' a quiet Christmas, too, or what?"
Aria -
Dai chuckled at the question. "Well, yeah. I mean, other then you two, I know 'Green'... By the way, Seren, what is that guy's name? You never said?" His tone was rather more interested then just for the need to say thanks or something. "And my neighbor, Tzei. She's an... odd one, but very interesting. Have you met her? Anyways, since I didn't want to just drop by and risk interrupting anything..." He waggles his brows at them. "I figured I'd wait, and if you two didn't contact me before dinner time, I'd text you."
He gave a shrug, then invited them in, and gestured at some floor pillows to invite them to sit, while he went and dug out two packages.
_________________________________________________________________
Seren followed Rhys in, grateful for his supportive behavior, and tilted her head to listen. By the time Dai was done speaking, her jaw had dropped, and she was gaping like a fish out of water, utterly stunned by the implications of some of what Dai had said. Finally, she walked over to a pillow, and dropped bonelessly onto it, staring at Dai. Every so often, she gave Rhys a 'MY BRAIN HAS BROKEN, HELP' look.
Pao -
Rhys settled in beside her, giving her hand another squeeze when she gave him that helpless sort of look. Honestly he wasn't sure he'd ever seen that look on her face before, but now that it was there it just filled him with the urge to pull her in and go into full on comforting mode. But in front of her brother?
Leaning over, he whispered, "You're fine, babe. He's older and knows things now, can't help it." And then he kissed her cheek and glanced over at the younger Yong sibling.
"Wait, who's 'Green'? And no, I've never met Tzei. Or any of the new hunters aside from you, really. Are there more?"
Aria -
Seren managed to pull herself together with Rhys' help, but she was still trying to deal with the idea that her brother found Nash hot. That part had thrown her for a bigger loop then she really would have expected. Somehow, she had expected that her brother was straight, totally. Apparently not, and now she was finding this out. She gave Rhys a grateful smile, though.
"Green is Nash... November Flynn. You met him at Dares, remember? I think..." She squinched up her face in thought for a moment, then nodded. "Yeah. He's the one who dared you to propose to me, that night. And the dude who that lunatic Lawrence and his lunatic husband went after on Halloween, when he was hanging out with Melvin. I don't know Tzei, though."
_________________________________________________________________
Dai arched a brow, listening to all of this. "Dares? Like Truth or Dare? And wait, he had Rhys propose to you? Were you guys dating already? How long ago was this?" Dai spammed the questions, not caring how many he had to ask to get the details, because his expression made it pretty damn clear he was curious. "And Star... Sorry, I'm a Big Boy now... And all that comes with it." He gave her a teasing grin.
"As for how many of us there are, I have no idea. I mean. I've just listed the people I've met? Anyways, Tzei is... interesting. I think, from some of what she's said, she might have been part of a Triad..."
Pao -
He made an "o" with his mouth, sort of making the connection now. Mention of that proposal, though, had him wrinkle his nose a little bit. It was one of his more embarrassing moments, really, and one that involved her turning him down. Which obviously made the most sense at the time, but there was still that small part of his ego that couldn't let it go.
"Yeah, truth or dare," he answered, choosing to focus on the barrage of questions. "He did have me propose, no we weren't dating, and it was...three months ago?" He glanced over at Seren, hoping she had more of a solid answer for how long ago this was.
Aria -
"Dares only, babe. No truths." She said, calmly, leaning into him. "Annnnnnd that was August. Four months? Something like that. I hadn't been awake too long, I do recall that." She sighed and hugged him close, her head on his shoulder. She knew it still bothered him that he'd been turned down, but... Neither of them had wanted it, then. And at the time he'd been grateful. She wished he could get past it, but she accepted that it was what it was.
"It was not something either of us were ready to even BEGIN to think about. I hadn't even realized I found him seriously attractive yet. I was too busy finding my feet to think about it, honestly." She sighed and then added "And yes, I can see you're a Big Boy. Doesn't mean I'm not still getting used to this fact."
_________________________________________________________________
"Dares only? Interesting." He came over and set the boxes down in front of each of them, then found his own pillow to sit on. "I hope you both like them, it took some arranging." The box in front of Rhys was of a decent size, perhaps shoe box sized. Seren's was even longer, though more slender.
Pao -
"Four months," he nodded at the correction, giving her hand a squeeze as thanks. "And yeah, we met like...once or twice on duty? So not something either of us were thinkin' about." It was amazing how much could really change in four months, though. He turned and gave her a kiss to the top of her head, smiling as he settled on that thought instead.
