She has worked on ber physical ability all her life and despite her size, she is incredibly strong being able to perform feats of strength past what a girl her size could normally do.         Faunus Trait/Bonus Talent ▬ Born in the Sea: Scylla much like the rest of her tribe learned to swim before they could walk, they are all born with a natural talent for swimming and being underwater. She fights in water better than anywhere else, swims the fastest and can hold her breath underwater longer than normal people ever could
        Other Talents ▬ Voice of the Gods: Scylla was born with an exceptionally good voice, the sound of it often amazes. She is naturally good at singing and her singing can make most people turn in amazement. She is able to change her tone at will and use all four ranges of tone, Contralto, Alto, Mezzo-soprano, and Soprano.

        Blood of the Gods: Scylla has an unusually high amount of red blood cells, according to the old religion she has the Blood of Gods flowing through her veins. This naturally increases her VO2 max and endurance well above a normal athlete.

        Strongest Skill ▬ Guitar Proficiency: Scylla has trained all her life with only one weapon, her heavy guitar. She has mastered it and its incredible weight. She knows how the weapon will handle in any given situation and her guitar is an extension of herself.
        Weakest Skill ▬ Scylla is unable to use any other weapons other than her guitar, she has no formal training and any other weapon is a foreign concept to her. She also refuses to use any other weapon as well.
        Other Skills ▬ Climbing: Scylla has climbed all over her islands rocks and rocks in the sea. She is used to climbing wet slippery surfaces and often finds climbing dry surfaces a breeze. Since she learned she hasn't fallen.
        Tracking: Scylla is quite good at tracking prey, she learned from the hunts she'd go on. She can identify tracks and usually determine how fresh and from a track often find the path the prey has gone.
        Fear: Scylla was trained from a young age to feel no fear in battle and not be afraid of an enemy. No matter how powerful or scary an enemy is she is unable to feel fear when fighting.

        Nature ▬ Chaotic neutral: Scylla follows her whims and is an individualist first and last. She values her own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. She avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. She does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so she would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from herself suffer. She may be unpredictable but her behavior is not totally random. She is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. She believes there is no order to anything including her own actions. With this as a guiding principle, she tends to follow whatever whim strikes her at the moment. Good and Evil are irrelevant when making a decision.

        Scylla is not concerned with the desires of family members. She values flexible relationships with romantic partners. She considers herself above the law and finds most people to be narrow-minded and inflexible. She is not concerned with the less fortunate and believes people deserve the treatment they are willing to endure. She has few close friends and would never betray those she has unless circumstances are dire. She believes those who seek to rule others are by nature corrupt and seeks to undermine the authority figures of her community. She will bream any contract when she feels!s like it and believes luck determines wealth. Life has meaning, but hers has the greatest meaning and since death is inevitable anyway, she isn't averse to speeding certain people on their way if she deems it necessary, though she will not go out of her way to inflict pain and suffering.

        "See, you can have all the skill in the world and still have a bad day. It doesn't take much for the most fortunate man around to have a fall. A royal family at the height of their power gets betrayed and that's the end. It's life really innit?"

        BACKGROUND ▬ "I was born lucky, on a set of small islands where I was a regia puella or princess in the mainland language. I was considered above the rest of the tribe, I was someone significant. Being the only child and sole heir meant I was expected to do great things. When I was younger I didn't know really anything else so I followed a path set out for me. Our tribe is special in that even me someone so important was expected to become a warrior and lead the fight against the Sea Monsters or Grimm as I've come to understand. I went through significant training like every other young kid of the Luca Tribe. It was during this training I would meet my two best friends Tethys and Lethe. Unlike many, they did not treat me as some Goddess that they must now down to. Instead, they treated me as a normal girl, and nothing bonds friends together better than harsh training. I remember walking into the Hall of Weapons that held the tribe's weapon stock. Some of them older than my parents. We were to choose are weapon for life and to choose it carefully. Once chosen there was no going back. I had not yet unlocked my semblance and yet one weapon called out to me. I personally feel it was just chance I happened to see it all the way in the back, tucked away behind other weapons. A guitar much larger than myself, it was clearly one that had been with the tribe since the beginning. The oldest weapons we're always in the back and they were the hardest to use and master. My weapon had the name Atsumori Beat, and I had decided to take it. I had not realized what I had gotten myself into when I had to drag it back to the entrance. It was the heaviest thing I had ever held in my hand and I could only just drag it. I was the last to arrive at the ceremony already exhausted dragging my weapon across the hall. I remember the looks on the elder's faces as they saw my weapon. This weapon had only been used by the founder of our tribe and considered impossible to master. They took this as a sign of me being destined to lead our tribe to Glory. I still think to this day it didn't mean anything. After the ceremony, I had to drag it home. I never made it home that night instead of passing out on the sand halfway home. We were never to leave our weapon, something we were taught from the very beginning of our training. Despite my being against most traditions I find the idea of not letting your weapon out of your sight a good one. I still follow it to this day.

