Beringia growled as they stepped on to his wonder. The lights were still lit, and the castle was less drafty, it felt....welcoming in its own way. The years of ice that had come in were gone, and the castle was starting to show new signs of life. It was almost a complete 180 of when they first had come in.
From what Methone said, his wonder would continue to heal as well. His sister though was not with them, and that was a matter in trouble itself.
His gaze cut sharply to Okolnir.
"We find ring. Do not awaken Shiva...." He waited, "Do not flirt with Shiva if awaken. Ring. Then we go home." He needed to keep searching for Olga anyways.

His friend was in even more of a foul mood than usual, and he knew why. There was no shame that he found amusement, even if the situation itself was sad. For the longest time Sergei had wanted his little Outlander loving friend out of his life, and now that she was, quite literally, Sergei's life had gotten worse. The irony was delicious. His amusement was plenty. Even if it bothered him, because the possibility that that could happen to Noah... Okolnir followed after the quietly raging blizzard that was his friend, and smiled, a brow quirking. "I'm afraid my attentions would be wasted on Shiva." He informed the other knight. "She bats for the other team after all~" He couldn't help himself. It was too good. "Honestly, Brr, though it's your wonder, it's still her's, too. You really think she's not going to know that we're here? You also really think you can just find it without getting tested? When did you turn from hard work and dedication to the quick and easy way?" A pause. "I must be finally rubbing off on you."

"Can also stop flirting with sister." His head whipped around to make another point, looking at his friend. Methone....Nadia had ignored him for two weeks now, two long weeks of his sister not speaking a word to him and he was irate.
BUT SHE SEEMED TO GET ALONG JUST FINE WITH HURST/OKOLNIR.
He was half convinced the two were...involved....as well and that was something he needed to just let go because Nadia was her own woman but....
"He's not wrong." Shiva appeared, her arms reaching out to grab Okolnir in a headlock and bring his little redhead down to her waist. "I said you have to come alone, stupid grandson." She raised a brow. "Instead you bring Lana's prodigy, have you seen your grandmama little boy?" She looked down, "We could go see her while Sergei here looks for his ring?"
Sergei instead, ignored the duo choosing instead to look around the castle. "Do no have time for Beringia games. Sedna is missing." He pushed against stone, lifted candlesticks.
"Sedna's missing?" Shiva's grip tightened on Okolnir before releasing and she mimicked a Sergei expression in deep thought. "How can she be missing?"

"I could." Okolnir replied, his tone fluctuating to draw out the very obvious sentiment behind it. "But I'm not going to." People usually didn't get the jump on the red haired man. Shiva didn't exactly count as a person, with the ability to appear and disappear like a phantom (though she technically was, wasn't she?) so Okolnir didn't take it too personally when he got grabbed. He didn't try to fight it, and let his body mold to fit the hold the woman had him in. "I'm just here for moral support, Shiva." He told the woman, placating. "I'm not actually going to help him---Oh no, I haven't, and I don't plan to anytime soon." Apparently he didn't have to worry too long (and his back was thankful, because that curve he was at was starting to burn), as the woman released him. The page straightened and smoothed back his hair which had gotten tussled, and couldn't help but shoot his friend a really look. Bringing up the fact that Sedna was missing to his ancestor (who had also been the senshi's past lover) probably wasn't the smartest move. Still, the cat was out of the bag now. "Would you like to explain or should I?" He asked of his friend.

Shiva thought that the new Okolnir was really a dead ringer for her former best friend, and couldn't help but tease the youngling while she could. It hurt thought, that her best friend could be at her wonder, waiting for the knight but....
She could only control her own family, not others.
"Moral support then? I bet I could make it better." Shiva poofed, taking the knight with her, leaving Beringia to figure his own devices in the world.
Okolnir would find himself in a closed off room, decorated and warm with large desk with various documents spread around. She dropped him off on the bed before dropping into the large desk chair.
"There, he's alone. Now explain what happened, grandchild of Okolnir."
Beringia on the other hand scoffed. If Okolnir was with his relative, it kept two birds with one stone kind of deal. He could look through the castle for the ring without the interference.
He suspected that mentioning Sedna's disappearance would have an effect on his past life self....He just didn't expect her to take Okolnir with her. Again, totally fine.
He could find his ring alone.

