╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════▨✥▨═══════════════════════════════════════════════╗

If you just joined the guild you probably do not need to read this just yet. Come back here after you've started to work on your profile to check and see if everything you're doing is following the rules. We will post most if not all of our rulings here. Now there still is our〖RWBY: Ūnique ℞ules & Şystэms〗 topic which explains our major leveling and combat systems (which are super simple), but here we will have a random assortment of rules that we felt just make the role play better overall. If you see something on this list that you still really want to do please message the guild Capt'n with your ideas. He will analyze them and bring them before the crew if he thinks it is okay. Most likely it will be rejected if on this list though, so don't get your hopes up too high. Remember when reading this that these rules aren't strict rules. Meaning you can violate many of them if it make sense for the role play. These rules exist so a crew can come in and say, "Hey I'm enforcing this rule now." Its best to follow these rules in general as a crew might rule in favor of the opponent if they are 100% compliant and you are not, but again, these rules are loose. A crew may make exceptions any time to any rule. They may butt-in and enforce any rule at any time as well. The only exception is if both parties pre-decided to have a fight where no mods would be allowed to do this. We'll respect your wishes if all parties decide on this BEFORE hand and in a public place within the guild (topic in combat forum).

Abilities/Powers:

(1.) Grimm Powers - Anything that effects or utilizes grimm will almost definitely be blocked. This also includes your character having grimm grafts or grimm cells or even faux grimm cells. Nothing referring to grimm can be part of your character to start. We may have plot arcs where this can change, but it will be done by the crew.
(2.) Fear manipulation - We actually do allow SOME fear manipulation. You can have powers that mask or hide your fear or others. We don't allow things like fear projection, though. So be careful if you decide to make a fear-based ability.
(3.) Blackholes - Nothing like a black hole, or super nova will be accepted. That said, we did accept someone with a black hole that only absorbed light. As you can see that wouldn't be nearly as lethal as it merely hinders sight. See! Some exceptions can be made.
(4.) Resurrection - of self or others. You can bring someone back from the brink of death (if present). Just no bringing back people after they have actually died.
(5.) Forced Mind Control - Mind control is allowed but the user must be given permission by the person you are trying to control.
(6.) The 'One-Hit-Kill' - Never can you have a one-hit-kill move or ability... Sorry wannabe assassins. You cannot kill someone in a single blow without it being some super charge up power, and those are usually nerfed pretty bad. Though one or two have been seen to pass.
(7.) Canon Abilities - Any ability that is in RWBY already exactly as it is in the show is also banned. We want you to be unique!
(8.) Time Manipulation - Yes we know Weiss had time dilation, but we ban it here. There are too many complexities with it.

Weapons/Items:

(1.) Three Forms - You cannot have more than 3 weapon forms unless your weapon is significantly weaker than a normal weapon. Usually you should have two major fighting forms and a storage form. We do allow exceptions depending on the power level of the weapon though.
(2.) 20% Size-shift - Please don't have your weapon or character size shifting more than 20%. It is just unrealistic. Your cellphone cannot shift into a battleaxe. Sorry.
(3.) 8 Bullets - You can only have 8 dust augmented bullets per fight. This is refreshed between every fight. Even on missions (scavenging refills). This cap will be raised when Atlas is unlocked. For now dust is rare.
(4.) 300 Bullets - Anything more than 300 normal bullets is kind of absurd. Try and keep it to 300 at most. This is for physical bullets.
(5.) Dust Augmentation - Raw dust should only be used 3 times in a fight to augment abilities, bullets, attacks, etc. Unless passively connected to your weapon like a dust blade. That means you can have 8 bullets + 3, but the three have to be combined mid-fight.
(6.) No Relics - These will be made via plot only.
(7.) Cybernetics - You can can have weaponized cybernetics INSTEAD of a weapon. If you lose a limb you can get cybernetic replacements, but you must wait one month in real life before you can upgrade/weaponize it. You can alter it no more than 3 times. A month between each upgrade. If you lose a limb your post count is permanently reduced by 30. You gain back 10 posts for each month after until you make back that 30 posts. This negative effect may be doubled if you are hit by the wheel of doom.

General Rulings:

(1.) Semblance Usage - Semblances are unique. Some are passives and some are actives. One thing is for sure though, they requires lots of energy. At any time someone is allowed to message a crew if they think someone is over doing it. The crew might pop in and say "Hey you're out of energy now. Sucks to be you." Or they may say, "You got X more uses then you are wiped." This is done to make things more cohesive.
(2.) Combat Exception - You do not have to fight using the level/combat system for pvp fights as long as all parties pre-decide on this within a topic in the combat forum. You can create new rules, or a new system entirely. All terms must be agreed upon by both sides though and within the combat forum as it provides a public place for crew to see that the terms were actually agreed to. Some people don't like having pre-determined fights, or the duelist system and that is fine. We're flexible. Just make sure all terms are agreed upon beforehand.
(3.) Pathetic Punches - If you are a high level and engage in a fight and do not put up a good fight. A crew may and will step in and declare you a loser. The level system is the general system, but if people try and abuse it in any way we will step in make exceptions. Don't think you can just win with your pinky finger because you are a higher level.
(4.) Slight Godmodding - There is nothing wrong with slight god-modding. Any experiences role player knows this You can dictate, to a small extent, the effects of others. Role-playing is about interaction and that can be complex. Go to a mod first before calling your opponent out. Let the crew make the decision and alert the other person. It avoids drama this way. Also if you are higher level you can get away with a bit more than a lesser level. You are considered more skilled in your abilities after all. So a good rule of thumb is that a higher level can god mode slightly more than a lesser level. Which is relative to the players. Don't over do it though. This also means that if a lesser level wants to not have the higher level god modding at all then they ought not to themselves. Be kind about it though. Most people don't realize they are god modding because they haven't read your abilities in depth.
(5.) Magic or Physical Semblance - We have allowed some semblances that were none-magical, and none-physical. We will honor our former judgements, but from now on all semblances must make sense within the RWBY world. They must be magical or physical. A physical semblance is like Ruby being super fast. A magical semblance is like Weiss having glyphs. Technically these are all aura fueled in nature.
(6.) Realism - We get it. Its an anime and things aren't really that realistic, but you got to keep things from being too absurd. No lifting more than 2 tons of weight for example. If you can lift this much weight you'll be hella slow and tanky. This applies to other physical feats as well.
(7.) Ability Abuse - We approve some abilities that very well can be used in an OP fashion. We trust you to not abuse it though. If you do, we can nerf you at any time, and anywhere. We purposefully allow people to be a little OP sometimes. This is for flexibility. If you abuse it, or use it in a way that doesn't help the role-play you can and will be nerfed.
(8.) Content - Anything submitted to the guild will become property of the guild. Obviously we do not own art you have made/had crafted for your character and things like that, but if you help create a location topic, or submit a system, or other written piece of work it is now ours.
(9.) Time Limit - We are perfectly fine with you not completely filling in your Semblance, or even changing things before you get to it, however, we do need you to submit the changes one week before you unlock them. This is so that we can make sure they are able to be approved.
(10.)Character limit- Each person is allowed to make unlimited students. However, you are only allowed one Student villain, one adult Villain, one loner, and one teacher character. Any characters made and approved before 7/18/2018 will not be subject to this rule, however, if something happens to them, then you will not be allowed to make any more of that type of character.