        Time went by and I got used to my weapon, to the point I could carry it around. It took me longer to truly master the weight and even longer to be able to swim with it. My luck seemed to hold though as I seemed to be born with some unnatural strength. I and my friends continued our training and the little education that was taught up until we were 13. By this point, we were fully trained and expected to fight the Grimm as they showed up. I remember my first real battle vividly. My friends and I painted each other's war paint and did our hair. For now, we were nervous but once the battle would begin we were to lose any fear and fight as one unit. When the Grimm finally arrived our unit went to the front lines. We were lined up with veterans and awaited our enemy. We were to follow orders and work together remembering our training. Grimm like these was too powerful for one person to take on. The battle was fierce and the Grimm were vicious. It was a particularly nasty day but we eventually prevailed. We had lost some members of our unit but we had been taught that to sacrifice our lives in the defense of our tribe was a great honor. That afternoon during sundown I performed my first sending ritual with my two friends. I was to sing and dance as the "priestess" and my friends to play instruments. It was here where I unlocked and used my semblance for the first time. My voice carried so that the whole island could hear, I had not even realized what I was doing. I was lost in the ritual and everything that came with it. That night we celebrated our victory, by first getting our tattoos on our left shoulder. In honor of our first real battle and our first Grimm kill. Afterward, we feasted, and for the first time, we're allowed alcohol. We were no longer children but warriors and we no longer had the same restrictions. We all got very drunk that night and I don't remember much after my third or fourth drink.

        Life would go on and I was starting to realize some things about myself and life. By the time I was 14 most of us girls in the unit had begun to experience romance, we were no longer restricted. We were expected to find a permanent male partner by 16, so long as that happened or if we let ourselves be assigned one whatever we did till then was our business. This was probably the first real taste of freedom and self-choice I had tasted. Once I did I started to realize my own true nature. I began to despise a lot of our rules and traditions. I wanted to be free. It was then that I decided to build my own boat to leave the island and I told my friends about it. They took a little convincing but they wanted to see what was out there as well. So we began to build it in secret and it would take over a year before it was ready. Nothing really happened in that year out of the ordinary but it was a valuable experience when it came to fighting Grimm. I was halfway through my 15th year of life when we finally left. My parents were starting to try and find candidates to set me up with and I had no interest in that whatsoever. We left during the night, I left a note explaining to my parents the situation. I bought them they were happy but I didn't really care and still don't. Our journey took a very long time but eventually we hit the mainland.. It was here we would learn of Vale and make our way there. When we arrived we found about Beacon and on a whim, I suggested we enroll there. I don't know why I did it but I did. The academy is a joke but I go around and do what I want mostly so it's not the worst. I was on a team at some point but they were useless and honestly annoying. I've turned 16 since then and I'm fully grown now, I was hoping to get taller but it seems as this is how I shall be. I'll see how long I decide to keep staying bere, it is a free room after all so could be worse.

        PRIMARY WEAPON
        ▬ Atsumori Beat

        Atsumori Beat is an electric guitar weapon that combines with Scylla's Semblance extremely well. It is an extremely sturdy weapon that was clearly made to be more than a simple electric guitar. The guitar is waterproofed and unless there are any electric currents going through it may be fully submerged in water. Makes a very effective two-handed mace-like weapon. Dust may be used with it to lessen the drain of Scylla's semblance and give her sound waves effects. Scylla is able to channel her aura through her weapon and store a small reserve inside it, 10% of her max aura can be stored.

        With Atsumori Beat comes a pair of soundproof headphones that can protect Scyllas ears from her own sound or other sounds. They take in all sound and dampen it into a safe level so Scylla can still hear properly. The dampening is easily adjustable with a button on the headphones or if connected to her guitar through that.
        Melee Form ▬ Guitar always in Melee form, can be basically used as a mace.
        Ranged Form ▬ The only range is its sound
        Other Form(s) ▬ Not really a form but should be noted it can be used in the water and underwater as well.
        Ammo Type ▬ No ammo
        ▬ It has no range, it only has distance from Scylla's semblance. Just a melee weapon otherwise.

        *DESCRIPTION
        ▬ Rock 'N' Roll is Scylla's ability to manipulate sound. Sound Manipulation entitles that Scylla can shape and manipulate sound, a periodic disturbance of the medium (air, ground, water, etc) that radiates outward in straight lines in the form of a pressure wave. The effect these waves produce upon the ear is perceived as sound. From the point of view of physics, the sound is considered to be the waves of vibratory motion themselves, whether or not they are heard by the human ear.

        Scylla can mimic, intensify, hush, and strengthen her own sound or the sound of anything she is touching with hands. Her semblance is best used with something that is made to produce sound. This reduces the strain on her aura if she already has higher decibels to work with. When using her Semblance her aura will glow. She may manipulate sound up to 50 feet away.

        It should be noted her semblance is amplified underwater as sound travels faster and longer distances underwater. It is almost impossible to tell where sounds come from underwater. All her moves are doubled in the distance in the water. She drains less aura while using her moves underwater.

        Scylla's sound attacks hit like a hammer able to knock back 4ft at level 0, 6ft at level, 8ft at level 2, and 10ft at level 3. When she hits level 3 and has it active her attacks are doubled in power, range and knockback. All sound attacks travel at the speed of sound.