Well then. Okolnir found himself deposited on a bed, and quickly took inventory of the room as he pushed himself up into a sitting position. He moved until he could set on the edge, and he rested his gloved palms on his knees. He was suddenly getting the distinct feeling that Beringia had brought him this time around with the full intention of being bait for his ancestor. Clever b*****d. It was rare when the man could one up him without him knowing beforehand... But perhaps his friend didn't think it too far ahead, since he now had Shiva's ear with some very crucial information. He didn't bother with any preamble as his eyes settled on the woman after scoping out the room. "We're not sure how it went down exactly, but apparently Sedna was found out by the Negaverse." He briefly wondered if that term was used back in Shiva's time. "By Chaos." More vague, but summed up the entity that the knights fought. "She hasn't responded to any means of communication, and when we checked out her home, it was obvious she had been gone a long time." Okolnir, like his friend, and by extension like his friend's ancestor, also wasn't one to pull any punches---verbally, anyways. "Methone believes they've corrupted her to join their ranks, so Beringia, the one downstairs, and Methone have been searching." He had been too. Not as actively as the others, but he was keeping an eye out when he was on patrol.

Shiva's icy blues landed on the knight and her gaze only softened a margin. Only because the knight really reminded her of Lana, and it had been....a long time. She had been here a long time.
"Chaos has reign in this domain?" Shiva's brow raised, "When I passed they were on the outer realms trying to reach in." Time had a way though, and the surrounding had fallen long before.
She made some hum sounds. "It seems my granddaughter is more inclined with the knowledge, perhaps because she is a senshi as well. If she is chaos though now...She can come back." She leaned back, "Sergei and Nadia will just have to be diligent." If she seemed perturbed by the idea of Sedna's disappearance, it was well hidden. "Why will you not see your wonder, little Okolnir?" She tilted her head, smirking at him now. "Afraid of your past life? Afraid to accept your knighthood?"
----------
Beringia was pretty sure he was getting closer to his ring, as he felt something....calling to him. Perhaps Shiva's hold over the hidden object was weakened with the distraction he was sure his friend was providing. It seemed like a magnet, tugging him through the halls with their pictures.
He could see damaged faded pictures of Shiva and her history, one in particular a pose with the past life he assumed was Sedna, though he couldn't tell as the face was completely gone and all that was left was the coat and hat.
It drew his attention more then others, because out of all the pictures it was the most....eye catching. Newer. It was like Shiva was doing a large beacon for him.

"Perhaps not here, but on Earth, yes. Very much so. In one city that we all live in, in particular." He gauged the woman's expression to the news, but like the present day Vetrovs he knew, she was ice. Also just like the Vetrovs, she seemed to think there was a chance. Was there? He quietly observed the woman for a bit longer, and couldn't help but grow curious about different things. Did Sedna remember her? Would she? How did Shiva feel knowing that Sedna was running around and--- He smiled back at the woman. "Not afraid, no." He replied with ease. "I honestly just want nothing to do with it, aside from what I need to get by. It's more trouble than it's worth. Methone and Beringia have lost a friend. You're dead, and trapped here." He trailed off for a moment. "I don't see anything good."

"I see." She continued to remain stoic at the discussion and thought that perhaps instead of making her future knight suffer, chose to just...."If that is the case, then we do not have time to waste on old knight traditions. I thought to make him look longer..." She smiled, "If he thinks that sending you here to distract me would work, he should know that we are too much alike for me to fall for it."
To Okolnir though, she made a small scoffing sound. "If you aren't an exact replica of Lana down to the lazy way of handling your knighthood." She shrugged. "Responsibility is never good. It just is. Some take better to it. Some do not."
She sighed, "Your line in particular has the peculiar way of handling it. When in the presence of Lana, I often questioned it but when I would leave....she managed my own and her wonder with such ease. She was a deceptively amazing knight." she smiled fondly. "Perhaps you too, will be deceptively good knight." She tapped her hand on the desk. "Let's give him a moment more. I like to see him THINK he's won." She closed her eyes.
---------
Beringia removed the picture off the wall, looking at the very obvious looking button in it. Part of him was like what the ********, the other part was like.....what did the button lead too.
He pressed it, and the wall shifted, spinning in a arc and pushing him along until he was in....
Shiva's room?
"Vhat?" He looked at Okolnir on the bed, and his ancestor opening her eyes to him, a playful Nadia like smile.
"Jesus." He had been had. THEY HAD BEEN HAD.
"I told you to come alone, so this was my payback." Shiva shrugged, but eventually she leaned over opening a drawer and pulling out a decorated ring.
"But since we do not have time to play games. Here is what you seek, little knight." She smiled cockily at him, "Perhaps you would do good to know that this ring was meant for my beloved Sedna. I had thought to settle with her after our own war." Shiva crossed her fingers, "But it was not come to be, and if this ring can help you save her reincarnation, it will have done its job."

