 The tournament is taking place in the Castle in Negaspace, in a large room that has been designated towards the event. It is very spacious and there is a ring where the participants will fight, as well as seats around it for viewers. You are greeted by General Aurostibite, standing off to the side to monitor!
The rules are simple: fight your opponent using whatever methods you have available to you - physical strength or magic - and whoever is left standing at the end is the winner! Aurostibite adds, in a tone of voice that doesn't quite indicate whether he's joking or not, to please try not to kill anyone.
OOC RULES:
- THIS FIRST BATTLE YOU WILL HAVE 96 HOURS (4 days) to complete because I am starting them early. The rest will be 72 hours. If you are unable to do so, or something happens that prevents things or slows you down, you can just roll the dice without adding in RP to determine the outcome. However, please do your best to RP out the battle, this option is only for those situations where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Dice rolling is mandatory! I know it can be frustrating but this keeps everything fair and even.
- Anyone is free to pop into a battle RP, they are open to spectators, whether you are participating in the tournament or not! Any Negaverse agent or Corrupt or Corrupt Cat is free to view the battles, regardless of whether or not they were in signups.

THE MECHANICS
Each person roll 1d20 in their first post! The person with the higher number is the first to attack!
Lieutenant / Basics - 20 HP / 1d8-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
Captain / Super - 30 HP / 1d10-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
General / Eternal - 40 HP / 1d12-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
( how it works: roll the dice - if you get a 4, subtract 2 = your attack is 2! and so on and so forth. If you get a 6, subtract 2 = your attack is 4! )
Roll dice -> RP out attack -> wait for opponent to attack back -> roll dice again until someone's HP is depleted first!
The person with HP remaining after someone gets to 0 is the winner!

Violane entered for her first fight in the tournament. She was antsy considering how last years went. Then again, she had been so new, so fresh to the negaverse, and she'd learn quite a bit in the past year even if she hadn't progressed through the ranks. It was only a matter of time though.
Perhaps her progress here will mark the beginning of her movement up through the ranks.
Of course, she needed to make a good impression though. To do that, she needed to focus on the fight and her opponent.

While Fettelite knew he rather grated on people's nerves at times, he wasn't about to let that stop him today! It was Big Sis Violane's first big fight in the tournament, and there was a chance that maybe they'd go up against one another. He really hoped they both got that far!
Of course, in proper Fettelite fashion, he was in the stands, watching his team mate and waving his pompoms around as best he could, hoping she could hear his cheerful... Cheer.
"WOOHOO!! GO VIOLANE!! YOU CAN DO IT, BIG SIS! I BELIEVE IN YOU! DO YOUR BEST AND KICK a** LIKE ONLY YOU CAN! WOOOO!!"

Geocronite still wasn't... too sure about all of this. But he had been told that he would have to participate so... He rolled his shoulders about as he entered the room, and luckily he was going to go against his fellow lieutenants. Though his opponent did have a fan at least, so she had more support than he did.
Though it didn't really matter to him if he won or not. He just had to participate and that was what he was going to do, and if he had to do it then he was going to try his best at it!

Right, it seemed like it was his turn to start. He thought about summoning his 'weapon' and while a drawing compass could be used for a good eye-stab, he really didn't want to go around permanently injuring any of his fellow agents. Best not to get off on the wrong foot. And he certainly didn't want any of his fellow agents to then go after him in revenge. He wasn't here to make any enemies.
So, he did what he did best and analyzed his opponent for a bit, and suddenly rushed toward the other agent, hoping to be able to get a punch in. He wasn't sure if it would hit, since the other would probably be able to dodge it, but he hoped it would connect.[20 HP]

Violane was a bit late taking her fighting stance and the other Lieutenant moved fast. His punch made contact with her hip as she attempted to dodge. Needless to say, it hurt, but not as bad as some of the hits she'd received by order members.
She grinned. "Not bad. Perhaps this will be fun!"
Her fighting style, still heavily influence by Cinnabar, meant the Lieutenant was fairly well rounded. The half-youma General had made sure Violane was capable of fighting with her legs as well, if not better than her hands, while Leucite focus on everything.
The Lieutenant moved to grab hold of Geocronite's shoulders and pushed down while a knee came up to try and connect with his head.
Attack: 7-2= 5HP: 20-5= 15 (I am an idiot and made a new post instead of just editing the one above. Fail me! crying So....roll is in the post above)

Geo suddenly felt himself being grabbed and forced down, emaning that something was probably coming up at him, he was only able to pull back a bit, but couldn't totally dodge the knee that had been aimed for him as it went and hit his left shoulder.
It wasn't that hard, surprisingly, but it was definitely going to be bruised for a bit after this. For his part, Geo took one of the arms that was holding him, and pushed at it from the outside, trying to make it bend the wrong way so that he would be let go.[15 HP]

Violane felt her arm being grabbed and the wrenching that came with it was a familiar ploy used to get few from another's grasp. Familiar or not, it worked. As her arm was wrenched, Violane was forced to relinquish her opponent. Wanting to continue to utilized their close proximity, the white haired lieutenant grabbed hold of the others forearm, her other hand coming round as she twisted in an attempt to hoist the male over her. Her smaller size helped make it a bit easier to try and get under him but out was a maneuver she want 100% with yet. Attack: 5-2= 3
HP: 15-3= 12

The jab had worked, but only for a little bit. It seemed that the other lieutenant had recovered quickly and she had grabbed him, going a bit underneath him, and trying to hoist him over. It worked, and he felt himself going down. He hit the floor, a bit hard, but luckily didn't land on something awful like his head.
However, he decided to try to take advantage of the situation, and while on the ground and still being held by one of the lieutenants arms, he moved forward, trying to pull her down a bit, while also maneuvering so that one of his legs would hit hers as she was pulled forward, and he hoped to get her off-balance.[12 HP]

The tug on her arm kept her in place long enough for Geo's leg to knock her off-kilter. A curse issued from her as she toppled forward and just managed to keep herself from smacking her face off of the floor with a braced arm. That would have been terribly painful and resulted in first blood drawn and Violane was dead determined that it wasn't her blood drawn first.
She rolled onto her back so she was in a better position to defend herself if need be as she scrambled back up to her feet. In the process, she aired a kick in Geo's direction as a means to try and keep him down and keep him away from her until she gained her footing again.
This 'fight' was looking more like a bar room brawl. At least that's what Violane imagined.

Her strategy worked, and Geo was unable to even get a counterattack in as he dodged the leg that had been thrown out at him. At this point he wondered if the fight was supposed to be this embarrassing. It was like 2 people having a wrestling match on the floor, with some self-defense moves. Maybe they should just try to start tackling each other? He scrambled up, hoping to get on his feet and ready to deal with whatever else she threw at him next. [9 HP]

This fight was ridiculous. Even though the two Lts. seemed to be evenly matched little was being done to progress towards the end of the fight. A brawl would have had better results at this point. It frustrated Violane and it showed.
In a hasty attempt to do some damage, the Lt. struck out at Geo with a fist but ended up barely even grazing her opponent.
Frustration built.[HP: 6]

At some point Geo wondered if there was some smoke in the room or if he was really just this terrible at throwing a punch. The other lieutenant barely missed him, and when he went to send out his own fist, it was like he had mixed up the air beside her head as her head.

"This is getting ridiculous." She said as she practically stared at the other Lt. at his obvious miss. "It's like we've never fought before in our lives, and I can promise you, I've got quite a few fights underneath my belt. So stop goofing off here and take this seriously." Time to start anew. A chance for both to reset and go at each other again. [HP:6]
