Physical Description: Midais stands out in most crowds, standing 6’3” with a head full of copper colored curls that in short looks more like a gigantic mop glued on broad shoulders. Dusted heavily in freckles and bearing a large grin he gives off the general impression of being boisterous and rather fit for a man his size. There's a long jagged scar running down and under his strong jaw line and another across his his full lips, and if you ask him how he got them the story is likely to change each time to something more absurd than the last.
Personality:
A rather overwhelming personality Midais exudes self-confidence and general good-heartedness despite his sizes and rugged appearance. If anything he feels some need to always portray his best and to encourage others around him to do the same and of course bring some sort of attention to himself in some way. Being the almost youngest son it was easy to be lost among the sea of his brothers so it didn’t take long for Midais to adapt to trying to be louder and more noticeable from the rest. Of course having a lot of siblings and being the one stuck almost in a middle in some way he also got use to playing peacemaker among them all when fights broke out. While he can hold is ground in a fight he prefers if everyone gets along and that what happens, happens in good sport instead of bad feelings and hate.

If being a hunter has taught Midais one thing, it is always pushing through to the end not matter how despairing the situation becomes (dull, threatening, or even questionable) he will see it through until it is solved or over. The same with someone needing help, it doesn’t matter how many times they tell him no, or bugger off, or not to worry he will stick with them hoping to help in some way. The downside being that he tends to be rather brash in nature. It isn’t hard for Midais to be brash and to quickly leap into things without thinking too much into it, from not listening to the entire story, sticking his nose in where it doesn’t belong, or even just going full force and putting everything that he’s got into something when he probably shouldn’t be there in the first place. The confidence of believing he can solve any problem and the tenacity to never give up doesn’t help when he rushes into sticky situations and needs help from others to get out of it.

Being from a small hunting cothold and living with so many siblings doesn’t help Midais from meddling into other people’s business or their personal feelings, even if he means it on good intentions. He has a habit of always wanting to fix any sort of problem that arise, his or others, and he tends to stick himself into places and positions that he shouldn’t be in. It doesn’t help that he has a tendency of being rather blunt as well, in his mind lies only make things more complicated so Midais will easily state things as he feels instead of dripping it all with sugar and honey.

History:
Midais is the second youngest child in his family of seven, his only sister being only two years younger than him the precious baby while dealing with five older brothers. He spent most of his childhood living in a small cothold, filled predominantly with hunters being the major source of trade, income, and in short the way of life for almost everyone living there. Even from a young age Midais grew up like a wild child in the woods, learning everything from trapping, to tracking, and of course the constant celebrations of the best kills from hunts. At a young age Midais did everything he could to be a hunter honored at one of the great festivals, seeing it as a goal that he hoped to accomplish at a younger age than his brothers had. He spent a great deal of his time training and learning, from elders in the cothold, to spending a great deal out in the wood among others. This however wasn’t meant to be, a week before the large hunt for the winter festival riders from High Reaches arrived and Midais was recruited to be a candidate. Of course this mean a great honor at the feast either way and Midais with new goals left in hopes to be a new rider.