        *LEVEL 0 ▬ Intensify: Scylla increases the decibels on the sound she manipulates.
        Normal: Decibel limit 150 Strengthened: Decibel limit 165
        Cooldowns: 5 posts active with 3 post cooldown, cooldown reduced to 2 on level 2, and 1 on level 3
        *LEVEL 1 ▬ Hush: Scylla reduces the decibels on the sound she manipulates.
        Normal: 20-decibel limit. Strengthened: 0-decibel limit
        Cooldowns: 5 posts active with 3 post cooldown, reduces by 1 post at level 2 and 3
        *LEVEL 2 ▬ Mimic: Scylla is able to mimic a sound she has heard perfectly.
        Normal: Able to mimic 1 sound at a time. Strengthened: Able to mimic 3 sounds at a time.
        Cooldowns: 5 posts active with 3 post cooldown, reduced to 2 posts at level 4
        *LEVEL 3 ▬ Strengthen: Scylla strengthens all of her other abilities and increases the power of her sound attacks.

        *DRAWBACKS ▬ Her semblance can hurt her own allies, and if she is not careful herself as well. Sound manipulated into attacks instead of just loud noise will have a visible red tint to them. Any damage from sound cannot bypass aura defenses. Her sound has a maximum decibel level of 150 that increases to 165 once she reaches her Strengthen level. Can only manipulate sound to 50 feet away. She can only manipulate sound from something she is touching.

Hello, my name is Youroka Kage and I will be judging your profile today.

    ❖Ok, So I need to know how big of a cone AMP it up is. It seems like it would be in a cone shape.
    ❖ So I need to let you know, that per mission, you can have 8 vials of Dust.
    ❖ Amp it in, has an issue. I do not like the fact that it effects the water in someone's body. I do understand that it would have a great effect on the human body, but I don't like how it is worded that way. So, how far away can you be to use this pinpoint attack.
    ❖I would feel better if you had to touch the material that you are attempting to break in AMP Drill. Be this with your hand, or with your weapon.
    ❖AMP Shockwave, How far does your shock wave go?

    ❖Ok, so 150 feet is too big for a level 0 ability. For now, I suggest sticking to about a 30 foot cone, and later on possibly increasing this. I do understand that it is sound, however, it's sound powered by your Aura. It can be heard that much, however, being effective at this rank is not entirely viable. (AMP it up)

        "The word "ignorant" has a nice ring to it, so I don't mind being called that."

        BACKGROUND ▬ Scylla Tempest was born on some isolated islands north of Vacuo during a particularly nasty storm. Seeing it as a sign her mother and father named gave her the name Tempest. She grew up on islands that were small and isolated. Her village was spread out over the tiny islands and the way to get around for most people especially kids was swimming. You could say Scylla learned to swim before she walked. Unlike many settlements due to its small size and isolation, there were no land grimm. Instead the village had to deal with water grimm. Everyone in the village learned from a young age to fight grimm and how to survive. Scylla was no different and from a young age trained and fought grimm. She did receive education but it was incomplete compared to education in Vale. She learned basics such as writing and English as her second language. She developed from an early age a sense of rebellion and freedom as most kids do at that village. She showed early promise for music and her semblance developed quite early. She was able to manipulate sound and produce it at a rate in which she desired. She proved herself a talented musician and despite her rebellious tendencies the village decided that she would bear the village treasure. This treasure was given to them from a trader a long time ago. It was an electric guitar with headphones and would be suited perfectly for Scylla.

        Once she turned 15 Scylla desired to see more of the world and spread her music all over. While it was maybe not the most popular decision, the tribe also valued freedom highly and decided to let her go. Her two friends that were in her band also decided to join her. She promised to the village she would return one day with tales and items of the outside world. Her travel led her to vale where she and her friends started to find out more about the outside world and how bad the situation in a way was. She decided to stick around Vale and see where her journey would take her.

        *DESCRIPTION
        ▬ Rock 'N' Roll is Scylla ability to produce and manipulate sound. She can produce higher sound than normal. Even something simple as whistling or singing. Her semblance works in tangent with her weapon and anything that produces sound on its own already. She can pretty much do anything sound can do. Her semblance takes much less of a tole on her then others. Unless she is using her own voice instead of her weapon, or using some of her more draining techniques, such as AMP drill shock wave she can use her semblance through out a whole fight. It should be noted her semblance is amplified underwater as sound travels faster and longer distances underwater and is almost impossible to tell where it came from. She also drains less while using her moves underwater.
        ▬ AMP it up: Amplifies sound making it louder and projects it outward. The sound is extremely loud and can damage anyone who's ears are not properly protected. Bursting ear drums is entirely possible should someone be subject to the sound long enough. If wondering what a burst eardrum does I would suggest looking it up. This does not discriminate between enemy or ally. This move can be completely blocked from just having proper ear protection. This move also drains very little to almost nothing as it does not take her much to just make her sound louder then normally possible. To clarify it is in a cone shape and projects out and can be effective up 30 feet, heard easily up to 150 Feet.
        ▬ AMP it in: Scylla manipulates the sound she creates but this time directs it into her opponents inner ear damaging it. By damaging the victim's inner ear, the victim is rendered off-balance and nauseous. If the person has proper ear protection then if Scylla can get close to her opponent, there is another way to . She can then transmit sound waves trough the water in her opponent (as humans are made of 70% water.) and preform the same effect long as she can touch the opponent. She may only target one person a time with this precise attack and it drains a small amount compared to that of AMP Shockwave or Drill. This attack must also be decently close to be used, the closer being easiest. Ten feet is as far as you can get.
        ▬ AMP Drill: Scylla amps her sound to the right frequency and by sending the sound-waves she created through a solid object this she can be destroy it. It's done by hitting something with her guitar or touching the object or person. This does not work on humans the same way, though it would certainly be unpleasant getting your whole body vibrated to hell. So it may still damage humans it just cant destroy them like a rock or tree. Though it can work on Grimm, she would need to practice it on grimm first to get a feel for how it would work on them. The AMP Drill while powerful also drains a good bit, though not as much as the AMP shockwave.
        ▬ AMP Shockwave: Scylla creates shock waves from from her guitar that can be used to attack or repel an attacker. This is certainly one of her most powerful moves though it also drains the most.These shock waves are dangerous and If you want to know what a shock wave is go look it up. Way to much info to put here. The range of these shockwaves is 25 feet diameter wise for clarification.