He was rather surprised that Shiva seemed willing to amend her testing in light of recent events. Like the Vetrovs, yes, but certainly more...flexible. Straight to the point and adjusted when the situation called for it. The page really didn't appreciate hearing her go on more about this Lana relation of his. He just continued to hold that small smile though. "I'm not aiming to be, so don't get your hopes up." He replied simply, and anything else that could have been said was put on hold at the appearance of his friend. Secret door, huh? He watched the exchange between the two, and his lips couldn't help but curl up in genuine amusement as Shiva told the story behind her intentions for the ring. The engagement ring. He needed Sedna to come back. Purely so that he could tell her that Brr had suffered taking on more of his knighthood because of her, and more importantly, that his knight ring was also an engagement ring. To her past self. If Brr looked his way, he'd see the light of much amusement dancing in Okolnir's eyes. He was having a field day. "If you're giving him the ring now, Shiva---" Okolnir started before the squire could come over and punch him potentially. "What are you going to do?"

"Technically past knights would disappear once they feel their new knight is ready to take over." Shiva shrugged, "You have the ring, but you are far from being the knight Beringia. Until you even come close, I will stay here. For guidance."
Her gaze lingered on Hurst as well. "Even if it means I have to help this brat too. Whether you want to be a knight or now, Okolnir." She rose a brow. "Someday, you'll have a reason for your knighthood, and you'll see her. I will place my knight fortune on a bet for it."
To Beringia she scrunched her nose, "You still have training. The knights ring will help you communicate and come back to the wonder easier. You can reach out in need. Eventually it can be something greater." She waited, "One day you'll summon something that will be of great aid and this is the first step towards it."
Beringia scoffed, and then punched Okolnir back. "This is not trick anymore?" He didn't know, since the Vetrovs were a mysterious clan. "No lies? Ve can leave then?"
Shiva nodded, "Get back, Find Sedna. Let me meet her...." She waited, "Bring your sister next time too. I want to ask her things as well." And with that, she started to shoo the boys away.
"Get home boys, Leave this old woman in solitude with peace."

"Here's to hoping that day doesn't come." The page gave the elder knight a salute, and then caught his feet as he stood, only to get punched by Beriniga still. Luckily it wasn't in the face. Right now. "Bring Methone?" He looked at Beringia, smiling. "If she'll even stand to be in the same room with you. Good luck~" He looked at the woman, very much recognized that she was shooing them, and then turned to his friend with a raised brow. "Shall we then?" He asked, but couldn't help and gaze back at Shiva. Here, alone, until she thought Brr was ready, hm? Here, possibly, until Sedna could come back? If. A very big if. He actually wondered if she got lonely up here at all, after all this time.

"Oh?" Her eyes twinkled. "Perhaps someone could convince the little pixie to return to me."
She watched them leave, and once she felt their presence disappear from the wonder, went to the picture that was a covered Sedna, the face torn away.
"Stern." She reached up, touching the coat, "It looks like we might not meet again soon."
----
Beringia immediately took Okolnir, teleporting them home and taking a deep breath. "I still have no information of Olga." He looked at Okolnir.
"Tell Nadia, vill keep looking."

They arrived back on Earth, and Okolnir immediately powered down, Hurst taking his place. He pushed a hand through his red locks, sweeping the longer strands back as he regarded his friend. "I will..." He trailed off for a moment "And you take care of yourself, Cody." He eyed the man. "You won't be doing anyone any favors if you wear yourself out. It's all about pacing, my friend." Maybe this should have been the part where he said something optimistic, but he didn't, no, he instead thought of something else. Yes, he would go tell Nadia. He'd do more than that, too.

Beringia powered down, letting Sergei take over and had another deep sigh. Travelling through space with others was tiring, and he was sure the only reason he could do it with Methone AND Okolnir before was because Methone was with them. Her boundless energy had helped.
He did look more ragged though, his face unshaven and unruly. Eyes with small bags forming.
"Much easier to pace vhen I have more information." Sergei shrugged before heading towards his jeep. "Going home to sleep. Then job." Sergei would reach out to his friend when he could.
For now he was going to pass out hard.
