Name: Leslie Kotake 小竹 Nickname: Les, Princess Age: 16 Birthday: April 1st Sign: Aries Gemstone:Diamond Blood Type: O- Fav. Food: Macaroons Hated Food: Anything Green School: Hillworth Grammar School (Males only, dispriviledged backgrounds or bad behavior), Hobbies: D&D - One of the few things that gets him socializing. Normally he plays mage classes but he has been considering a bard at some point. The group he is currently with contains other students from Hillsworth. He rarely DMs due to the fact he would go on long monologues for his NPCs. At some point, once he leaves this school, he wants to maybe move things online or get into dressing up as his character when they play. Cooking - Since his father died, his mom works full time at two jobs. This has left Leslie to learn and to grow a love of cooking and baking. At first it was simple things like ramen or pasta, now he makes full course meals for his mom and the few friends he has. Dressing Up -- Leslie has taken a liking to a lot of the visual kei and lolita attire that he had seen in pictures of when his parents were in Japan. While not the biggest fan of cosplay, he does love doing light makeup and wearing kimonos or other dresses when he goes out to the grocery store or D&D sometimes. It is something that makes him a bit more comfortable with his appearance and gives him opportunities to be a bit more open about things. His sister started him up on the idea before she moved out on her own, a lot of his outfits were made with her help. One day he hopes to make more clothes of his own and to design things for others but he's very shy about letting this information out. Virtues: Creative -- Having a knack for clothing and make up is one thing but its even more useful when helping with schemes and escape plans for the boys. He often likes to talk with his friends about all the new art projects he works on and tries to give a lot of different types of advice when asked. Caring -- Just like his mother, Leslie genuinely worries and cares for the few friends he has made. The party as he says is his top priority and he often makes food for them so they don't have to eat the crappy school lunches. Helping out his friends is something he will jump to do even if he doesn't get any thanks for it. Very few would question his dependability if it came up. Flaws:Contrary -- Leslie hates people in higher positions or who are older than him. He does what he wants and will purposefully do the opposite of what someone older tells him. Frequently leading him to detention after being expelled from his previous school. Others may find him extremely aggravating due to this but once the differences are settled everyone's opinion may change. Flirt -- Girls, boys, you name it. If he finds you attractive you'll know it as he hounds you and throws out every pick up line in the book. Wooing you with confections and flowers, especially in February. It can be really distracting and often gets him in trouble when he disrupts class. Not everyone lets him down easy though, sometimes starting fights to get the message through to him. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION Eyes: Grey blue round shaped Hair: Pale pink hair in sort of a style like this FluffyFace: Heart shaped face Clothes: Outside of school he normally wears a wide range of things that sometimes make people question his gender.