        *DRAWBACKS ▬ Her semblance can hurt her own allies, and if she is not careful herself as well. The more powerful attacks and uses will drain her a lot.         BACKGROUND ▬ Scylla Tempest was born on some isolated islands north of Vacuo during a particularly nasty storm. Seeing it as a sign her mother and father named gave her the name Tempest. She grew up on islands that were small and isolated. Her village was spread out over the tiny islands and the way to get around for most people, especially kids, was swimming. You could say Scylla learned to swim before she walked. Unlike many settlements due to its small size and isolation, there was no land Grimm. Instead, the village had to deal with water Grimm. Everyone in the village learned from a young age to fight Grimm and how to survive. Scylla was no different and from a young age trained and fought Grimm. She did receive an education but it was incomplete compared to education in Vale. She learned basics such as writing and English as her second language. She developed from an early age a sense of rebellion and freedom as most kids do in that village. She showed early promise for music and her semblance developed quite early. She was able to manipulate sound and produce it at a rate in which she desired. She proved herself a talented musician and despite her rebellious tendencies, the village decided that she would bear the village treasure. This treasure was given to them by a trader a long time ago. It was an electric guitar with headphones and would be suited perfectly for Scylla.

        Once she turned 15 Scylla desired to see more of the world and spread her music all over. While it was maybe not the most popular decision, the tribe also valued freedom highly and decided to let her go. Her two friends that were in her band also decided to join her. She promised to the village she would return one day with tales and items of the outside world. Her travel led her to vale where she and her friends started to find out more about the outside world and how bad the situation in a way was. She decided to stick around Vale and see where her journey would take her.

        Atsumori Beat is an electric guitar weapon that combines with Scylla's Semblance extremely well. It is an extremely sturdy weapon that was clearly made to be more than a simple electric guitar. The guitar is waterproofed and unless there are any electric currents going through it may be fully submerged in water. Makes a very effective two-handed mace-like weapon. Dust vials may be used with it to lessen the drain of Scylla's semblance.

        With Atsumori Beat comes a pair of soundproof headphones that can protect Scyllas ears from her own sound or other sounds. These headphones pick up sound from further away and better then a human could. The Headphones also are able to pick up sounds that humans may not be able to hear. The headphones then relay the sound to Scylla in a safe level, meaning that even while wearing them she can still hear. While she can not use echolocation with these headphones they do allow her to hear much better than a normal human.

        ▬ Rock 'N' Roll is Scylla ability to produce and manipulate sound. Sound Manipulation entitles that Scylla can create, shape and manipulate sound, a periodic disturbance of the medium (air, ground, water, etc) that radiates outward in straight lines in the form of a pressure wave. The effect these waves produce upon the ear is perceived as sound. From the point of view of physics, sound is considered to be the waves of vibratory motion themselves, whether or not they are heard by the human ear.

        Scylla can mimic, intensify, hush, and distort, as well as strengthen her own sound she produces. She can never affect anyone else's sound. Her semblance works in tangent with her weapon and anything that produces sound on its own already. Her semblance takes much less of a tole on her than others. Unless she is using her own voice instead of her weapon or using some of her more draining techniques, such as AMP drill or shockwave she can use her semblance throughout a whole fight.

        It should be noted her semblance is amplified underwater as sound travels faster and longer distances underwater and is almost impossible to tell where it came from. All her moves are doubled in the distance they are effective in the water. She also drains less aura while using her moves underwater. Scyllas most powerful uses of sound are her AMP Drill and AMP Shockwave, unless she gets a level above those, that will be her most destructive use of sound.
        ▬ AMP it up: Scylla can release waves, spirals, rings, pulse, blasts, balls, and bursts of sound and use them to damage, push or deflect. This ability has a range or 30 feet before the sound simply becomes noise instead of a useful ability. The aura used depends on the size of the attack. A normally sized attack drains a little, but if the attack gets bigger they start draining a moderate amount of Aura. An attack might need to be bigger if say Scylla wanted to deflect an AoE attack and protect more then just herself. Until higher levels this move drains more aura then stated.
        ▬ AMP it in: Scylla manipulates the sound she creates but this time directs it into her opponent's inner ear damaging it. By damaging the victim's inner ear, the victim is rendered off-balance and nauseous. Should this attack enter the ear of the opponent Aura will not block the damage, unlike Scylla's normal sound attacks. If the person has proper ear protection then if Scylla can get close to her opponent, there is another way too. She can then transmit sound waves through the water in her opponent (as humans are made of 70% water.) and perform the same effect long as she can touch the opponent. She may only target one person a time with this precise attack and it drains a small amount compared to that of AMP Shockwave or Drill. This attack must also be decently close to be used, the closer being easiest. Ten feet is as far as you can get.
        ▬ AMP Drill: Scylla amps her sound to the right frequency and by sending the sound-waves she created through a solid object this she can be destroy it. It's done by hitting something with her guitar or touching the object or person. This does not work on humans the same way, though it would certainly be unpleasant getting your whole body vibrated to hell. So it will still damage humans it just can't destroy them like a rock or tree. Though it can work on Grimm, she would need to practice it on Grimm first to get a feel for how it would work on them. The AMP Drill while powerful also drains a good bit, though not as much as the AMP shockwave. There is a one post cooldown.
        ▬ AMP Shockwave: Scylla creates shock waves from her guitar that can be used to attack or repel an attacker. This is certainly one of her most powerful moves though it also drains the most. These shock waves are dangerous and will cause serious injury if unblocked with aura. If in the water these shockwaves are powerful enough to kill if not blocked with aura. The range of these shockwaves is 25 feet diameter wise for clarification. There is a two post cooldown.


