The blistering heat and the feel of seat covering her as she raced forward, under and around the obsticles was made harder by the blaring afternoon sun. The shrieking of a whistle as sheslide to a skiding stop once crossing the line signled she was done.
Gym class was fn if you iked getting heat stroke. Having to complete a course with your pokemon in sync with you was hard even for experianced trainers, though her Espeon new when and how much to push to keep up or catch up. Espeon gave herself a good shake to get the seat off herself and fallowed Harley to the side where the other studnets at once finished or waited for their turn. Lillie was sat next to her with her Clefary in her lap. "See? Not so had?" she said mor eout of breath and winded which made Lillie give a nervous laugh.
"Well me and Clafary aren't really that fast. also you did climb on Executors with no probelm." She laughed at the memory, thought he Pinsir fallowign down on them had been horrfying.
"Flap your little wings than Clafary." Harley laughed and made her hands do a small flaping motion which made the fairy giggle and laugh.

"Huh?" Was all Harley could get out at that, this was the first time she heard this rumor. She looked from Hau to Lillie, as if she held the ansers to the world.
At the moemnt she did.
"Well yes uh I mean he and I had the option to go to private schooling again bt, I wanted to stay with you two. Gladion decided he'd come as well to look after me." Lillie shifted though not unconfrtably, she was excited he'd be there. Five years had gone by but their family was still sturggling with eveyrhting that had happened. Their mothe rhad suffered, they had suffered and they were just balrey begining to heal form it.
"So he'll have other eoople to distract himself with right? As in he wont make a habbit of trying to kill Hau?" Harley could remember the one time that Hau had unentially pushed Gladion years ago. Though he was nowhere near going to kill him that glare said everything. She hated the fact that she had only beaten him ONCE, Barely! She was the Chamion of Aloha yet Gladion had possed, and still did, the greatest challnge to her.
She was somehwat inwarldy thankful he had never officaly challenged her ont he mautin.
"You both know he's not that bad." Lillie said matter of factly and giveng her friend that look that siad I wont be argued with.
"arecues you tow are similair its scary." harley blew her purplish red hair out of her eyes, she needed to dye it again the naturla color was cong threw.

Lillie gave her Clafary a pat which made it coe in happiness makgn her smile. Harley was having a delmena none of her okemon liked leaving her alone. "Har choice Espeon and Mimikyu are boht so protective that theyll cause hell here no matter which I take. bringing neither of them might destory the house, and one will still destory the house." She had a few idea of even sneaking both with her, but that also left her own Tye Null..
Only three int he world and Gladion had given her one, trusting her with its care. She had no desire to leave her Null behind, it had grown visciously attatched to her once the intial violance was passed, it only ended in her being in the ER twice. Unlike gladions Nul who had evovled hers still remained trapped with the helmet, it wans't something she wanted to force ont he creature and despite being its trainer for five years and it trusting her it seemed hesitant to evolve.
"Well Mmikyu can make itself falttened so it could hid in your bag like Neby did with me, so Easpeon could be out with you." Lillie thought alowed carefully, she knew the level fo devotion the other two trainers envovked in their pokemon. She also knew of Harleys Null, she had been so proud of Gladion when she heard he gave her one, entrusting her with it. "Also he'll be here on time for t." She said in repsonse to Hau's inqurary.

Skipping to the Trip

Harley had considered not going, she had shared as muc with Lillie and Hau but they had convinced her that the school trip could be fun and a good distraction. Trutfully they all wanted to get out and move for a bit, her and Hau had both been getting stirr crazy from being in such a regimented scene for so long. Her and Hau had arrived earler than most to the school to head out. They both arrived together sense her mother had work that mronign and offered to drop them off to save everyone time. "Think Lillie will be here soon?" She asked as her Mimikyu danced aorund on her lap and shoulders in bliss. Hearng footsteps she looked up and saw Lillie with .... Oh Arceus help her. Gladion she was surprised yes, though she hadn't seen him yet and Guzm was one she wasn't epected to be with ehtier of the siblings.
"Harley! hau! Sorry for beign late I lost something before leavng and had to get it!" Lillie laughed nerovusly and apolgoetically. "Mister guzma is being mine and Gladions offical adult supervisor, moter was busy." She laughed nervously noting the more than obvious tares form her two friends.
guzma, despite everything, looked and felt compelty at ease. "Yo Champ! didn't think youd be ne for losing yur words." He laughd at the younger girl staring at him in confusion.
"Well I was going to ask what you were doing here but Liliies answered for me. Still strange seeing you here though." Getting over it and the fact hat Guzma at a glance could still startle and scare her, which he knew and wanted. Despite this she was relived in some way knowing he had a way of makign stupdi people act less stupid around her and Lilllie. Gladion though she knew he was aorund, Lillie had said as much but she ha'dt evne talked to him or seen him up close in a very long time. Than again the lat time they had really seen or talked to one another was when he had challengered her at the league when she first ascended up the mautine, and the first and only tiem she ever beat him.
