Lunaria was still fresh to the whole senshi thing, but something she really did enjoy about the new night life.....was the people she was starting to meet. Something about the senshi hood had such a mysterious appeal and she felt like a hero in the moonlight.
Her veil even made her feel mysterious. She gazed, longingly at said full moon, basking in its light as she waited for...well something grand to happen.
And something grand did happen. Not far from her was the aura of someone much stronger then herself, on the side of order. Wendell had been very detailed in letting her know that the warm comforting feeling washing over her was aura's and things.
She blew a kiss at the moon before heading over, peering over rooftops to see one of the most magnificent beings she had ever seen in her life. She looked like a real life wonder woman.
Be still your fluttering heart Lunaria, for another mysterious powerful woman was in front of her.

More often than not, the Red Lion was more focused on the oily feel of chaotic auras than the clean freshness that was order. When she wore this armor, she was a hunter, and hunt she did, for the parasites that drained the city and endangered its people.
When she felt one of those bright lights heading her way, Tanais paused, more curious than anything. She had yet to sniff out anything interesting, and there were actually few on order side she had come to know lately. Too focused on her 'job', most likely, but perhaps also a little... uncertain. Her mind stubbornly insisted there was nothing to be uncertain about, but the thought of approaching anyone new always came with a desire to just... slip away, rather than confront.
It was the thought of that which kept her where she was, allowing the light to approach. She needed to get over this reticence and start meeting people, because she was only so effective as one person. She needed allies. She needed other people.
Banishing her gauntlets in a more visible sign of peace, Tanais raised a hand in greeting to the approaching figure, red eyes sweeping the girl who approached. The darkness made her dress nearly black, but the white shone. It made a suggestion that the feel of the aura confirmed; this was a senshi. The only experience the mars knight had with those was her awakening, but this was clearly not one of the ones who had been there that day.
"Hey! Are you looking for someone?" She called.

Lunaria obviously knew she and the woman were the only ones around, but it didn't stop her from looking around just in case the woman was not actually referring to her.
"Not in particular." Lunaria answered honestly, as a soft smiled spread over her face.
"You look like wonder woman." She added, "Are you Diana of Themiscyra?"

Tanais laughed, a deep, chesty sound of surprise and delight. Her hand went to her hair to push stray strands back out of her face and she eyed the younger girl, unable to stop the way her lips curled.
"I'm afraid not, though I guess I can see how we might look alike." She said. Tall, buff women with dark hair? Totally. "I'm flattered. I'm Tanais, by the way. Of Mars."
Wonder Woman... what a concept. She hardly felt like the super hero type... though she couldn't have said how she knew Wonder Woman was a super hero. There was a movie, right? She couldn't remember seeing it, but it rang familiar. More memories teasing her that she couldn't reach, the damn things. But... would it really be any better if she did remember things? That was the lurking question.

Lunaria smiled brightly at the woman. "Pretty dang close!" She nodded and came closer, saluting the knight. "That's really awesome! What are knights?" She looked at the gear the girl was wearing.
"Are you guys different then senshi, are you a warrior of Ares? cause well he's the god of war, and also the equivalent of Mars, which is the roman god...."
She waited, "Or...Or is Mars like your planet?"
She waited, "Are you comfortable in the armor?"

Questions dropped from the young girl like stones in a pond, each causing new ripples before the last had faded away. She hardly had time to think up a response to each before there was another and it left Tanais feeling bemused and... just a little overwhelmed. Apparently, kids were not her forte, which was something she hadn't known about herself until now. Discoveries were good, right?
"Ah.... yeah, we're different than Senshi, I think." How was she supposed to detail how knights were different, or what they even were, when she was still learning herself? Gehenna had explained it, but it hadn't seemed terribly important to internalize the explanation. It just was, and that had been good enough for her. What was the point of knowing why?
"Mars refers to the planet, not the god. Mars knights have wonders on Mars. Like how Senshi have planets, I guess, yeah." Her fingers scratched idly through her dark hair, as though the motion could help her work out her thoughts into something understandable. The last question, at least, didn't require a ton of thought and she shrugged, feeling the metal press as she drew a deep breath.
"Its not uncomfortable, but your get up is probably more comfortable to wear." She said as she dropped her arm. Her chestplate made a metallic thunk as she knocked her fist into it. "Its not restrictive and I don't get hot, so its good enough for me. Armor's more about protecting than being comfortable."
"What's your name anyway, Miss Twenty-questions?" Tanais said as her lips twitched into a grin.

"Senshi have PLANETS?" Lunaria made a small motion towards her mouth, the implications just fascinating. She had no idea they had 'planets' out in space. She assumed space, though because where else would they be?
"A wonder on Mars??" God the things she was learning today. She had so many questions and she was about to unload them on Tanais when she asked for her name.
"Oh, hey, yeah I am so sorry!" Lunaria smiled sheepishly before taking the bottom of her dress and curtsying politely for the knight. "I am Lunaria, the senshi of Lunaria."
She waited, "I was awoken not too long ago. To the senshi life....other wise, I am also a bit new to Destiny City." Her smile returned in full bloom as she stepped closer to Tanais. "You're right, but I guess we live in modern society, I would hate to see you uncomfortable trying to battle." She looked at the lion very intently though it seemed she was staring at Tanais's chest.