        *DRAWBACKS ▬ Her semblance can hurt her own allies, and if she is not careful herself as well. The more powerful attacks and uses will drain her a lot. It is an extremely sturdy weapon that was clearly made to be more than a simple electric guitar. The guitar is waterproofed and unless there are any electric currents going through it may be fully submerged in water. Makes a very effective two-handed mace-like weapon. Dust vials may be used with it to lessen the drain of Scylla's semblance.

        With Atsumori Beat comes a pair of soundproof headphones that can protect Scyllas ears from her own sound or other sounds. These headphones pick up sound from further away and better then a human could. The Headphones also are able to pick up sounds that humans may not be able to hear. The headphones then relay the sound to Scylla at a safe level, meaning that even while wearing them she can still hear. While she can not use echolocation with these headphones they do allow her to hear much better than a normal human.

        *DESCRIPTION
        ▬ Rock 'N' Roll is Scylla ability to produce and manipulate sound. Sound Manipulation entitles that Scylla can create, shape and manipulate sound, a periodic disturbance of the medium (air, ground, water, etc) that radiates outward in straight lines in the form of a pressure wave. The effect these waves produce upon the ear is perceived as sound. From the point of view of physics, sound is considered to be the waves of vibratory motion themselves, whether or not they are heard by the human ear.

        Scylla can mimic, intensify, hush, and distort, as well as strengthen her own sound she produces. She can never affect anyone else's sound. Her semblance works in tangent with her weapon and anything that produces sound on its own already. Her semblance takes much less of a tole on her than others. Unless she is using her own voice instead of her weapon or using some of her more draining techniques, such as AMP drill or shockwave she can use her semblance throughout a whole fight.

        It should be noted her semblance is amplified underwater as sound travels faster and longer distances underwater and is almost impossible to tell where it came from. All her moves are doubled in the distance they are effective in the water. She also drains less aura while using her moves underwater. Scyllas most powerful uses of sound are her AMP Drill and AMP Shockwave, unless she gets a level above those, that will be her most destructive use of sound.
        ▬ AMP it up: Scylla can release waves, spirals, rings, pulse, blasts, balls, and bursts of sound and use them to damage, push or deflect. This ability has a range or 30 feet before the sound simply becomes noise instead of a useful ability. The aura used depends on the size of the attack. A normally sized attack drains a little, but if the attack gets bigger they start draining a moderate amount of Aura. An attack might need to be bigger if say Scylla wanted to deflect an AoE attack and protect more then just herself. Until higher levels, this move drains more aura then stated.
        ▬ AMP it in: Scylla manipulates the sound she creates but this time directs it into her opponent's inner ear damaging it. By damaging the victim's inner ear, the victim is rendered off-balance and nauseous. Should this attack enter the ear of the opponent Aura will not block the damage, unlike Scylla's normal sound attacks. If the person has proper ear protection then if Scylla can get close to her opponent, there is another way too. She can then transmit sound waves through the water in her opponent (as humans are made of 70% water.) and perform the same effect long as she can touch the opponent. She may only target one person time with this precise attack and it drains a small amount compared to that of AMP Shockwave or Drill. This attack must also be decently close to be used, the closer being easiest. Ten feet is as far as you can get.
        ▬ AMP Drill: Scylla amps her sound to the right frequency and by sending the sound-waves she created through a solid object she can destroy it. It's done by hitting something with her guitar or touching the object or person. This does not work on humans the same way, though it would certainly be unpleasant getting your whole body vibrated to hell. So it will still damage humans it just can't destroy them like a rock or tree. Though it can work on Grimm, she would need to practice it on Grimm first to get a feel for how it would work on them. The AMP Drill while powerful also drains a good bit, though not as much as the AMP shockwave. There is a one post cooldown.
        ▬ AMP Shockwave: Scylla creates shock waves from her guitar that can be used to attack or repel an attacker. This is certainly one of her most powerful moves though it also drains the most. These shock waves are dangerous and will cause serious injury if unblocked with aura. If in the water these shockwaves are powerful enough to kill if not blocked with aura. The range of these shockwaves is 25 feet diameter wise for clarification. There is a two post cooldown.


