	The wee little cub had run off once again, leaving her father in the dust to shake his head. He'd warmed up to the pride and although he still didn't like his daughter gallavanting at least it was here, a safe place. Still she did hear the words on the wind of 'stay safe' or something to that effect. Lief-dido scoffed at the idea of being told what to do with her young life and so she paid no mind to the words. "The moon is so large." Her already wide eyes grew wider as she stared upwards. The moon seemed to engulf the sky. Though she had never looked up before and so to see the light at all was intriguing. She continued this way. Eyes upward instead of forward.

	He was enjoying the light of the moon as it expanded it's brightness across the horizon. It almost threatened to drown out the stars, but that wasn't going to happen. It never did, they still remained, shining brightly as if trying to challenge the moon. Since his eyes were cast skyward he failed to notice the petal colored female as she walked into his still body. When she collided into him he let out a small 'humpf' as the air was knocked from him and he peered over to see who had threatened his space. She wasn't familiar to him, nor were her markings. "Hi?"

	Not the first time nor would it likely be the last. Lief-dido was walking calmly, albeit a little quickly, especially for a cub with her eyes to the sky. Suddenly she hit a very soft and fluffy wall that simply stopped her in her tracks. As the collision occured she squeezed her eyes shut. When the wall made a sound she became stiff. What. Was. That. "Hello?" The pink cub remarked as she took the time to back herself up away from the speaking fluff. When she did so the cub was greeted with a pale pink cub, roughly her own age perhaps a little older, that was just as confused as she was. Everything about him appeared to be a softer form of her own colors though he was distinctly missing the wing marking that had been present on her own pelt. "Who are you?" Her brow furrowed at him.

	Wasn't she demanding. He peered at her curiously. "I, should be asking who YOU are given you were the one who stepped on me." He said a little flustered, however it quickly passed. "I'm Akela, what is your name? You don't look familiar." He said staring at her markings, they were peculiar but very pretty. Her shades of pink were nice too, and the green was a nice contrast. "You're not hurt or anything are you?" His agitation was already gone and he wanted to be sure she was at least alright, though he was certain his body had taken most of her weight and she was likely unscratched.

	The bitter approach to their greetings collided and sparked a flare of attitude from the youth. "Oh? Well I'd argue that you were the cause of this." Her tone was stark and crass, Lief hadn't, in all of her days travelling, run into a cub so discourteous. "By the by I am Lief`dido." Typically she'd finish the statement with saying what a pleasure it was to meet him, but was it really? "I'm fine." Short and sweet, the cub wasn't about to give up that her toes might have been a little sore following their encounter. "What about you?" Her eyes sparkled slightly as she did a once over of him. Concern was taking over her own bitterness and she actually risked a step towards him in favor of a better view. "You seem unscathed though." Golden eyes blinking a couple times.

	He narrowed his eyes at her but he didn't say anything else. "Lief huh." He said saying her name, at least the first half of it. He was please to hear she was fine and she seemed somewhat reluctant to make sure he was alright. He'd take that. Sitting up so he could look at her better he gave a small shake to get the dust from his fur. "I'm just fine." Now that their little moment was over. "Are you new?" He hadn't seen her around before and her markings were definitely unique. He'd of remembered seeing an adult with those, since she had to get them from one of her parents.

	"Yep. That's my name, don't wear it out." The taunt was playful and she smiled largely at him. "I'm glad you're fine." Her tone changed to serious pretty quickly, but her expression remained light and happy. This wasn't all that bad, though her Daddy had had heard other things of their past - it was much darker than their light pelts or even lighter religious views. She was astounded by it all and barely understood a lick of it. "I am, but just to here." Her defenses rose. "What about you, are you new?" Her eyes narrowed as she peered at him. Lief felt entitled to give him the fifth degree if he was going to do it to her.

	He supposed he was new as well, given he hadn't really been in the pride all that long. "I guess I am? I was born here though." He said looking at his feet for a moment. "Are you going to be staying here a while?" He was curious to know more about her and would like if she was going to be here for some time but he understood if she had to go. "Hey, maybe I can escort you around a little bit?" He'd get to know her more if she said yes.

	"Oh." Her brows rose at his response. It wasn't at all what she had expected and so she wasn't sure about what more she could say beyond tilting her head. Fortunately she was saved by him. "Depends how long Dad wants to stay, but I guess if he can't find me then he has to stay?" The cubs logic was sound, in her mind. Of course that left out her fathers opinion on the matter. She shrugged to accompany her non-chalant answer. "I'd love to see more of the pride if you don't mind showing me!" A small gasp released from her and she look genuinely excited to be welcomed along for a tour. "Won't Daddy be jealous!" She exclaimed. "Lead the way!"

	"Well, lets see how long we can keep him from finding you!" He exclaimed excited to be able to show her around. But by her words that meant she'd have to be going sometime soon, which was unfortunate. She was his first new friend. Maybe she could meet Astrea! She was technically his friend. "Okay! Follow me!" He exclaimed and bounded off towards the watering hole first.
