The crisp night air ruffled through Perrie's bright pink hair as he strolled down the largely empty street, the effect of the magic mushrooms he'd consumed before he left his apartment just about peaking. He tugged his long neckscarf up around his neck, adjusted his cap, then shoved his hands into the pockets of his denim jacket and smiled. Rainbow halos around the streetlamps created prismatic star effects, and his head swam pleasantly. A chuckle escaped his lips, the steam from his breath making him laugh and deliberately breathe out to make a bigger cloud in front of him. Perrie knew it was dangerous to be out at night in Destiny City, especially alone. The news reports all warned against it -- monsters, strange people in strange uniforms doing battle with each other, innocent people found dead with no visible injuries. But he'd never personally seen any of these things himself, and he kind of doubted they were real. Besides, he had gone for walks at night in parts of the city that people tended to avoid in the daylight, let alone at night, and nothing had happened. Why should tonight be any different? Of course, it would be more fun walking around tripping if there were others around to interact with, but it was what it was. Racing season was over for the year and most of the other jockeys had left; he didn't think they got high anyway. Oh well, to each their own. He didn't want to think about any of that. Skipping lightly for a few steps, he hummed tunelessly to himself as he rounded a random corner. Truth be told, he had no idea where he was. He knew he'd eventually find his way to someplace he recognized, though; he always did. And he was having fun! Surely that made up for it.

Things had been going so well for her that evening. Isolda had met up with Hania and Guinevere, looking to do a simple patrol around town. She was weirdly proud of herself for bouncing back after everything that had happened in that crazy mirrored world. Honestly, she was worried she'd have given up on the whole Senshi thing after that. Written it off as too difficult for someone like herself to make any difference. Maybe it was the fact that Guinevere, after being seriously injured, was able to go back out again that she felt more confidence herself.
At some point though, they had sensed something dark in the streets. Going to investigate they found themselves looking at a very monstrous sight. The thing that looked like a turtle was roughly the size of a bear. It somehow had wings and Isolda definitely didn't want to get close enough to those claws that it had.
"How does that even make sense?" One thing was for certain though, they couldn't let it just rummage around town. Lucky for them, the streets were deserted around now. She looked over at her partner for the evening. "Well, we ought to at least try." They had the advantage of height for now, and Isolda didn't want to give it a chance to actually use those wings, if they even worked. She knew Guinevere would hop into action with her, so she didn't hesitate to get a running start and leap from the building. Her plan was to land on the youma and do some damage to one of it's wings before it could notice them.
Little did she know that someone had just turned the corner.

It had been a pleasant patrol at first, he kept up when walking himself and would end up purring when carried. If he purred just a bit louder when it was Isolda holding him well no one could hold it against him, honest. But it took a turn for the dangerous when the trio caught the signature of the youma and what a youma it was. The Guardian Cat stared at it in disbelief but snapped out of it when Isolde spoke up. "It's a youma, it doesn't have to make sense!" Hania replied as he moved to be able to support the duo in anyway he could
If they just needed advice he was down for that, but if they needed offensive back up then he could send off a quick call for help then join in the battle. After all his claws were not just for show and his laser was very much a viable option in a pinch. He gave Isolde and Guinevere a quick look to make sure they weren't at a loss then turned his attention back to the youma.
His attention however, was caught when a young man turned the corner onto the street where the battle was about to take place. "Oh dear." He muttered then darted in the direction of the civilian.

Getting back out as a Senshi after that strange mirror nightmare had not been as easy as Guinevere liked to pretend it was. She'd almost died, and she knew that, and that hung over her. But it wasn't like she had a choice, really. She had to bounce back. She had to be bouncy and cheery and happy, and make sure that everyone else on this fledgling team knew that they could do anything.
So here she was, with Isolda and Hania, ready to kick some Nega booty.
"Sense really doesn't enter into the equation, I don't think," she mused. She took a breath, on the edge of the roof.
"Alright, let's go," she said, and she launched herself off after Isolda, grinning almost maniacally as she aimed, heel-first, for a wing joint. She landed pretty well, she thought, and the thing howled as she and Isolda impacted, and it was with a broad grin that she bounced off and spun--and then she spotted the civilian.
"Oh, balls," she said, under her breath. "Sir, you're gonna want to clear yourself out right quick! It's not safe to be here!" She called, in his direction, and she hoped he both heard and listened.