        *DRAWBACKS ▬ Her semblance can hurt her own allies, and if she is not careful herself as well. The more powerful attacks and uses will drain her a lot. More of a utility semblance if she does not use her draining moves. Her semblance is really the only weapon she has excluding hitting people with her guitar. Her semblance also functions best when paired with her weapon or some type of musical instrument.

However, if you do change one of them, I might recommend taking on a blunt weapon wielding skill. Additional combat skills may prove useful here and a blunt weapon skill would fit well with your weapon. Merely a recommendation.

XXX ○ Uses & Cooldowns: For your first two semblance levels, I'd like to possibly enforce some manner of limitation in both use with a cooldown in between. I just feel that the use is a bit too open-ended. Though even with a use count and cooldown, Scylla will still be able to use her semblance throughout a fight. Just with a bit more restriction.
A recommendation I'd like to make to fit a more flexible use is a 1 for 1 of use and cooldown, with a max number of uses.
Example: Level 0, 1 use for 1 post cooldown with a max of 4 uses/post cooldown.
With this, she could use her semblance a max of 4 times before suffering a 4 post cooldown. However, if she only uses it twice then goes two posts without using her semblance, that will act as her cooldown and reset. Uses can increase as her level increases, while the cooldown is eventually reduced.
Such as:
Level 0: 1 to 1 with a max of 4 [Max Cooldown 4 posts]
Level 1: 1 to 1 with a max of 6 [Max Cooldown 6 posts]
Level 2: 2 to 1 with a max of 8 [Max Cooldown 4 posts]
Level 3: 2 to 1 with a max of 12 [Max Cooldown 6 posts]
Note these uses would only apply for Amp it Up and Amp it In. The cooldowns on the other two abilities I feel are fine where they're at.

        BACKGROUND ▬ Scylla Tempest was born on some isolated islands north of Vacuo during a particularly nasty storm. Seeing it as a sign her mother and father named gave her the name Tempest. She grew up on islands that were small and isolated. Her village was spread out over the tiny islands and the way to get around for most people, especially kids, was swimming. You could say Scylla learned to swim before she walked. Unlike many settlements due to its small size and isolation, there was no land Grimm. Instead, the village had to deal with water Grimm. Everyone in the village learned from a young age to fight Grimm and how to survive. Scylla was no different and from a young age trained and fought Grimm. She did receive an education but it was incomplete compared to education in Vale. She learned basics such as writing and English as her second language. She developed from an early age a sense of rebellion and freedom as most kids do in that village. She showed early promise for music and her semblance developed quite early. She was able to manipulate sound and produce it at a rate in which she desired. She proved herself a talented musician and despite her rebellious tendencies, the village decided that she would bear the village treasure. This treasure was given to them by a trader a long time ago. It was an electric guitar with headphones and would be suited perfectly for Scylla.

        Once she turned 15 Scylla desired to see more of the world and spread her music all over. While it was maybe not the most popular decision, the tribe also valued freedom highly and decided to let her go. Her two friends that were in her band also decided to join her. She promised to the village she would return one day with tales and items of the outside world. Her travel led her to Vale where she and her friends started to find out more about the outside world and how bad the situation in a way was. She decided to stick around Vale and see where her journey would take her.

- Talent: Singing: Just out of curiosity, is she able to change the range of her voice or is she specifically Alto, Mezzo-soprano, Soprano.
- Talent: Sound: Might I suggest adding a range to which she can identify the source of specific sounds.
- Height needs clarification if you are using feet and inches.
- Dislikes: The N/A listed is unnecessary, so it can be removed.
- Vernacular: Please clarify what kind of accent she may have.

- Bonus Talent: For this, I would say to replace Swimming with Aquatic Combat as this term can include swimming as well as fighting in water.
- Just for clarification: Is flying just a dislike or is it a phobia/fear?
- Backstory disconnect: I understand her weapon is considered a tribe treasure. But from what you describe in your background, they seem pretty primitive. Please explain how an electric guitar is meant to be "activated" so to speak without such a thing.
- Primary weapon: As this weapon/instrument cannot work without electricity, I find it impossible for it or the soundproof headphones to work without it or underwater; it defies logic.
- Primary Weapon description: As it's worded for your headphones, they cannot be both soundproof and give her heightened hearing. It just wouldn't work.
- And as Primary Weapon drawback: If a string breaks it would make the guitar harder to play.
- Items: Since the profile update, Scroll is automatically added. So please add it.
- Semblance:
- As a drawback I suggest that she is unable to manipulate sounds she cannot hear or see.
- Clarification: Is the sound only in front of her when she activates her semblance or does it go all around her?
- Semblance (Cont.): Concerning Uses and Cool-downs = In order to use your abilities I feel it would make sense to add at least a 1 post charge up before being able to use said abilities.
- Suggestion: The strength of the sound waves released could be determined by the number of posts used to charge up? ex: she blasts sounds with no build up, and it is the weakest. Or she builds up the sound to her max use and releases it for her strongest blast.
- Amp it In: I have concerns with as, like AMP Drill, it feels too much like auto-hitting without the chance for potential target to dodge.
- Amp Drill: As it stands, both AMP Drill and Amp It In, they feel too much like auto-hitting and there is no limit listed as to what this attack could destroy. If you word it in a way that makes it not auto-hit, I will accept it though. It also needs a 4 post cool down.
- AMP Shockwave: Post cool-down should be 6 posts for me. How fast does it travel? How will it kill someone, please clarify?
- How fast can the sound travel outside of water? Is the sound visible to others?
- Besides changing the pitch of sound, it seems the semblance can only really cause knock-back rather than damage.