He set his eyes on the box Dai set in front of him soon enough, curious as he pulled out a little box and set it in front of Dai in sort of a gift exchange fashion. "Wasn't sure what to get you. Sorry if it's a little lame."
Aria -
"Pod day... Sun training... Yeah, then Dares." She nodded in agreement, her eyes thoughtful, then she gave Rhys a soft smile at the kiss, the fingers of the hand holding his giving his hand a gentle squeeze. She sat up, and pulled Dai's gift out. It was slender, and longish. "Merry Christmas from me, Dai. I'm still trying to get to know Adult You, so I wasn't totally sure what to get you." She sounded slightly anxious.
She began to open the box in front of her, and her jaw dropped as a silk kimono-shirt was revealed. It was deep blue, and had silver and pale blue flower pattern markings on it. "Oh wow..." She whispered.
_________________________________________________________________
Dai nodded slowly, beginning to get a picture of how they'd gotten to meet each other, and thus how they'd come to be together. He grinned and began to open the box from his sister. He blinked as he found a very nice set of scented candles in Amber and Lavender, with a very chic looking crystal and silver candle holder. "Very nice... I can see uses for both of these scents."
He then moved onto the box from Rhys, and when he opened it to find the earrings inside, he grinned at the other man. "Very nice. I appreciate it, actually. Gotta rebuild my collection." He watched Seren's reaction to his gift to her, and beamed, pleased, then turned and waited to see what Rhys would think of the good quality trainers Dai had bought him.
Pao -
Rhys was happy to sit back and watch the exchange between siblings. He couldn't imagine what it was like having to reform bonds that they each must have thought was broken in some form or another, but their respective reactions to the presents seemed like a good sign to him. Seren's gift, in particular, got a very impressed sounding whistle from him.
"Spoiling your sister right out the gate?" he chuckled as he leaned forward to grab his own box, shooting a grin at the Dai. "Good plan. And I'm glad you like 'em. Why didn't you just bring your old collection with you?" he asked while tearing open his present and eventually finding a great pair of sneakers inside.
"Well, s**t," he blinked and broke out into a huge smile as he pulled one out to take a closer look. "I'll try to do better on your birthday, kid."
Aria -
"Space. It might seem small, but when I was selling and giving away s**t so I could move somewhere far from the town we were from, I wanted only what would fit in a few suitcases, and what I got rid of, none of it was irreplaceable. I brought the ones that mattered the most to me." He touched the one he wore visibly, which earned a weak smile from Seren, and shrugged. "Like this one. This one was a rare present to Seren from our grandparents, along with a single silver star for the other ear. She couldn't wear it... She never got pierced ears, because of... well." His nostrils flared and he continued. "She saved them. I think she forgot them, by accident, in her packing."
He grinned wide at Rhys. "Glad you like them. I thought you might."
_________________________________________________________________
Seren sighed and shook her head. "No, I left it intentionally. Limited space, ya know? And since I didn't have piercings... And didn't plan on spending money on frivolous things for a long time... I figured I'd leave them behind. Maybe I shouldn't have. I don't know." She looked down at her git from Dai, her fingers running along the silk, trying not to regret leaving the earrings.
Pao -
"Love 'em. Thanks a lot." Rhys was still all smiles as he tucked his new sneakers away, then glancing between Dai and Seren as they explained their reasoning about having to leave certain things behind. Setting his box down, he pulled Seren in and gave her a hug, pressing a kiss to her temple as he did. "No sense thinkin' on it now, your brother's got 'em, right? They weren't lost or anything."
Both of their pasts were rather sore spots for them, and while he was perfectly aware of this it still hurt him quite deeply whenever he saw how affected she was by hers. "Babe?"
Aria -
"I guess..." She sighed a little, and smiled, melancholy but accepting what was as it came. She snuggled into Rhys, eyes closing for a moment, and she held Rhys tight. After a moment, though, she blinked and said "Yeah...?" softly to him.
_________________________________________________________________
Dai bit his lip, unhappy now to realize he had accidentally brought up bad memories for his sister. He watched Rhys comfort her, and got up, quietly, to go put his gifts away, trying to decide how to handle this. He pondered offering to take her to get pierced, then giving her the earrings back. He'd worn them because they were one of the few things he'd been able to rescue of hers that he knew had been significant to her, and now there was... Unhappiness for his sister behind it.