Perrie blinked and froze in his tracks. In front of him were two girls in funny looking sailor outfits and a huge turtle-looking thing with wings that was howling into the night air. At least that's what he thought he saw in front of him. It could have been a hallucination, though he rarely got hallucinations from magic mushrooms. Mushrooms were a mellow high, he found, not like LSD. In fact, the last time he'd actually hallucinated had been the last time he'd dropped acid, months and months ago. And even then, it hadn't been anything like this. He couldn't help himself and burst out laughing. "Oh man, I gotta remember where I got this s**t! This is wild! Hi!!" he waved at the girl who was yelling at him. "I should what? Clear off? Naaaaaah, this is too good not to stick around for!" Stepping further out into the open, he grinned at the girls and monster and leaned against the wall of the building he had just come around. "Go ahead, carry on, I'll just watch from over here." Then he noticed the cat running toward him. "Awww, kitty! I hope you're real!!" The pink-haired young man leaned over and cooed at the cat, holding out his hand toward it. " Here kitty kitty kitty…"

Their sudden appearance did not make the youma happy. Isolda did what she could to damage his wings enough that, hopefully, he couldn't fly away on them. He looked tough enough without them having to deal with dive bombs over their heads.
Things were not quite going 100% their way though. When Guinevere called out to someone in the distance, the youma's attention shot down the street as well. Maybe it thought it might as well go for the weakest target first, rather than deal with two Senshi. It shook her off and she landed on the sidewalk with a little slide.
"Get him out of here Hania!" That seemed like their best bet, considering the Civilian was not taking them seriously. What was wrong with him? Wouldn't most sane people run away form a sight like this. She couldn't let the youma get away, or put the civilian in any more danger then he was already involved in.
Before the youma could get out of her range she called out her magic, kissing the tip of her index finger and firing. "Attract Beam!" The youma changed it's direction quickly and Isolda reluctantly winked in it's direction. No telling how effective her magic would be on it, or for how long. "Come at me you big lug! This way." Isolda waved her arms and skipped backwards a few steps.

] While he was glad that Guinevere tried to talk some sense into the civilian, judging by how his response had been laughter it was safe to say it didn't work very well. As he got closer he could smell something off about the man and could see that the human's eyes seemed to be dilated. Of course that's when he realized that familiar pull of the unawakened. "Well I can safely say I am real but I also suspect that you wont believe me at this point of time." He said as he stopped by the man, keeping between him and the fight. "Seeing how you look to be rather high at the moment." His tail flicked behind him as he looked between the man and fight going on.
Part of him wanted to do his job and awaken the new Senshi, another part of him wondered if it would be too dangerous to do so. Who knows how the man would react as it is to him talking, let alone how well it would go with him giving access to his power. His eyes darted over to Isolde when she spoke up and used her attack, worry lacing through him. "We need to get you out of here however, at the very least far enough away that you wont present a viable target."

Guinevere winced. It wasn't hard to recognize that the poor civilian was definitely not all home--though she didn't want to guess what specifically he was on, his reactions reminded her enough of people she'd known to be on drugs that her best assumption was that he wouldn't exactly be much help, whatever Hania was up to.
She was pretty sure her magic wouldn't do much against a youma except confuse it, or worse, she might make it obsess about killing her team. Bad, bad, bad plan.
So instead, while it was distracted, she delivered a hard kick to its side. "You gross lug, keep your mind on us! We're the danger here!"

The cat spoke to him, clear as day, and Perrie's jaw nearly hit the ground. Then he burst out laughing again. "Of course you talk! Nice kitty. Hahahaha, this is seriously some wicked s**t." His brow furrowed a little with worry, not over the monster or the danger he was apparently putting himself in, but over whether or not the mushrooms he'd done earlier in the evening had been soaked in LSD prior to being sold to him. He was beginning to feel that maybe he'd been slipped something much stronger than mushrooms. Regardless, Perrie reached out to let the cat smell his fingers. "Yeah, Mr Talking Kitty, I'm high as balls right now and don't really know if you're real or not, but I'm gonna pretend that you are," he told the cat. "You want me to come with you if I want to live?" The pink-haired young man snorted a laugh. "Yeah, sure, I'll come with you. I really don't wanna miss this fight, though, you know? Like it's not every day I hallucinate two sailor girls fighting a... uh... whatever the heck that thing is..." He straightened and stared dumbly at the battle, his smile gone. What if the girls got hurt? What if it was because of him? Hallucinations or not, he didn't want anything bad to happen. "Okay, kitty, I'll -- I'll go with you. Lead the way."

