As a fairy, Zarina is Small, slender, pretty, fair skinned, has thick wavy auburn hair, and light hazel eyes. During the movie, she wore a pirate outfit.
She also has pointed ears and clear wings on her back.

As a human, Zarina still has most of her features. However, she doesn't have pointed ears or wings as a human being.

☆ Zarina was born at the warm-weather area of pixie hollow as a Dust-keeping talent fairy. She then became the Pirate Fairy before becoming a pixie-dust alchemist.

Determined, roguish, ambitious, not afraid to speak her mind, kind, brave, smart, inquisitive, sneaky, crafty, convincing, persuasive, sly, cunning, tricky, curious.

While experimenting, she discovers that when mixed, pixie dust can change color and be infused with the power of a certain talent. For example, when a small amount of blue pixie dust and a purple feather is mixed, the pixie dust turns purple, representing the fast-flying-talent. If pink flower petals are added instead, it turns pink and it represents the garden talent. However, it goes out of control after hitting a sapling, causing chaos when the tree grows too big. Zarina is expelled from Dust-Keeping and runs away until she returns one year later.

Zarina, now the very first pirate fairy and captain, uses magenta-colored fairy dust to make poppies sprout behind the spectators at the Four Seasons Festival. She then throws dust at the poppies to make them bloom and release pollen, which puts all the fairies in the Fairy Coliseum into a deep sleep. While all the fairies are asleep, Zarina flies into the Pixie Dust Depot and steals the blue pixie dust. The only fairies that were not in the coliseum when Zarina set the poppies off were Tink, Silvermist, Rosetta, Iridessa, Fawn, Vidia and Clank. When Tink and her friends discover that Zarina has stolen the mighty and vital blue pixie dust, they follow the blue light until they reach the coast and see a rowboat of pirates rowing Zarina and the blue pixie dust towards their ship.

After Tinker Bell and the others try to take back the blue pixie dust from the pirates, she takes the experimented pixie dust in different colors representing the different talents and throws it at Tinker Bell, Silvermist, Rosetta, Iridessa, Fawn, and Vidia, swapping their talents.

With her fellow pirates she feels appreciated for her talents and her closest friend is James the cabin boy. Unfortunately, she is betrayed, as the pirates have only been using her to get their ship to fly. With help from Tinker Bell and the other fairies, they battle the pirates and get back the blue dust.

Zarina almost goes her separate way but the fairies offer her to come home which she happily accepts. She returns to Pixie Hollow, restoring all, including giving her new allies their proper talents to have a spectacular show, and, being welcomed again, is able to show her talent called Pixie Dust Alchemy to the other fairies.

Her rebellious nature can lead to trouble since she enjoys being rebellious and breaking rules.

Zarina is much like Tinker Bell, full of curiosity and ending up in trouble when seeking out her answers. She also goes against the advice of what others say.
Upon close inspection, Zarina is the only dust-keeper fairy to have a decorative apron. It possibly serves as a symbolism of her uniqueness and reckless nature.
Zarina is the first fairy we see really walking a lot because she saved her fairy dust for experiments as opposed to flight.

Freerealms OST - Seaside She doesn't have a theme in the movies, but this music seems to suit her well.

Cordelia does what she believes is good. However, she often makes deals with other merfolk for her personal gain. Aside from this, her training as a sea-witch has made her very observant and intelligent when It comes to powerful beings. The fact that Kyto and Buggy are criminals doesn't seem to bother her, as she believes everyone has a reason to be how they are. She states she only acts smart when she needs to be, and often keeps her motives concealed. Hidden under her exterior, Cordelia can be very selfish.

Cordelia was born deep in the ocean from a Cecaelia (Octopus-like mermaid) woman and a human father. Because of her human heritage, Cordelia was not born as a Cecaelia. As a result she was raised by her dad until she became a teenager.

The next few years of progress for Cordelia in the human world, Cordelia wanted to be someone famous as a child and her father always helped her style her hair like the actresses she saw on TV.

Then, Cordelia's behavior began to change. She was always forbidden from going to the beach or even being around large bodies of water. This made her grow curious, and one day- she dove into the ocean.
The reefs were a beautiful sight, and Cordelia began to spend her days afterschool in the ocean. Until one day, she didn't return home. Right before her enrollment into Triton high school, she was found by Ursula- who promised to grant her great power. Cordelia did not trust her, and as a result, Bartha Mains wiped most of the memories of her father in order to convince Cordelia she was an orphan even if that was not the case.

From the shadows, A young Cordelia appeared beside Bartha Mains. Another Sea-witch under Ursula's training. Ursula taught Cordelia the power of song and how to steal voices while she gave the ancient magic to Bartha Mains. Whenever Cordelia tried to learn any ancient magic for herself, Bartha would wipe her memory of it.

Once Cordelia learned Ursula's evil nature. This resulted in Cordelia running away, but not before her entire memory of Bartha was wiped. That was why she couldn't remember who Bartha Mains or Bartha Collins was when they met.

At first, she agreed to learn magic to protect herself. However, other mermaids started taking advantage of her abilities. Later, it is revealed that Cordelia was learning under Ursula, an evil sea-witch who tried to use a mermaid princess to rule all. After learning this, Cordelia fled from the waters and to the surface- Taking a mysterious spellbook with her.

Once she started wandering the ocean, she fought for her survival and her selfish side started to show when she used her power of song to burn Kyto's hands just to get some scrambled eggs.

After finding Kyto and Buggy on their ship, Cordelia agreed to help them. She has done extensive research on legends and different types of sea-magic. The fact that Kyto and Buggy are criminals didn't seem to bother her. Especially after she realizes the first spellbook was meant to belong to Kyto. After assisting them both, Buggy declared that Cordelia was a friend to them and that she was part of the crew.

Because of her more human appearance, her first job was to go to the police station to help out Kyto. Bartha Mains had kidnapped Kyto's lover, Vidia, in order to use Kyto to rule the seas. Initially, Cordelia thought Bartha Mains was in love with Kyto, but she denied it. Without much luck from the cops, Cordelia tried the mall with the rest of the crew next, but they were nearly captured by Marines.

After this, Cordelia and her friends found Vidia's sister, Koishi and they received help from her, too. She told them, it would take the forces of both Captain Buggy and Captain Luffy's crew to stop Bartha Mains.

On the ship, they put up a huge fight against Mains. It is shown that Cordelia became very powerful over the course of time since she used one of Ursula's famous voice-stealing spells to change Vidia human. With Kyto on board, the spell Cordelia placed on Vidia would break along with Mains' spell.

After this, Cordelia meets Bartha Collins and she is given a second spell-book titled 'Magie De La Mains' - stolen from Ursula and Bartha Mains. The very book Bartha Mains was named after as well. Using this book, Cordelia was able to cast a spell to take Collins and herself back in time to find out the truth about their past.

Cordelia often gets into trouble with mermaids who are not satisfied with her magic. Even though she is smarter than the average person, Cordelia also tends to be selfish.

Cordelia is very frugal and knows a bad deal when she sees it. For her age, she is also very intelligent. Like other merfolk, she has the ability to manipulate water and sing beautifully. She has also learned many things as a sea-witch including potion-making, enchantment, and stealing voices.