Knight Title: Yoshino, Page of Lysithea Wonder Description:N/A Uniform: Knights all have a different theme depending on what Planet/Celestial Body they represent. Check the Knight Information Thread to get an idea of what designs would be appropriate to best represent your Knight's planet! Each Planet has a specific color palette so make sure you are drawing from that when designing your Knight! The outfit might have a few accent colors that stray from the palette, but the majority of the colors should match it. Metallic colors are allowed for all Knights regardless of color scheme, but the uniform must feature predominantly palette colors! Dark colors should not dominate the uniform so even if the color palette is naturally dark, please keep this in mind! You can incorporate white or gray into your design in moderation, Your Knight should have their planetary symbol presented as a major motif in their outfit, so please consider where these symbols might best appear on their uniform! These things, and more information about uniform guidelines, can be found in the Knight Information Thread and the Custom Procedures Thread! Links to these threads can be found below in the ‘Tips’ below the form! Reference pictures may be used in place of descriptions, but please be prepared to give extra detail if your artist requires it! Top -- Thigh-length traditional side-fastened coat? Shorter? Longer? Exposed undershirt? Cropped? Buttons? Toggles? Long sleeves, or short sleeves? Sleeves at all? What's the collar like? Is it a dress? You are generally as basic as it gets here and should be something you can be very active in. Bottoms -- Skirt Gloves -- lacy Belt -- Belt? No belt? Shoes -- cute maryjane style Shoulders -- Epaulettes? Shoulderpads? Accessories -- What kind? Pages and Squires cannot have capes, so please keep this in mind! Weapon & MagicKnights fight with a magical artifact that they can channel magic through once they reach their second stage. This artifact is called a ‘weapon’, though it cannot be bladed or lethal, cannot be anything that could not be reasonably held, and must be a single item. They cannot be a pair of items (such as a pair of gloves) ; magic can only be channeled through one item. As they grow in power, their weapon will grow, and their magic will as well. Knight weapons will have three forms and should always be timeless. These are ancient antiques that have been passed down through each incarnation. At second stage, a weapon can have magic themed on the planetary powers of the world their Wonder is located on. Tips about writing magic can be found below the form! Page Weapon: A small glass orb with a large clump of cherry blossoms floating inside, sort of like those forever roses. Squire: At this stage the weapon grows into something more useful. It can do damage but it should not be immensely powerful or lethal. From the examples above, a Squire Weapon might evolve into a heavy chain, a dull ceremonial sword, and a pretty flute. You gain access to your magic pool at this stage. Magic is channeled from a pool of energy and can be turned on and off at will. Magic must reflect the power themes of the world the Knight serves. The casting time for Squire magic pool is typically between 30-45 seconds at this stage depending on effects; offensive and debilitating magic will generally have a smaller magic pool, but healing magic, shields, and illusion magic usually have a larger magic pool. Knight Weapon: At this stage the weapon grows into its final, most useful stage. It can do damage but it should not be immensely powerful or lethal. The weapon can become more ornate, or capable of doing more damage. From the examples above, a Knight Weapon might evolve into a heavy chain with a lantern at the end, a dull, but extravagant ceremonial sword, and an ornate flute.Your magic may become more powerful at this stage, and you gain a longer channeling time. Magic is channeled from a pool of energy and can be turned on and off at will. Magic must reflect the power themes of the world the Knight serves. The casting time for a Knight’s magic pool is typically between 45-60 seconds at this stage depending on effects; offensive and debilitating magic will generally have a smaller magic pool, but healing magic, shields, and illusion magic usually have a larger magic pool.

Okay but WHAT ABOUT GREEN MACAROONS??? My only advice here is to just be mindful when presenting a character that cross dresses as certain representations fall into tropic and offensive. Just be clear on why he cross dresses and how he represents himself. While people use cross dressing to explore sometimes, its always just a thing to keep in mind to avoid common pitfalls or misconceptions of what cross dressing entails. Cross dressing means a lot of things to a lot of people, but being mindful of it's place in relation to writing and such is just a good thing to have. I might suggest to expand a bit on personality, going over each aspect and how it relates to his relationships and interactions with people and not just himself. This can help people get a better grasp of him and how he might be in a variety of social situations.

Working on it, was a bit out of the loop due to medical stuff but I'm fleshing a bit of the details out here now. ^^ Mostly it makes him more comfortable in an artistic sense and closer to his family heritage. His adult goals are going to be more focused on like clothing designer things or anything in an artistic line of work. Also he doesn't like the taste of green dye on top of naturally green food xD