He stood silently, staring into the desk drawer where he kept the small collection he had brought with him, and then set the pair Rhys had given him in an empty spot. He set the candle holder on the desk, and put a lavender candle in it, but he had no way to light it.
Pao -
When she answered he nodded toward Dai, wondering if he had to say anything more. He knew it wasn't her obligation to make her brother happy, but he also knew how much she cared for him and he couldn't imagine she wanted him to be unhappy at all this Christmas. Or ever.
Aria -
Seren looked up, concerned, and then dropped her head to Rhys' shoulder, feeling like a terrible sister for making her brother unhappy on Christmas. She sat there a moment, clinging to Rhys, then stood up and walked over to her brother, and gave him a hug. "I... don't feel bad. You thought I was gone, and that... Well, I get it. I'm not upset at you, or unhappy with you. I just... There's so much from then that I'm still learning to cope with..." She said.
She glanced over at Rhys, and gave him a smile of love and gratitude. "Rhys has been helping me with that, a lot..." And she looked back at her brother. "I just, sometimes, find certain things harder to deal with. Don't... please don't feel bad, Dai?"
_________________________________________________________________
Dai was silent for a moment, then hugged his sister back, holding her tight, and he sighed, softly. "Star, I just... don't want to bring up bad things. I get it, now. You had a lot of hard choices to make, and some of them probably broke your heart when you did. I just wish I could take those bad things from you." He pressed a kiss to his sister's cheek, and put on a face of happiness. "But I love you, and you're here. So let's just be happy, yeah?" Inside, he couldn't help but remember how often he'd wondered if it was his fault her life was so horrible.
Pao -
Rhys held her for as long as she needed him to, and when she finally got up he sat back and watched the two of them sort some things out some more. He sat in silence, a soft smile on his face from seeing a happier part of Seren's past start to take root in her present.
Dai was right; they were here now and the focus should be more on being happy than anything else. "It's ********' Christmas, and the fam's all here, right?" he finally spoke up after a while. "We should've got you guys somethin' to drink or something to celebrate this reunion over the holidays."
Aria -
Dai blinked, pulled away from his thoughts, and gave Rhys a slight smile. "I don't drink, to be honest, but perhaps we can go scrounge up some cocoa or something from the caf?" He would be happy with anything that would distract from the unhappy thoughts that kept swirling through his head. "Nothing like a good cup of cocoa on Christmas."
He paused, then added "Though maybe we should text that Lex dude, since Seren thinks he's her brother too." His tone was clearly teasing, and he winked at Rhys to indicate he was gently yanking his sister's chain.
_________________________________________________________________
Seren blinked and turned to look at Rhys, an amused smile on her face, then blinked again at Dai's comment. "Something in how you say that makes me not want to ask why you don't drink. I think I'll leave it there." She pulled out of the hug and shrugged. "I drink on occasion, but never much. Once on that level was enough for me. I should introduce you to Joy, by the way, Dai. I suspect she'll mother the life out of you, but she can cook."
She looked startled at the comment about Lex, then laughed and swatted Dai on the shoulder. "Behave, you! I 'adopted' him because he was sad and lonely, and seemed like a sweet kid."
Pao -
He couldn't not smirk at the joke--and he was relieved to know it was a joke--and he raised a brow at the idea of Seren having gotten drunk once. Just once, from the sounds of it, and he couldn't tell if it was before or after they started dating. And the segue to mentioning Joy made him think that it must have been after she got here...and if it was with Joy he wasn't too concerned.
"She will mother the s**t outta you," he echoed, "but she can cook. So can your sister, but she's got a Filipino flare in her stuff. What was that one dish you told me about? Pork rinds or something?"
Aria -
"Chicharoooooons, baby. Chicharons." She grins and moved over to settle herself on his lap, instead of the pillow she had been on. "She brought them over the night she and I were drinking. I told you about that... When she was trying to pump me for information about my feelings for you?" She laughed and shook her head, cuddling into her boyfriend, her hand reaching up to touch where the ring he had given her was lying under her shirt at the thought of her feelings.
"And yeah, I mean we focus on different styles. She tells me she can't bake, for one thing." Her head tilted to rest on his shoulder as she spoke, her eyes on her brother's face.
_________________________________________________________________
Dai laughed and followed her back over, and settled across from them, his expression a little soft at seeing his sister just so happy and comfortable. He watched her hand, curiously, and tilted his head. "Somethin' up? And I think I should meet this Joy. Filipino food is ********' amazing."
