If there was one thing Soleil missed dearly about life before Deus, it was having her own bathroom. Or, well, a bathroom she shared with her sister, but Luna was only one girl, not 2 entire dorm floors filled with ladies all clamoring for a spot at the mirror or a turn in one of the showers. It was, at times, annoyingly overwhelming. Now was blessedly not one of those times. It seemed she'd managed to find one of the few times the bathroom was more or less absent of other bodies. Soleil wasn't the shy sort, not even a little bit, so it wasn't for fear of being seen in the buff that made her thankful for this rare and precious moment of near solitude. It was the abundance of towels she knew would be waiting when she stepped out. The prime real estate at the sinks. The counter space for her clothing and make up bag! She was just so delighted. In the shower stall, tucked up on the top shelf with a dry towel, her phone was playing music above the sound of the shower spray, and she was singing along with it. The song, Beautiful Trauma off P!nk's new album.

Nora's footsteps weren't particularly loud, but the first piece of armor she dropped to the floor was. Clank. Clank. Clank. She'd managed quite a sweat and let out a sigh of relief as she peeled herself out of her metal shell. Her scarf and coat quickly followed. Quite frankly, if the bathroom had been full again, she would have sweet-talked her way into sharing a shower with someone. Forcibly sweet talked. Nothing was more gross than the feeling of being unwashed.
"Lovely tune," she called over the music as she dropped the last of her clothes and began to rummage for her bathroom essentials.

That initial clang had Soleil jumping in her shower stall, a little yelp managing to escape her lips before she'd stopped herself. What the ******** was that?Bjorn offered no helpful answer, only a curious rumbling to accompany the teen peeking through the curtain of the shower stall to find the source of the sound. Which was apparently armor? Dark brows arched as she eyed the ornate pieces on the floor, but as she followed the long line of leg upward color rose on tanned cheeks and Soleil realized who the armor, and the voice, belonged do. Nora, from speed dating. Nora who'd said enough to catch the teens attention without really saying much at all. Nora, who she hadn't seen again since that meeting. Well, she was certainly seeing a lot of her now, and it was distracting enough that Sol's response was delayed. "Merci," she slipped, before answering in English. "Thank you."

Halfway into her armor discarding, Beatrix asked why she didn't just go back to Evan's shower. You know, the one with all her beauty products and privacy and such? Truth was, Nora had overexerted herself and hadn't thought about heading up an extra set of stairs worth the effort. Besides, one couldn't socialize nearly as much that way. Socialize. Yes. Unlike Soleil, she didn't recognize the other girl at first. It wasn't anything personal: Nora was fine with faces but not so much with names, meeting circumstances, and such. So there was a small familiarity, but beyond that she was just another would-be admirer, and this was something the Sun was used to on a small island like Deus. She flashed a small smile nonetheless as she unraveled her towel and slung it over her shoulder. "Didn't scare you, did I?" she asked.

"Um." There had been a question there, Soleil was sure of it, but as Nora turned to face her, damn near naked as a jaybird, there appeared to be a slight disconnect between ears, brain, and her ability to form answers. "Not scare, non." She mentally kicked herself, which seemed to reboot things enough for her to stop acting like a ******** scared virgin. A smile finally appeared on full lips, and with it the rest of her usual confidence returned. "Just want expecting a knight to wander in here. Deus is weird, but," she left it open, shrugging bare shoulders instead. There was happy clinging to the side of her face and neck, and she reached up to smooth it back, darkness bleeding into bright colors as it settled against her back. She still had the outer curtain more or less covering her, but she was no longer clutching it to her chest as she had been when she'd initially poked her head out.

She chuckled. "Ah, well, I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm a knight. That implies I'm on my best behavior~" Among other less tasteful things. Easy as you please, Nora started the shower and continued as if she wasn't enjoying startling the other girl. "What are you then, dear? A princess, surely."

Soliel blinked, pale eyes tracking the nude figure to the shower. There wasnt an ounce of modesty there, or at least non at the moment, and that was, well, attractive. The whole package was. The question prompted a rather thoughtless response. "I'll be a princess if you want me to be." Which ended in a laugh, and a rather lavacious smile. Flirting, and hard, without even really realizing it.

Over the sound of hot water, Nora laughed as well. Not mocking, but more of a bell chime. She pulled her hair back and began to layer shampoo in it, talking to the air more than the other hunter. (She was a mirror, albeit one with a voice. She reflected what Nora knew and wanted to hear, and that was all that was necessary.) “Where have I seen you before?” she asked. “Not in Sun, yes?”

Amber eyes lingered for a long moment more before the trainee was ducking back beneath the spray of her own showerreachung for the body wash and the mesh loofah she'd brought with her. "Not in Sun," but she said it with a small chuckle, enjoying the irony. "Speed dating," she offered up as she got her loofah suitably lathered and began scrubbing over her shoulders. "I don't remember what the topic was, but you were my first date that night." And very memorable, though apparently Soliel hasn't left the same sorry of impression. She thought about that for a moment, feeling out whether or not that mattered. A little, but not enough to have soured her opinion of the other woman. Especially not now .

“Ahhhh yes,” she said with satisfaction as it began to click. “Sol, no? I knew I couldn’t forget someone with hair like that.” Of course, she had. People ran amok with hair dye at Deus, it practically defined some. Pretty girls and boys and those otherwise. Beatrix has a better time remembering, and she got distracted just by thinking of food. “I’d considered it myself,” Nora went on as she lathered. “Dyeing it, I mean. But in the end, I think I’d be too lazy to keep it up. Maybe temporarily sometime, though, for a party. Change things up.” She paused to tilt her head back and let the water rush over her face and hair, ears plugged so she could dive in so to speak. “My apologies, dear, I’ve been around a lot of different faces these past few months,” Nora said graciously afterwards, squeezing excess water out. “Too many in passing. Almost forgot someone held that speed date event to be honest. What a small thing that was...”

Soleil grinned, pleased that Nora seemed to have remembered. "Oui, that's me." Rinsed and clean, the trainee grabbed her towel as she turned off the water. Wrapping it around herself and tucking one corner in to keep it upright before leaning against the wall near where the other woman was washing. "They make temporary color. Vivid, but only lasts until you wash it out." Tipping her head back against the damp tiles, she grinned. "They even have some that changes color with temperature changes." She'd considered playing around with that, but she hadn't gotten her hands on any yet. As the topic slid back around to speed dating Soleil rolled her shoulders in a small shrug. "A bit disappointing. One of my dates wasn't actually there." To be fair, the other two had been pretty memorable, but aside from a little pleasant conversation she hadn't gotten much out of the evening.

"Do they? Hmm..." She washed in silence for a minute and then began to squeeze the water out.
"They didn't show up? Honestly, I thought everyone was shacking up here," Nora said. "Or else looking for an excuse to. Ah well. Waste." When her hair was more damp than wet, she began to apply a little mousse. "I hope your night wasn't terrible, dear."

"They do." It wasnt so much a confirmation(that really wasn't needed) as something to satisfy the need to respond. Soleil was listening, but she was also watching, which meant she was distracted enough that part of her mind was running on auto pilot. Thin fingers were working through the multicolored lengths of her hair as Nora asked more about the date night and Sol shrugged. "My night ended alright, no complaints really, it just wasn't what I was expecting from it." What agreed been expecting was a hook up. What she'd gotten had been a snuggly nap with Zane and Sid. It'd been great, just different. "I think the cookies kind of put a damper on things though." She chuckled. "They'd been laced with something that made everyone cuddly as ******** class="quote"> medigel
