Dai walked into the busted up part of Town, a place he had never really been to before. He hadn't actually come INTO Town before, so he wasn't familiar with it, but this... It was like something from an apocalyptic Wasteland or something, and he was actually a little unnerved by it. But he refused to let himself freak out. Instead, he just found his way to the roped off battlefield, and clambered into it. He then turned around, and looked around for his opponent, curiously. He expected a challenge, because whoever they were had made it along to a second battle, just like he had, and that meant they probably, unlike Kenton and himself, had probably been practicing against others.

Sy was mentally hyping himself up after his first battle. When his name was called through the speakers, he walked out into the chosen stage, the ghost town of before. The rusted broken beetle car has not been moved since the last match... Up ahead, he saw a figure, which he hoped was real and not just a ghost. "H-hey, I am over here," he called out. "Sy, Sy Klingensmith, that's me. So uh, are you my opponent?" he squinted his eyes, trying to see who it was... Aria Starstone hiii Aria(: after intro post could we roll damage posts and then fill them in with rp? i don't have a day off until tuesday D:

Dai turned to face his opponent, curiously, then grinned. "Hey. I'm Dewydd... Dai. Call me Dai. And yeah, I'm your opponent for this round. C'mon over, let's see how this goes!" He moved towards the center of the ring, an easy grin on his face. He did not expect to do amazingly well in this battle, but he was ready to give it all he had, too.

He walked towards a male's voice and his opponent came into view. This one here was way more intimidating than his last one... This guy here... He looked like he knew what he was doing in this tournament. Sy swallowed hard, a trickle of sweat already made its way down to the side of his face. "Hey, Dai, get ready.." He needed to give it his all if he wanted to win this time. Taking out his black hairpin, he laid Phiophaeia gently on his open palm and watched her transform into scythe form.

"Huh... Two long staved weapons..." Dai said, with interest. He summoned Fiachra, and the oversized glaive was soon in his hand. "This should be a very interesting battle." He grinned and shifted a little closer, taking on a sturdy stance, watching the other man for his attack. FrostyPeaches No problem, but you have initiative, so you gotta go first. razz

HP 40 / 40 Damage 13 - 6 = 7 "Oh, a fair fight then," he tipped his hat towards his opponent. But what's a fair fight? he didn't get enough battle experience to know how to win. Gripping tightly onto his scythe, he swung with a mighty force. "Hai-yah!" Aria Starstone oops. can you tell i am still a newb in this shop XD

Dai grinned and nodded. "Exactly what this is about, I assume!" He winced at the hard hit from Sy's scythe, and took it, then made a kind of jabbing motion at the other man with the end of his glaive. It was not a very good attack, but it at least connected, so he could be sure that he was able to take down SOME of Sy's shield. FrostyPeaches No worries. We can just roll from here, and do the RP later.

HP 37 / 40 Damage 11 - 6 = 5 "good luck to us both." He hated it but blocked Dai's hit with his scythe. He had blocked it but staggered back a bit to get a hold of himself before he lunged in to deal another blow at his opponent again. his scarf flailed in the wind behind him as he swung. Aria Starstone ty ty, i can stay up for one more hour. i am requesting lesser hours this year for work.

Dai gave a soft swear and managed to use the end of his glaive to block SOME of Sy's attack, barely, but it left him only able to strike at the other man with the butt end of the glaive's stave, doing barely any sort of damage to Sy.

HP 35 / 40 Damage 7 - 6 = 1 Dai's glaive's end gave his side a prod, it wasnt a hard blow but it still hurt. "Good aim," he admitted, for if Dai used more strenght he would have crumble to the floor for a moment squirming in pain. His outfit sort of hindered his movements right now. Clothes feeling heavy against his skin. He lifted his scythe and swung. Aria Starstone yus i have 9hour shifts and they're gross.

"Yours is quite good as well..." Dai said in return, moving to one side. The seventeen year old man considered his opponent for a long moment, then took two steps backwards, then darted forwards, swinging his glaive at Sy's side.