Pao -
He snapped his fingers when she said the word he was looking for, laughing lightly when she settled in his lap instead. His arms instinctively went around her waist, his hold on her loose so she could adjust and keep herself comfy. "You did, yeah. It's comin' back," he nodded, leaning in for a very quaint but still loving little kiss.
"And you should," he looked over at Dai, "she's pretty great. And that's pretty rare for me to say about anyone, so."
Aria -
Seren laughed at the question, and said "Up? Dunno if 'up' is the word but..." She gently fished out the ring Rhys had given her, because she was still excited by it, and proud he felt good enough in them to get her that. She wasn't going to take it off, though. Indeed, she pretty much planned to wear it any time she wasn't in bed or the shower. Or getting tattoo'd, because it might kinda be uncomfortable to lie on.
_________________________________________________________________
Dai lifted his brows at that. "I'll keep that in mind, then. Definitely worth meeting, if she's up to the standards of someone very picky." He grinned a little, and tilted his head, then shrugged, but when Seren pulled the ring on the chain out, he half rose and leaned in until he could see it. His brows rose as he looked at it, then at Rhys, and his smile became warmer than ever, because it was so clear how much this ring had meant to his sister.
Pao -
When Seren fished the ring out Rhys felt a bit of warmth spread across his chest, and he gently rested his head against Seren's, eyes on the ring as well. He was gradually coming to terms with the fact that he now had someone in his life that he loved so very dearly, and that someone loved him just as much.
"I think she's pretty picky all on her own," he said slowly, eyeing Dai's expression with curiosity. "So if you're a picky eater she'd understand."
Aria -
Dai settled back, and gave Rhys a bright smile, then laughed a little. "I meant you being picky, since you say that you don't call people great very often." He watched the two of them together, and how connected they seemed to be, and just kept smiling happily. Someone who made his sister this happy. All it took was giving up her old life.
Strange twists and turns, but here she was, happy in a way he'd never seen her, healthy and strong. And a lot of that, he suspected, could be laid at the door of the man she was currently cuddled up to. "So you proposed to her back then. I'm guessing she said no. Was that..." He nodded at the ring. "A correction to the situation? Are you two engaged, or am I reading it wrong?"
_________________________________________________________________
"Joy, a picky eater? Now there's a thought that would never have occurred to me. I mean, I think she's reasonably picky about source, after those goddamn cookies, but otherwise she seems willing to give anything a try once." Seren sounded surprised at the idea of Joy as a picky eater.
Dai's first question had her snorting in surprised laughter. "Of course I said no! I barely knew him, I didn't think of anyone on the island as a potential FOB, let alone more at that point, and I was pretty damn sure he had no desire for me to say yes." She shook her head at Dai, and added "And no, this was my Christmas gift. Or it better not be, cause if I'm being proposed to, I want an actual proposal, even if it's just the four basic words. That way I know for sure."
Pao -
He blinked a bit, processing both Dai's words as well as Seren's, and then chuckling as he gave a shrug. "I don't think picky is the right word to describe me, but it works if you look at it that way, sure."
Dai's next few questions had him silenced again, and he let Seren answer at first before chiming in. "It wasn't a proposal, no," he chuckled softly, "just a promise that I'm not going anywhere. Trust me, you'll know if I'm proposing."
Aria -
Seren smiled at Rhys, her eyes filled with love, and said "I figured as much. You're not the sort to leave things as important as that up to confusion and a chance of miscommunication." She leaned up to press a soft kiss to his lips, before shifting back to snuggling again. She left the ring visible, because it made her happy to have it there, for her to see. "And babe, you can be picky about people. Food, maybe not, but people, yes."
_________________________________________________________________
Dai lifted his brows, and laughed at her denial, and her reasoning behind it. It made sense, and her phrasing just amused him. The rest of what they said had him nodding, slowly, in an understanding way. "I see. That does make a lot of sense, and is logical. And hmmm all right. I expect to be the first to know, however, if you do get engaged." He made a faux sneer at Rhys, making sure it was exaggerated enough to look ridiculous and obviously intended to be a joke. "I am her real, actual brother after all."
Pao -
He very happily kissed her back, easing back as she snuggled into him. "I guess so," he nodded, a little slowly as well as he processed the idea. The sneer Dai gave him had him snort, though, and pulled him out of that train of thought. "I'll leave the announcing to her, when it happens," because he was fairly certain it would a little further down the line.