Oh boy... She might have bitten off more than she had intended to, bringing up planets. How did this girl not know about that? It was her thing, wasn't it? You'd think someone would have explained it, or something, at least. Senshi fundamentals program. Something.
Lunaria of Lunaria. Tanais felt her mouth twitch in a smile of amusement. Someone had been clever, there. She wondered if Lunaria regretted her name yet, or if she'd come to with time and watching the smiles whenever she said her name and sphere. Poor thing. The knight was glad her own name was something more... sensible. Whatever 'Tanais' meant when it wasn't a river or a city.
The curtsy was a pretty one and feeling obligated, she returned with a hesitant, stiff little bow of her head, stopping short of actually bowing back. Was that just something this girl did, or was this how powered people were supposed to approach each other? If so, some people were going to be very disappointed in how Tanais approached things.
"Ah yeah... its kinda hard being new, so I feel you on that. I was purified from a Negaverse agent, I'm told. I don't remember anything before that, so its kinda like I'm just starting out too. Kinda tough, because on one hand some people assume you have all the answers because you're a knight and not a page, but on the other, people find out you purified and they think you don't know anything even though you had people to fill you in afterwards." She shrugged, past experiences leaving a sour taste. The taller woman blinked as Lunaria approached, eyes on level with her chest, and watched as she was studied, the intricate detail of her breast plate poured over with interest.
A master had crafted it, if it had even been made by human hands. One solid piece of brass, as far as she could tell, the details had been hammered into it to a fine degree so that every strand of mane stood out, every tuft of fur and the flawlessly smooth curves of its eyes and teeth. It might have been awkward for some, having a young girl stare at her chest, but with such a fearsome cover it was hard to feel unprotected.
"You were awakened?" She asked, turning the question-asking tables around. "By something, or just... spontaneously? I hear knights just have their weapon poof, appear out of nothing when they awaken. Are senshi different?"

Lunaria smiled bloomed as she watched the woman's face watching her own. The bow made her gaze widen and a small laugh escaped. "You are super amazing and very knightly." She nodded, and didn't elaborate on her bowing. As far as she knew, she was the only senshi so far to do it.
"Oh wow, so you were bad side, turned good side?" Lunaria rubbed her chin, "Well those are relative bad and good terms since neither side is ever truly right. What made you want to purify? How did you do it?" She blinked, "Wait sorry, those are personal things. Don't worry about those questions."
"By a cat." She answered after she had her fill of Tanais's chestpiece. It was so ornate and detailed and she wondered if all the mars knights had armor like that. "I fought one of the corrupt senshi of the negaverse. SUPER pretty ark blue and sparkles and had some sort of stardust magic." She blinked.
"So like...Knights just happen? That's so weird! You guys don't have to rely on the talking cats?"

Tanais had a hard time not preening, her fingers running back over her hair in an idle check for loose strands. The praise brought a warm smile to her face as she braced a hand on her hip and stretched a little, feeling good in her skin.
She knew she was a strong person and if not super amazing, at least somewhat formidable. But it was nice to hear someone say it to her, whether meant or not. She waved a hand finally, clearing away the appology for the personal questions.
"I've... heard of those cats, I guess? But I've never met one. I guess Knights have their weapons appear when they need them, and when they take hold of it, they power up. Kind of convenient that they don't need some talking animal for it, but then again, who decides if they need it enough? Who decides when they've earned their next rank? I have no idea. As for me, I don't mind telling you because there isn't much to tell." Tanais shrugged her heavy shoulders.
"I don't remember anything before the purification. I've been told I was half merged with a youma and that youma was taking me over, so I purified before it could. Cosmos, the senshi who guards the Galaxy Cauldron, showed up and she took me to meet a bunch of other senshi who were part of a court, I guess? And they purified me all together. I guess it takes a lot more power to purify a half-youma than it does regular officers."
She skated right over talk about 'no side being truly right', because she had strong opinions about that, and things were going so well she didn't really feel like starting an arguement about it. One she would have to win and would probably end up with a senshi girl who didn't like her much. Not that she needed to be friends with anyone... but any friends at all was probably a good thing to have.
"So is there like, an interview process with the cat or whatever? How does it know you're ready to be a senshi? Do they upgrade you too?"

"Merged with a youma?" Bright eyes widened and then she reached out, and even if Tanais was a bit more standoffish, she was getting a hug. "No offense but that sounds really terrible and I am really glad you were saved before it took you over completely!" She knew of Cosmos only because of the guidebook in the phone. The all powerful guardian of the cauldron where senshi and knights and others go to be reborn.
"Nope. They just kind of find you." She laughed, "You know, exactly like cats do. Wendell found me, right in the middle of a battle. Got powered up, now I'm a mysterious hero or villian of the night."
She finally let go of the woman. "Sorry, I'm super touchy feely and what not. Hope that didn't make you upset?" She stopped, "Um I don't know about upgrading yet, since I haven't gotten there, but in our little guidebook it says they do!" She pulled out the smart phone and moved it to show to the woman.
"Wendell said we can find a lot of things on here. Apparently I can text knights too if they have some sort of upgraded ring?"

Startled, Tanais lifted her arms as Lunaria threw her own around her, standing awkwardly for a moment with the pressure barely felt through her breastplate. It took a while and some slow blinks, before her arms slowly fell and she patted the younger girl on the back. Despite the surprise, or maybe because of it, she smiled gently, rolling her shoulders to shrug off the comfort Lunaria seemed to want to offer.
"I'm glad I didn't lose myself too." She said. "So thanks. But truly, I don't remember any of it. It doesn't keep me up at night, or anything."
Finally released, she shrugged, releasing the awkward feelings from the hug. She settled back into herself and her smile widened.
"I don't mind touchy feely at all, really, you just surprised me. I'm a big girl, I don't really get hugs like that often. But it was nice, so thanks for that." A free hand reached to ruffle the veiled hair, brushing it lightly with her fingers. "I don't actually have my ring yet, so we won't be able to try that texting thing out... but I do plan on visiting my wonder sometime and getting it while I'm there. I guess I'll have to figure out how to get that upgrade thing everyone talks about... it sounds useful."
