Pyro was all minty and shiny in his new general life, even if he felt sometimes sick and struggled to keep Mamushi at bay. The snake was louder and louder then ever before, and to him, it felt like the youma side was STRONGER as he was a general.
He wondered if it changed based on the half youma, because Cinnabar said the voice disappeared. Maybe if he got used to his general body, the snake would disappear.
Also, with the perks of general hood, he could now stand on equal footing with Zircon (but not for long because leg heist 2018 was gonna be a thing).
And who better to help him/forced to be involved was two newly assigned Lieutenants. He had no idea who they were, but he was super excited and jumping in the negaspace office room, READY to see who his little UNDERLINGS WERE.

She knew who she was assigned to. Lieutenant Harmotome had harassed the s**t out of the unfortunate captain who had delivered the news of where she needed to report. At first she had been pissed. She liked working under Aurostibite! How could they just change it!? Then upon learning who it was, Harmotome went through a wide range of emotions. Glee. Excitement. Dread. Anger. Denial. Back to excitement. Then acceptance. She guessed all those times she went looking for Pyrophanite to harass him, the higher ups took as her desire to work under him. Well. It'd work out! After all, she had that deal going with General Zircon, and she had a feeling the woman would be pleased to hear that the Negaverse had aided them in their mission by, quite literally, placing her beside the half-youma General. That, was what made her glee. Plus, well. When Pyrophanite wasn't pushing her off of building tops, or using her as senshi bait, or jeering that she get her a** beat during fights, he was rather fun to be around. Harmotome was now content with the turn of events. So it was with the utmost cocky confidence and swag that Harmotome strolled through the office door to greet the awaiting Pyrophanite. " Vhat up, nope rope?"

Callooh, callay, o frabjous day-- or something like that. Is that how it went? Carnotite hadn't actually ever read Alice in Wonderland or Through the Looking Glass--those were the titles even, right?--and well. At this rate, she might take them up in her leisure reading though. Or at least, that was if her routines didn't change much after this new update.
She was assigned a new General.
The electric half-youma had been sparkling with glee when she'd gotten the reassignment, joyous at finally having an update to her... situation. Not that she'd ever actually heard of this General Pyrophanite, but hey. Better than the random temporary assignments she'd been having since she came into the Negaverse.
The bulbs on her head were bright as the smile on her lips as she clicked her way down the halls to the office where she was to report to Pyrophanite. Her cheer remained firmly in place as she spotted the other Lieutenant. "Hello," was the automatic warm greeting, before her two glowing eyes--her third eye on her forehead shut currently to avoid the trippy vision keeping it open caused--turned to the General.
And all three eyes opened wide and stared quiet intently at the half-youma there before her. She'd... not been informed of this when told of her new assignment. "General Pyrophanite..?" Her cheer and warmth faded slightly in bewilderment as she half-expected to find this was not the General, but perhaps a completely different higher up, perhaps also waiting for Pyrophanite.

his face IMMEDIATELY fell when he felt, and saw sort of, Harmotome in the room.
"Oh its just boob for brains."
When the second one came in, questioning his identity, he turned to look at her but immediately felt blinding.
"ACK. TURN DOWN THE LIGHTS MAN." She was one bright figure of a human being sort of, though he could feel the presence of half youma that was merged with her. He hadn't met a lieutenant that was half youma'd before, and was curious if they had chose him because he was also one.
"Harmotome, and you must be Carnotite...." He wanted sunglasses, like really bad.
"Jesus ********, Harmotome, get me some ******** shades, I can barely see this chick." First orders already, gotta break them in fast right?

Harmotome turned to blatantly stare at the other lieutenant that walked in. She was just plain weird looking. Were those light bulbs coming out of her head? But apparently she was a half youma as well...or a half baked toaster experiment. That was a possibility as well. She also thought Pyrophanite was being a little b***h about how bright this toaster experiment was, but then she remembered that he saw heat, and well...that probably meant this toaster was off the charts. The lieutenant snorted. "How about you teleport your lazy a** to the mall and get yourself a pair?" She replied, and instead made her way over to the other lieutenant. She reached out to flick one of the toaster's light bulbs. "Is this for real?"

Ok well that was not the reaction she was expecting. Not that hers was spectacular and a model of best subordinate, but hey she had an excuse. Him? Not so much. Color stained her pale cheeks and Carnotite stiffened her spine, chin jutting in indignant spite. That being said, she did try to dim the bulbs, though the effect was causing a few little stray sparks around her metal hands till she could properly figure out how to channel the electricity through her body.
That's all the bulbs were there for, after all, just a place to send the electricity in her body. Augmentations to help her direct and utilize her powers properly. But they were at normal level--maybe a bit brighter actually oops she was a bit excited...--and surely she could call out a General for being totally rude, right?
Ok maybe not. She didn't want to be kicked from her reassignment already. ******** style="color: #e5e3a9">"Sorry about that, I wasn't aware they would be so... problematic."The fact the other chick--Harmotome? Ok that was a kickass name--was staring at her didn't bother Carnotite, even if she was feeling a bit odd at how the General was freaking out over the lights. Still, she smothered a smile at the snark dished out to him. It earned her teammate enough respect for Carnotite to give a genuine smile at the slightly shorter--but clearly gifted, goddness hi hello--lieutenant reached up to flick one of the bulbs. The intrusion on her personal space without consent usually ruffled her feathers, but the half-youma made no fuss or huff. "Entirely real," she giggled, closing her third eye again. "Everything is a hundred per cent natural~ Though." She paused and considered that wording. "They were added on after my merger to help me direct around my power, but still effective." She liked her crown!

"it's not the actual light." Jesus ******** man, "I'm a snake youma, my vision got funky so now I see everything in shapes of heat."
He waited, "You're some kind of elemental or something because you're heat signature is literally BLINDING me. It's almost like looking at the sun or something."
He wanted to look away but it would be rude, wouldn't it? God of course Harmotome would make friends immediately too.
"Oh yeah, you're right." Pyrophanite took both Carn and Harm's shoulders in his hands and teleported them to the rooftop of Destiny City mall. "Get me some ******** shades man, god walking around with a star is gonna kill me."
"This is real too." He almost resisted the urge to teleport them right in to the shops but well, people and it was only mid-evening.

Huh. Due to her merger with the youma, eh? Half-youmas were an entirely new world within the already vast thing that was the Negaverse to her. Not even Aurostibite knew a lot about them...so she thought trying to learn as much as she could was good. Plus it was just fascinating. She wished her Da was here and that she could tell him about this stuff. He'd probably find it super interesting too. The lieutenant blinked as the General grabbed her shoulder though, and they disappeared from the office. She recognized the mall roof, having been there quite a few times, and scowled. " Seriously?" She cried. " You are being a little b***h, Pyro." Still, it was obvious that nothing else would happen unless he got his shades. Harmotome scowled. "You two stay here. I do not need distraction of your looks down there." She muttered some other stuff under her breath, and then marched for the edge of the mall roof, where she vaulted herself over the edge to go in through one of the doors.