"And you are, I know. You can lord that over Lex all you want." His tone was hopefully the sort that made it obvious that he was joking as well.
Aria -
Dai arched a brow at the 'lord it over' comment, and snorted. "I haven't even met the kid off Twitter yet. He seems young. Did I see that he was fifteen? Why is a kid that young even on this island? I thought recruiting someone like me, at seventeen, was kinda fishy and risky. Fifteen is crazy." He tilted his head with a curious expression, wondering what was up with that.
_________________________________________________________________
"Oh lords, the pair of you. Lex is a kid, be nice. A kid dealing with a shitty hand of cards that life decided to drop in his lap. And since you're the one making comments about 'lording it over' him, you can explain how exactly we have fifteen year olds on this island." She snorted softly, and leaned her head back onto Rhys' shoulder, refusing to speak anymore on this until Rhys had.
She maybe hadn't found out Lex was one of those at first... she'd thought he'd been recruited crazy young, and had felt terrible for him... But finding out he was one of the de-aged had made her feel even more terrible for him. His world was a complete change, and this him had not had any say in the matter. Actions a version of him several years older than he is now were having consequences the young boy had to deal with.
Pao -
He wrinkled his nose when Seren chided him about Lex; he had nothing against the kid, he was just piling on a little to what Dai had started. But he didn't object and just looked at Dai, expression serious so the kid didn't think he was joking as he explained.
"So there's this thing we deal with called Creation, takes the form of a tree on an island somewhere nearby here. I'm sure there's science-y words that Lifers would use to describe it but I just think it's some kinda magic voodoo entity piece of s**t that gets a kick outta ********' with us. So Creation at some point de-aged some hunters, some temporarily, others permanent. Lex is actually older than me and Seren, but thanks to Creation now he's younger than you. Not sure he remembers anything from when he was older, but yeah. He gets to relive his teens and twenties."
Aria -
"From everything he's said to me, he doesn't remember anything from before. He basically remembers being back home... He's from Vegas... Then waking up here, confused and scared as to who everyone was and where he was, and why he couldn't go home." Her eyes were serious as she spoke, and her voice was soft. "The version of him that made the choices that led to this seems to be gone. This version of him has no choices, but still has to deal with the consequences."
She sighed, quietly, and closed her eyes for a moment. "I pity him. He's suddenly parentless and in a place where he has a literally life and death job. I get the impression that the ones who were youthened are given lighter duties, but he still might have to go battle, and risk dying, over a decision he as he is did not make."
_________________________________________________________________
Dai blinked at all of this, and said "Once again, you two are providing me information that seems insane but I trust you two to not lie to me, so I believe you. But wow. Ok, I'll try to be gentle with the kid whenever we might happen to meet. Sounds like he's having a difficult time of things."
Pao -
Rhys gently ran a hand up and down her arm in a comforting gesture, nodding slightly. Choice or not, Lex and all the others that got de-aged were where they were now and rather than focus on the fact that they didn't have a choice at all he would rather advise them to just focus on moving forward. That, plus as far as Lex was concerned he could only kind of relate to suddenly not having parents. His own memories were so few, and most of those were vague.
"Other than being nice I think just to keep him on his toes he could probably use a kick in the pants now and again. What we do and all, we can't always treat him like a kid." His lips were curled in distaste, though, because being forcibly grown up based on situation was something he could fully relate to. And it was hardly ever fair.
Aria -
Dai blinked a little, then nodded slowly. "I see. Well, I'll do my best to be a good example, or something. He seems very energetic on Twitter. Is he like that in person too?" He had been amused by the conversations he'd seen, about Dirt bikes and other such nonsense. "If nothing else, I'll be willing to hang out with him, and help him when he's having a bad day, or something."
_________________________________________________________________
Seren arched a brow at the comment about a kick in the a**, but didn't comment, though her lips turned down a little. She was protective of Lex, having seen him cry, having seen him break down. She saw how hard all of this was on him, and how much he was trying to keep that in. She just wanted to protect the kid. "We do the best we can for them, in the end. It's all we can do..." She said, finally.
Pao -
Rhys nodded at Dai's words, and then, glancing down at Seren, noted the small frown on her face. Either his words or his view on the matter were a point of contention, but it was something he felt they could talk about later if it ever came up again. So for now he said nothing more on it, particularly after Seren sort of punctuated the conversation with her words.
"Also, he's not the only one. I get the feeling he's not even the youngest one, but something to know and maybe keep in mind."