Hiyo Sara! Wat is this!? Another rowdy child in our midsts?!? It's good that he's going to Hillworth, yes - they'll straighten him out nicely. Are you sure he doesn't belong at Romano's? I hear a military academy can be just the thing? (I tease.) Let's see what we can do about shipping him off to Hillworth, shall we? Leslie looks like a very interesting character and one with a lot of potential! I must admit, I'm really curious as to what he did to get expelled and sent to Hillworth, and just what makes him rowdy? Why is Leslie Kotake a rowdy boy? For his D&D hobby, it would be really beneficial to expand here - as it stands there isn't really enough information to get a feel for how this is a hobby of his. For example, you could expand on things like how he got into D&D, how often he plays? Does he ever GM, or only take part in other people's campaigns? Is Leslie part of a dedicated group, and if so where did he meet this group? Is it an RL group or an online group through Roll20? Cooking hobby looks great and is really sweet, but Leslie will not have much call to be doing cooking while at Hillworth as it is a boarding school that is run military style. The boys live in stark dorms and meals are served in a dining hall. Cross dressing hobby is another that looks well thought-out so good job there! I enjoy the tie-in to the fashion side of things (as an aside, you may want to look into the term 'metrosexual' as it may be applicable to Leslie - or something he might look up/look at for self expression at some point in IC play). Unfortunately, it is also a hobby that he will not be able to indulge in save for weekends and 'vacation' times, due to the way that Hillworth is run. Virtues and flaws look good, appearance too! I do want to bring up a salient point: boys are not enrolled in Hillworth just because it's there - there is always a reason, be it disadvantage or behavior issues. Please do keep in mind that Hillworth is known for, quote, "still having a bad reputation for housing 'rabble', and certainly any self-expression or individuality is squashed from the boys when they try to show it" - that should impact how Leslie is when he's around school/on campus. The suggestions I've made for Leslie are just that - suggestions. You don't have to take them precisely as I've lain them out - however, the issues I've pointed out will need to be corrected before we can get him stamped properly! Please feel free to quote me when you're ready to have me come back around for another look. I hope my input is helpful to you! -Sy

Please feel free to quote me when you're ready to have me come back around for another look. I hope my input is helpful to you! -Sy The starting factor to his expulsion was a string of strong and incessant complaints about the school's lunch. If he had stopped at just that it would have been fine but, he started sneaking in and tampering with the food. It would end up tasting better but the fact that he was going in and adding in extra things without approval and possible without proper food handling knowledge was cause for the first suspension. The last straw that finalized his expulsion was when he began a large scale food fight aimed towards the kitchen workers. He was one of a few that were expelled but he felt it was justified as one of the worst kitchen workers resigned that day. While he dislikes a lot about the restraints from Hillsworth, he does like a majority of the people he comes across. Learning their stories and playing games makes things easier since he can't really take part in his main hobbies during school. Although the food isn't great he knows that it would greatly strain his mom if he got kicked out of another school. He greatly looks forward to those vacation times where he can surprise his friends with the newest clothing ideas and costumes he has come up with during the school year but I would imagine at his introduction to the school he may get in trouble until he gets a base understand of how things are run and how he has to be at school. (I did expand a little on the D&D part but I will probably add a bit more detail once more of the rowdy boy D&D group gets cemented out)

Hiyo Sara! Before I get into the main response, apologies on taking so long to return to this profile! I did not quite realize that your response was not only an address on some of the issues meant but also likely a secondary request for further review until recently. While it is certainly possible for Leslie to have been expelled after a series of events involving Meadowview's food services, we will have to ask that you change the backstory some to account for setting. As school fare is bland for a myriad of reasons - the main of which are due to cost and to avoid the bulk of allergy related triggers - it is statistically reasonable then to surmise that if he seasoned the food differently (or simply added in other/extra ingredients) there would likely be severe allergic reactions. Due to this, I propose that he was caught several times attempting to guerrilla change the food, then caught once or twice actually doing it (before anything was served, thus costing the school money as the meal could not be served), and then culminating in the large-scale food fight. For the other points - I really like the expansion on the D&D hobby, and as long as you are aware that he will not have much cause to engage in his other two hobbies at all whilst attending Hillworth (save for weekends and furloughs home) then those are fine as well and the only thing to discuss is whether or not the backstory changes will work for Leslie. If they won't, then we can work together to figure out something that is cohesive for both the world state and this character, no problem! Let me know if you have any further questions or comments, or just ping me when you're ready - and once again, I apologize profusely for the delay in getting back to you. u__u;; -Sy
