Asha had been born into the Boabab pride and she had lived there until she was a young adult, then tragedy struck and everything changed, some of the members of her pride had been killed and others fled and scatter to the far reaches of the land. She ran off into the rogue lands and struggled to survive till she grew stronger and was able to take care of herself. Asha knew it her heart that the day would come that the fire would be a thing of the past and she would be able to return to her home and others would return as well. Those who would not return would be replaced with new blood of rogues that were strong and able to help rebuild the pride.
She was on the move heading for her home, she watched as the area around her slowly she started to see the trees that marked her homeland some of the trees were small showing the mark of the fire that had caused massive damage years before. She breathed in she loved the baobab trees they were beautiful and she felt like they held the spirits of those who had died in the fire. Asha missed each one. Her grandparents had died in the fire as well as her parents. Her heart ached for their loss, but she knew they were in these trees that had regrown from the ashes.
She continued on and started to see that she was right indeed there were members of the pride setting up and cleaning up the territory getting everything ready, accepting new members. Doing everything that needed to be done to bring the pride back to life. She smiled warmly and continued on she would take her place as the leader of the clan that had once belonged to her parents. She hoped the others members would return. She held out hope that many of those from the past would return and help her bring strength and beauty back to the pride. She moved along to the set of trees that had been her clan home. They weren't as big as they once were since they had only been growing for a short time. She moved along to find a new clan home, she found a crop of trees close to the river and chose that for her clan's home.
Asha chased out the animals that she didn't want in the trees eating a monkey as she went along. She was pleased and she went to clean herself up in the river. She splashed around for a bit and dunked her head in the water to wash the blood away. She climbed out of the water and shook herself off. Then she went to lay in the sun to rest from her long journey and had taken a great deal of time to get here and she wasn't sure what she would do next. She had a lot to do she needed to search for other members of her clan both old and new.
For today she would rest, as the day went on, she was getting tired. She went to her new clan home, climbed into the tree and went to sleep for the night. She woke with the dawn and went out hunting.