Isolda might have just realized that neither herself or Guinevere had particularly potent magic to be taking on a youma of this size. That just, wouldn't have to matter right now, hopefully. Hopefully with enough kicks and punches they could make it poof. At least they were both successfully distracting it from the civilian. She wasn't paying enough attention to him to realize he was on something. He probably just thought it'd be 'cool' or something to watch the fight. They might end up being popular online tomorrow for all she knew.
Once quick glance behind the youma showed Hania was now retreating with the civilian so she took the chance to back up a bit as well, ducking low to avoid a swing in her direction. She backed into a trash can and thinking quick on her feet picked it up and hurled it and it's contents at the youma's face. A few quips came to mind about her actions, but she wasn't exactly a quip-y fighter, so she kept them to herself in order to avoid the embarrassment.
"Got any ideas how we take it out?" She could only think of finding something else to throw at it. Even if they called for help, there was no guarantee anyone would arrive in time. Did she even want to call for help? Wasn't she would here to prove she could be useful for a change?

Hania's eyes darted back to Guinevere and Isolde, worry very clear in his eyes as they both tried to keep the youma on them and not on the compromised civilian. He was seriously wishing he could go help them fight the thing as neither of them had offensive magic but priorities must. That and they were getting better at taking youma on in hand to hand so he had to hope they could manage it quickly once the distraction was moved away.
He turned his attention back to the civilian in question as he let another peel of laughter and started to talk. The Mauvian leaned forwards to the offered hand and gave a few sniffs, half out of habit and half to see if he might pick up what the man was on. Some of the words though got a cat grin and a huff of reluctant laughter out of him as well. "Thank you, I promise that you are doing the right thing and that his isn't due to your drugs and I can prove it later if you want." He said then started to try and lead the man down the street to as safer spot. "Youma aren't always smart so you might still be able to watch from a distance with it forgetting about you at least?" The cat offered up then his hackles raised when the youma seemed to make a lunge in their direction before getting distracted by the girls.

Unfortunately for them, as soon as they had started to move away it drew the youma to them like a homing beacon and it started to run at them, intent on getting at the civilian and his starseed. Hania let out a panicked yowl and jumped between Perrie and the incoming youma, giving a deliberate flick of his tail so a bright pen landed next to the man. "Pick that up and say the first things that come to mine, I'll explain later!" He yelled out then shot his star laser at the youma in an attempt to slow it down. It would weaken him severely and he wasn't entirely sure he would be able to move for a few minutes after it but he wasn't going to let the man get hurt!

Everything happened almost too fast for Perrie to remark on. The monster -- a youma, the cat had called it (he'd heard the term in the news, of course, but he'd never seen one) was screaming at the two girls, then it turned and saw him and his blood went cold. then the thing started coming for him and the cat, and the cat flicked his tail and this thing that looked like a weird pen appeared out of nowhere and then the cat ordered him to pick it up, and still high as hell Perrie did as he was told. A sudden urge overtook him -- he had no idea where this popped into his head from, but he stepped back from the cat and the charging youma, held the weird pen-thing above his head, and yelled the first thing that came to mind. "PARSIFAL POWER, MAKE UP!" And then the strangest thing happened: a shower of bright orange and fuschia sparkles rained down, enveloping the stoned young man. And when they dissipated, he had transformed. His outfit was the same eye-searing orange and purply-fuschia as the pen was, weirdly archaic in style. What was more telling was that he felt different. No longer buzzing on mushrooms, and strangely... magical. He looked at his hands, then down as his bare feet, then his arms, clad in mismatched striped arm warmers. Reaching up, he felt the diadem on his head and the metal collar-thing around his neck. "I'm... I'm Parsifal?" he said querulously. This was new and strange and he wasn't high... and yet, it felt right. Suddenly Perrie -- Parsifal -- remembered that he and the cat were being charged at by a big freaky-looking youma! With a grin, the newly-minted senshi ticked off three times on his fingers, holding the idea of creating a distraction in his mind. "Eeny, Meeny, Miney, MO!" With a flash of orange light, there were suddenly four Parsifals standing in the street, the same cheeky grin on their faces. Then they moved , each in a different direction, to dance around the approaching youma, whooping and yelling and poking at it to get its attention. One of the Parsifals looked back at Hania. "Get the others! Let's pop this thing!"
