Name: Poppy Anania-Sedgwick
Nickname: Chrys, occasionally, by other Negas. That's about it. She'll respond to pet names from Stroud and Tiberius and basically nobody else (but she'll put up with them from most Generals and Corrupts, as long as there's no bad blood between them).
Age: 17
Birthday: April 2nd, 2000
Sign: Aries
Gemstone: Diamond
Blood Type: A-
Fav. Food: Blueberry pancakes, with banana-flavored anything in close second
Hated Food: Bell peppers in any color, with all other peppers in close second
School: Senior at Romano's Constitutional Haven, transferring to Sovereign Heights Prep School after she graduates

Hobbies:
Running: It used to be more of a thing for Poppy - even though her build is more a result of genetics than any lifestyle choice, she wasn’t comfortable with athletics in her skin, because it just takes one person’s words to ruin any runner’s high - but at this point, she’s kind of over the worry. Poppy is an endurance runner, and maybe she’s not Olympic-level and doesn't have the possibility to be, but she likes the wind in her ears and the rhythm of her feet on the ground. It’s calming. It’s safe.
Negaverse Archives: Know your enemy, but know your friends too - there are so many officers who either came and went before Chrysocolla's time, or left the city, and she loves to find any information about them she can. Even the enemy databases, fallen into disuse as they are now, can tell so many stories about how this war has been going on before her and will go on long after she's gone. Maybe someday those living-but-disappeared Officers will come back to Destiny City, and she'll know them by their uniform and their weapon; the Negaverse is so much bigger than anyone alone, and these are the people who she may never meet, but they were important all the same.
Foreign Languages: She's not particularly good at them (mostly the practical application of knowledge part), but Poppy has a deep-held fondness for linguistics and the mechanics thereof. The conjugation of different sentences in Japanese? How to work with different verb tenses in French? The Greek alphabet? No, she's not good at applying anything she learns, but learning it is fun enough. Maybe someday she'll even be good enough in French to be conversationally fluent (but that's a little bit of a pipe dream, honestly).

Virtues:
Good Memory: Poppy has a talent for holding multiple things in her head at the same time, regardless of the details. It doesn't matter if she does those things, only that she remembers about them; she might not even understand them - but she can keep good lists, if she puts her mind to it, and she has a relatively good visual memory too. Poppy has almost never forgotten anyone's name after hearing it once, if she has a face to put with it.
Organized: The best way to make sure you can remember where things are is to always put them in the same place. Most bits of Poppy's life are routine and structured, variation only implemented if there's a day's warning; nothing is ever messy, nothing is ever disorganized. She doesn't lose things.
Best Foot Forward: Appearances and first impressions are very important, and aside from squabbling with people she detests Poppy really does make an effort to always come off as an organized, calm, competent young woman and to make her peers & compatriots look equally good. She does want to get along with everyone (...to a point), and it's important to enter every conversation with a positive and reasonable attitude.
Reasonable: Poppy's not the sort to claim glory or pride she doesn't deserve or hasn't earned; she may be more than a little volatile with a worrying tendency towards violent murder, but she's not unreasonable, jeez. Took what she perceives as a stupid plan of action? Just explain your actions or walk her through your reasoning and more often than not she'll back down and apologize.

Flaws:
Inner Circle: Poppy has about fifteen to twenty people, at most, that she cares about and trusts; these are the people she'll listen to - and if you're not part of that group, then her capacity to care about you, worry about you, or care about what you say drops to practically zero. As Chrysocolla she's not really supposed to kill her coworkers, so she won't intentionally, but if they don't get back up it's not her fault they're too weak. Poppy doesn't have very many friends and doesn't really want any, either, at this point; she's exhausted her ability to care already.
Bloodthirsty: Some people can stomach their anger and keep it down, keep it silent, keep it calm; that group of people by no means includes Poppy. Poppy is prone to shoving down any unkind feelings until they bubble over, and at this point she enjoys what she can do to people when she's mad, because nobody can ever trace it back to her as a civilian. Why worry so much about the gentleness of the clean kill, of the starseed removal? It feels so much better to have blood on your hands and to tear your enemies apart as stress relief. She doesn't have to be so angry all the time if she uses murder as a coping mechanism.
Shy-ish: Poppy doesn't like having to speak in any situation where she doesn't have at least some semblance of authority and knowledge - it's too big, too frightening; she's happy to be a side character in someone else's story, and she doesn't really want any more. Other people talking is fine - just not to her, and preferably not about her, although she's less picky on the latter.
Praise-driven: God, all Poppy wants is someone to be proud of her, really. That's all she wants. She just wants someone to tell her she's done a good job, that she's done enough, that it's okay - and if she thinks her performance is lacking for one reason or another, that it's not good enough to make the people she cares about like it, she'll go to any length to fix that. She's desperate for that validation.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Aquamarine/periwinkle/whatever you want to call it. Perpetually underlaid by dark circles. Her eyes take more after the Cambodian half of her ancestry.
Hair: High-saturation teal with a 3B texture; usually parts her hair down the middle, giving it two large distinct curly bangs. Hair length varies from chin to shoulder depending on the recency of a haircut, but is usually kept down or in a low ponytail (when length permits).
Face: Round, soft; when she was younger it seemed like she was taking a long while to lose some baby fat, but no, that's just her face. Never wears any earrings (due to not having pierced ears?), and skin is mostly naturally clear.
Clothes: See this.