        BACKGROUND ▬ Scylla Tempest was born on some isolated islands north of Vacuo during a particularly nasty storm. Seeing it as a sign her mother and father named gave her the name Tempest. She grew up on islands that were small and isolated. Her village was spread out over the tiny islands and the way to get around for most people, especially kids, was swimming. You could say Scylla learned to swim before she walked. Unlike many settlements due to its small size and isolation, there was no land Grimm. Instead, the village had to deal with water Grimm. Everyone in the village learned from a young age to fight Grimm and how to survive. Scylla was no different and from a young age trained and fought Grimm. She did receive an education but it was incomplete compared to education in Vale. She learned basics such as writing and English as her second language. She developed from an early age a sense of rebellion and freedom as most kids do in that village. She showed early promise for music and her semblance developed quite early. She was able to manipulate sound and produce it at a rate in which she desired. She proved herself a talented musician and despite her rebellious tendencies, the village decided that she would bear the village treasure. This treasure was given to them by a trader a long time ago. It was an electric guitar with headphones and would be suited perfectly for Scylla.

        Once she turned 15 Scylla desired to see more of the world and spread her music all over. While it was maybe not the most popular decision, the tribe also valued freedom highly and decided to let her go. Her two friends that were in her band also decided to join her. She promised to the village she would return one day with tales and items of the outside world. Her travel led her to Vale where she and her friends started to find out more about the outside world and how bad the situation in a way was. She decided to stick around Vale and see where her journey would take her.

        Atsumori Beat is an electric guitar weapon that combines with Scylla's Semblance extremely well. It is an extremely sturdy weapon that was clearly made to be more than a simple electric guitar. The guitar is waterproofed and unless there are any electric currents going through it may be fully submerged in water. Makes a very effective two-handed mace-like weapon. Dust vials may be used with it to lessen the drain of Scylla's semblance.

        With Atsumori Beat comes a pair of soundproof headphones that can protect Scyllas ears from her own sound or other sounds. These headphones pick up sound from further away and better then a human could. The Headphones also are able to pick up sounds that humans may not be able to hear. The headphones then relay the sound to Scylla at a safe level, meaning that even while wearing them she can still hear. While she can not use echolocation with these headphones they do allow her to hear much better than a normal human.
        Melee Form ▬ Guitar always in Melee form, can be basically used as a mace.
        Ranged Form ▬ The only range is its sound
        Other Form(s) ▬ Not really a form but should be noted it can be used in the water and underwater as well.

        ▬ It has no range, it only has distance from Scylla's semblance. Just a melee weapon otherwise.

        *DESCRIPTION
        ▬ Rock 'N' Roll is Scylla ability to produce and manipulate sound. Sound Manipulation entitles that Scylla can create, shape and manipulate sound, a periodic disturbance of the medium (air, ground, water, etc) that radiates outward in straight lines in the form of a pressure wave. The effect these waves produce upon the ear is perceived as sound. From the point of view of physics, sound is considered to be the waves of vibratory motion themselves, whether or not they are heard by the human ear.

        Scylla can mimic, intensify, hush, and distort, as well as strengthen her own sound she produces. She can never affect anyone else's sound. Her semblance works in tangent with her weapon and anything that produces sound on its own already. Her semblance takes much less of a tole on her than others. Unless she is using her own voice instead of her weapon or using some of her more draining techniques, such as AMP drill or shockwave she can use her semblance throughout a whole fight.

        It should be noted her semblance is amplified underwater as sound travels faster and longer distances underwater and is almost impossible to tell where it came from. All her moves are doubled in the distance they are effective in the water. She also drains less aura while using her moves underwater. Scylla's most powerful uses of sound are her AMP Drill and AMP Shockwave, unless she gets a level above those, that will be her most destructive use of sound.