Aria -
"I wonder if the tree will keep doing this. After all, that damn tree is what also caused the KimCident." She sounded dour at that. "Pity we can't get rid of it. Anyways. ONTO BRIGHTER TOPICS. It's ********' Christmas. Didn't you suggest cocoa, earlier, Dai?" She glanced up at Rhys, silently asking if they could break into their cocoa stock for cups for all three of them. She wasn't going to just give away their supplies, after all. Her fingers twined with Rhys' as she waited for his reaction.
_________________________________________________________________
"Same thing caused both? Freaky as ********... But yeah, lighter topics are good. Cocoa would be lovely, but I have no idea where you could get any, unless that bar in town has it and is open. I kinda hope not, for the owner's sake." He shrugged a little, and shook his head. "But we could always go check it out, I suppose."
Pao -
He smirked at the sudden topic change, not at all opposed but amused at how it came about. He caught Seren's look and just nodded, smirk turning to a full blown smile as he leaned down for a proper kiss. "We got you covered, bro," he said once he pulled back, though he playfully tightened his hold around Seren.
"Did you eat yet? Maybe we could do snacks or something, too?"
Aria -
"Ah?" Dai said, confused by the comment, but stood, carefully, and stretched out his legs as he moved, then offered his sister a hand up. "I had breakfast, but it's been some hours. A snack would be more then welcome. Are we going down to the kitchens, then?"
_________________________________________________________________
Seren smiled up at Rhys, then kissed him back, her fingers tightening around his for a moment. When it broke, she laughed softly, and murmured a soft thank you into Rhys' ear, just loud enough for him, and him only, to hear. She sighed happily, then blinked at the hand Dai offered her. On the one hand, she didn't entirely want to move, comfortable in Rhys' lap and arms as she was. On the other hand, snack and cocoa time. After a moment of consideration, she took Dai's hand, and stood up.
Once she, too, had stretched out, she turned and winked at Rhys, before offering him a hand. "Maybe. Or we could go back to our room, though someone would need to go get a thermos full of hot water and some mugs... I have extra Christmas cookies from the batches I made as gifts."
Pao -
Rhys took the offered hand and got himself up after the two of them, stretching out a little bit as well as he considered their options. "I can get the stuff from the kitchen, and you can grab what we need from our room?" he offered, looking between the two to see if they had any better suggestions.
Aria -
"Oh, you're saying come back here, babe?" She said, head tilting some. "Or did we wanna like... move to the lounge, and take over the comfy couches? I doubt it'll be too busy, right now, with people doing holiday-y things with their friends and loved ones." She shrugged, though, willing to go either way, but thinking about how nice it was when the two of them had access to a couch or loveseat to snuggle in.
Either way, she moved over to the door of Dai's dorm room to wait for the men, so that she could go gather everything and meet up wherever they were going to meet.
_________________________________________________________________
Dai shrugged, though the lounge sounded good to him, and turned to Rhys, letting him decide. "Either way, if you want some help carrying stuff back, since 3 mugs and a thermos of hot water can be difficult to hold in two hands, I'm happy to help?" He walked over to the door as he waited, and opened it for everyone.
Pao -
He hadn't even thought of the lounge, actually, but when Seren mentioned it he was tempted to facepalm. "Lounge sounds good," he nodded instead, taking Seren's hand as they exited the room. He was smiling as he turned to face Dai, much appreciative of the offer. "And sure, if you wanna come I wouldn't mind the help. Babe, you can do snacks and maybe setting up the room if it's messed up or has no blankets?"
Aria -
"Awesome, I'll come along and be spare hands, or whatever it is you need." Dai nodded, and followed them out the door, then locked it behind them all, before striding towards the stairs. He waited at the base of them, however, for the other two, smiling calmly.
_________________________________________________________________
"Of course, love. I'll have it nice and ready for you gentlemen when you get back." Seren gave a gentle squeeze of Rhys' hand, then led them down the hall to the stairs, then hooked her free arm through Dai's, before gently tugging her two favorite men up the stairs with her.
Pao -
Rhys nodded at the plan, gladly taking hold of Seren's hand as the three of them walked down the hall and up the stairs, only parting ways where the hall split toward further down the hall to more rooms, and the exit. "Okay, see you in a bit, babe." He leaned in for a little kiss, then let her go and glanced over at Dai.
"Let's go?
THIS IS HALLOWEEN: Deus Ex Machina
Welcome to Deus Ex Machina, a humble training facility located on a remote island.
