Work in ProgressMelvin had started placing orders through Rep's store for groceries and the fridge finally had something in it and the pantry had some unperishables. Along with a few veggies from the greenhouse and it wasn't terrible bad. After making coffee, Melvin was in the process of making scrambled eggs for him and October. He at least hoped he liked eggs. He never ever asked if he was vegetarian or had any food allergies. Maybe he should have ordered cereal too?

October was currently curled up on the living room sofa, still half asleep, though the scent of eggs was doing an excellent job at waking him up.
"Any bacon?"

"Top three movie choices, and go," said October, sitting cross-legged on the floor. "I'm indecisive. Are you in the mood for anything?"

morning glories
It was not the first time Nash had come over, but it was the first time he'd come over since October was in the house too. Fortunately, his brother's room was far enough away from Melvin's to not be a concern; that, and October's penchant for sleeping like the dead meant that Nash didn't need to worry.
He disliked staying over - in fact, Nash made it a pointed habit to not stay the full night in anyone's room - but he hadn't made it to the house until after midnight, and had been too tired to go back to the dormitories in the wee hours of the morning.
He was now positioned partially atop Melvin, kissing him slowly and lazily.
"I should shower," Nash mumbled, hair loose and a curtain around his head, but the kissing was nice.

Pit Stop
Lawrence used Melvin's attic as a home away from home, usually useful for cleaning himself up after some kind of strenuous night training, physical exertion or long flying session. The house gave him two strategic bases on the island and it was very convenient to have.
It was also convenient to have various viewpoints throughout the house itself, though he didn't really discuss any of that.
Today he'd gotten back from a long run around the island and flown up to his way into the attic, climbing down into the house and heading into the shower where he'd spent some time getting himself tidied up.
He didn't expect anyone else to be there but Melvin, completely oblivious to Melvin's large number of friends and visitors, so sauntered out of the shower wearing nothing but a towel, his now shoulder length hair still wet. He needed another towel and thought nothing of going to get it.

Popcorning"Alien and Aliens I consider them first choice so they count as one. Jurassic Park. And i just watched Pacific Rim so that can be my third." He said, walking into the room with a bowl of popcorn and setting it on the coffee table before he sat on the couch.
"I could watch anything really. Someone lent me a few of the marvel movies I haven't seen yet. We can look at those." Melvin had managed to accumulate a nice DVD collection on leave and through various trading, mostly scifi or some form of gritty fantasy along with plenty of action movies. Here and there speckled other genres that he just picked up on cover value without knowing what they even were about along with a few TV series box sets. Star-trek was one along with the movie collection.

He turned his head when he heard October call out. "Yeah I just have to pull it out of the fridge unless you want sausage instead. Want any toast?" He asked, lifting the pan for the eggs and depositing them on two plates before he went over to the fridge and pulled out the bacon. They could have BLTs for lunch later.
The coffee was nearly done and it smelled amazing and would be his next stop once he got the bacon done.

pit stop
Nash had been idly dozing in Melvin's room for the better part of an hour, if only because he was feeling particularly lazy and hadn't wanted to walk back to the dorms after a particularly engaging afternoon. But it was getting later, and he didn't like to stay too long, so he dragged himself up with a yawn, kissed Melvin goodbye, and stepped out to try and figure out where his shoes had gone.
He did not expect to run into Lawrence of all people, standing half naked outside of the bathroom.
"What the <******** - "

"Toast is good," said October, and slowly began the long process of sliding off of the couch. Legs first, then the rest of him, pushed up until he was vertical, October stretching his arms up above his head in an effort to work out the kinks of sleeping.
He padded over to the kitchen, peering around Melvin.
"Need any help?"

October had seen both Alien and Jurassic Park, but not Pacific Rim. He gazed at the DVDs littered in front of him with a studious, intent expression that clearly said he was thinking this over very, very carefully. Movies were important, after all.
"Feelings on this?" he asked, holding up Captain America: The Winter Soldier. "I've seen up to here, I think..."

morning gloriesIt was nice to have Nash over for the night and despite him debating on going home, some cuddling and kissing helped keep him in bed. Having Nash there had him falling deep into sleep and when he woke up, he was groggy and hesitant to even leave the bed for as long as Nash would stay with him. The warm weight of him coupled with warm, morning kisses had him smiling and kissing him back lazily with struggling focus. "You could...I'll follow in a bit..." He muttered, usually up and alert for the possibility of a shared shower but finding it hard to keep his eyes open. His hair was a mess of blonde and white curls in all directions, a constant sufferer of bed head.

work in progress "Toast? If you want to pop a few slices in." He said, turning to lay down a few strips of bacon one by one into the ban and then went to grab a plate and a paper towel. Once prepped, he went and made himself a cup of coffee.
"You don't have any allergies? Any foods you hate?"

Pit Stop
Lawrence was startled by Nash and immediately wished he had a lot more towels and larger ones. He hadn't been self conscious for a while, it had been easier not to be when he'd been so very clearly convinced that he was a divine creature beyond the reach of mortals. It had been impossible to feel anything but disdain for people who looked on him and did not count themselves blessed.
These days it was different, he was still superior, but it was a superior state beset with flaws. He was thin, very thin, even in his present healthier state, almost in a healthy range and with lean wiry muscle. He'd left his hair alone and was surprisingly fuzzy all over, mostly blonde. He had very dramatic looking tattoos of angel wings on his whole back and those in particular were not for anyone's eyes, especially not Nash's.
Apparently even in the shower he wore two necklaces, one with a small glowing bag on the end, the other strung with a smiling ring.
He awkwardly crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes at Nash.
"Can I help you?" he said, utterly tense and practically bristling.

A small snort of laughter escaped against Melvin's mouth. "Why do I think you're gonna fall asleep instead?" Nash asked dryly, and ran his fingers experimentally through the messy curls, pressing another lazy, relaxed kiss to his lips, one that lingered a little more than the others if only because he was feeling particularly generous.
"I'm starving. Shower, then food."

October had shuffled over to the refrigerator and opened it before realizing that toast did not, in fact, go in the fridge. He shut the door again and meandered over to the counter, reaching for one of the loaves and undoing the twisty tie to slide a few pieces out.
"I don't like bland things," October said contemplatively. "I'm allergic to most shellfish and penicillin but not much else, I don't think. What about you?"