        Scylla's first two semblence levels follow the current cooldown table as below.
        1 use for 1 post cooldown with a max of 4 uses/post cooldown. Meaning she could use her level 0 4 times and go on a 4 post cooldown or just once and let do a one cooldown post.
        Level 0: 1 to 1 with a max of 4 [Max Cooldown 4 posts]
        Level 1: 1 to 1 with a max of 6 [Max Cooldown 6 posts]
        Level 2: 2 to 1 with a max of 8 [Max Cooldown 4 posts]
        Level 3: 2 to 1 with a max of 12 [Max Cooldown 6 posts]
        ▬ AMP it up: Scylla can release waves, spirals, rings, pulse, blasts, balls, and bursts of sound and use them to damage, push or deflect. This ability has a range of 30 feet before the sound simply becomes noise instead of a useful ability. The aura used depends on the size of the attack. A normally sized attack drains a little, but if the attack gets bigger they start draining a moderate amount of Aura. An attack might need to be bigger if say Scylla wanted to deflect an AoE attack and protect more then just herself. Until higher levels, this move drains more aura then stated.
        ▬ AMP it in: Scylla manipulates the sound she creates but this time directs it into her opponent's inner ear damaging it. By damaging the victim's inner ear, the victim is rendered off-balance and nauseous. Should this attack enter the ear of the opponent Aura will not block the damage, unlike Scylla's normal sound attacks. If the person has proper ear protection then if Scylla can get close to her opponent, there is another way too. She can then transmit sound waves through the water in her opponent (as humans are made of 70% water.) and perform the same effect long as she can touch the opponent. She may only target one person time with this precise attack and it drains a small amount compared to that of AMP Shockwave or Drill. This attack must also be decently close to be used, the closer being easiest. Ten feet is as far as you can get.
        ▬ AMP Drill: Scylla amps her sound to the right frequency and by sending the sound-waves she created through a solid object she can destroy it. It's done by hitting something with her guitar or touching the object or person. This does not work on humans the same way, though it would certainly be unpleasant getting your whole body vibrated to hell. So it will still damage humans it just can't destroy them like a rock or tree. Though it can work on Grimm, she would need to practice it on Grimm first to get a feel for how it would work on them. The AMP Drill while powerful also drains a good bit, though not as much as the AMP shockwave. There is a one post cooldown.
        ▬ AMP Shockwave: Scylla creates shock waves from her guitar that can be used to attack or repel an attacker. This is certainly one of her most powerful moves though it also drains the most. These shock waves are dangerous and will cause serious injury if unblocked with aura. If in the water these shockwaves are powerful enough to kill if not blocked with aura. The range of these shockwaves is 25 feet diameter wise for clarification. There is a two post cooldown.


        *DRAWBACKS ▬ Her semblance can hurt her own allies, and if she is not careful herself as well. The more powerful attacks and uses will drain her a lot. More of a utility semblance if she does not use her draining moves. Her semblance is really the only weapon she has excluding hitting people with her guitar. Her semblance also functions best when paired with her weapon or some type of musical instrument.

- Talent: Singing: Just out of curiosity from a choir nerd, is she in the Contralto (deeper/lowest female tone) range, Alto range (low female tone), Mezzo-soprano range (semi-high/middle female tone), or Soprano (high female tone) range.
- Alternate term for the fear of flying: Aerophobia
- Please clarify the accent (i.e. is it more Polynesian, New Zealander, etc.). Which I will suggest that you may mix two different accents to get the vernacular that you desire.

*Must Edits/Clarifications*

- The headphones, I will make it very clear no matter how you try to argue or reason it. You must choose one or the other: Do they dampen sound? Or, do they amplify sound?

Her semblance works in tangent with her weapon and anything that produces sound on its own already." These few sentences contradict each other. It says she can only manipulate her own sound (which would mean voice), then says sound made by other objects that can produce sound on its own. Which can mean literally anything.
- It should be stated in the description that she can only use her voice and her guitar that she is, in a way, "attuned" to.
- Your Cooldown Table that is in your description, should be moved to Drawback section or it doesn't count.
- Please list max decibel for the sound itself, if you want to argue that it needs a max limit: the loudest sound recorded blew out eardrums from 40 miles away, heard clearly for 3,000 miles and traveled the earth 4 times. You currently can produce a sound louder than this. This needs a limit or a nerf.
- Asking for clarification: as part of her sounds, this is only sounds from her voice/mouth?
- In response to part two of your rebuttal concerning your semblance, it does need to be mentioned so it's clear in your profile as well as in roleplay. B/c if not stated you cannot do it.
- With the alterations that Scylla can do with her semblance it would not be possible for your aura, which is where your semblance comes from, to move at the speed of sound.
- As well as clarification on distance: as you only say 30 in Lvl 0; People usually mean 30 ft from themselves, but it should be stated on the profile what measurement you are using, as in radius or diameter from herself as the only starting point.
- Also, it should not be invisible, semblance when activated should reflect/come out as your aura color (in this case Red). For sake of roleplay we cannot accept transparent as a semblance color.
- Amp it Up: You say that "The aura used depends on the size of the attack." What is the strongest she can do? What's the average she can do? Push a truck, only a person, etc? And if she has different strengths for it, it should cost a different amount of posts to do.
(Ex: Her strongest takes 3 of her 4 max uses before forced cooldown, while average only takes 1 of her 4 max uses.)
- AMP it In: Needs a separate cooldown from AMP it Up since it's stronger, clarification if touch bypasses aura, and if there is a cooldown should the range attack miss she would not be able to use touch attack. And cannot harm other internal organs with its sound.
- AMP Drill: Add a 4 post cool down minimum, no less. As discussed and debated with others, we have come to the decision that: we need a post count for how long it takes to destroy objects based on relative size or we simply limit the size/density of objects. She must also keep contact with the person for 1 full post, to at least give them a chance to escape.
- AMP Shockwave: If you really want to say this is your strongest attack, I would suggest you put that it can only be used Once per Combat/Fight. People need some kind of indication it is coming so they have a chance to get out of range as it's and AOE that can't be dodged (which is why I mentioned aura color).
- Though tedious, could you please clarify the rest of your cooldown levels. Though it will be lengthier, it will clarify for those that are not combat savvy.
- As for your drawback, it does not balance out with how powerful your semblance currently is.
- As for your drawback as previously stated, semblance has to be visible.
- Please add in your drawbacks as well that: "Aura can block all damage from sound"
