Birthdays only came but once a year and Alrik's just so happened to be a few weeks after his other favorite holiday, Christmas. Both meant presents, both meant attention and both meant the day got to be almost all about him.
With that in mind, he'd spent most of his morning with his older sister, so the latter part of the day was going to be dedicated to the other perfect woman in his life: Cassadega Bright.
She'd been more than agreeable to spending the afternoon with him, which had delighted him to no end. Her schedule was arguably much busier than his own, so for a gal of that caliber to take time out of her day for him...
Well, it just made him like her even more.
With no ride (guess hoping for a car was another pipe dream, thanks Mom and Dad), he took the bus to the closest stop and walked the rest of the way to her abode, enjoying all the discord and skype messages of happy birthday!! from all of his other guildmates. The moment he arrived on her doorstep, however, the phone was quickly pocketed away and one hand brushed through his hair while the other briefly rapped on her door.
"Cass! Your date for the day is here!"

It didn't take her long to answer the door once he knocked. When she opened it, Alrik would be greeted to his girlfriend with her long green locks tossed into curls and an outfit clearly chosen for a date night.
"Hey birthday boy," she purred, grinning with her teeth catching her bottom lip where the ring sat before she slid arms over his shoulders and pulled him down those few inches separating them in height for a kiss.
"Been wondering when I'd get to see you cutie," she cooed, tugging him into the townhouse so they could shut the door and she could push him back against the door frame for another, more passionate kiss.
The dark lipstick she'd worn to pair with the equally dark outfit smudged against his mouth but she looked happy to see it with how she licked her lips.
"Now, what do you want to do to celebrate birthday boy?" She had to drag her gaze up from his mouth to his green eyes before stating, "Whole night is yours y'know."

Hot damn.
No matter how many times he came over to her house, seeing Cassadega Bright always took his breath away. Even on his birthday - especially on his birthday - she looked hotter than hot and had no issue showing him.
Hands immediately moved out to catch her hips, eyes and mouth widening as she pulled him down for a kiss. If she were a Pokemon, she'd start off with a basic Stun attack because even her kisses were overwhelming in a good way.
"I...."
It was hard to think, considering her body was drawing even closer to his and the closer it got, the more apparent his thoughts were on how exactly they should spend the evening. "I'm free to do whatever? Did you have some place you like to go to party?"
Though the couch or bedroom would work fine too.

Cass appreciated the way Alrik looked at her and she liked the way his body responded to hers. As far as cute little boyfriends went, her Ali bear was the best.
"Mm, but Ali it's your birthday. I'm just here to make it a good one," Cass purred, head dipping to press those darkly colored lips against his throat. The girl had gotten ready for a night out, if that's what he wanted, but she didn't mind a night in either.
When it boiled down to it, it was go out to be shown off or stay in for playtime and she liked both options equally.
"Maybe we should go get food, then decide if you're still up for a night out or if you wanna spend the rest of the night in." Her fingers crawled up his chest in a one two succession. Lips parted and her teeth scraped gently against his throat. "That way I didn't get all dolled up for nothing, but you still keep me aaaaall to yourself."

Taking a classy girl out like Cass meant forgoing his desire for pizza or cheese fries - granted, he knew she'd agree if he asked but imagining someone so dolled up, leaning over to avoid melted, gooey cheese from hitting her outfit....
Well, she deserved better.
"Food sounds good," he murmured softly, lifting his chin as he felt her fingers and lips move in tandem at her suggestion. He could think of a few other things he'd rather be doing at that very moment, so food was probably the safest option - at least if they wanted a longer evening together.
"Let me take you out, Cassie, dinner's on me," he purred as one hand moved up to tangle with hers, slipping finger between finger as his hand enclosed over hers. He needed to get better control of himself if he was going to keep decent conversation going, "You look too cute to take to a diner - there a special place you wanna go? Maybe a booth we can snuggle in, somewhere?"

Ali was being so good and she delighted in being able to see how she effected him.
"Mmm, should I be taking you out? You're the birthday boy after all," she purred, leaving one more kiss against his throat before she pulled off and left some breathing room between them. She was going to need to touch up her lipstick at this rate.
"You know, I think I know the perfect place. Low lighting, corner booths perfect for snuggling," her voice dropped into something more sultry, "and other things."
It didn't take much to deduce what she was implying.
"Lemme just get my jacket, unless the birthday boy wants to spend more time kissing first."

Eyebrows arched and eyes widened at the implication behind her other things comment, the grip on the shorter girl tightening on instinct. Thoughts about food took a backseat, especially considering the various ways she'd come up with celebrating Christmas together - God only knew what she had in store for her favorite fellas on their birthdays.
"Oh, man."
Hands released her a little too quickly, the teenager almost urgently insistent for her to retrieve the coat she'd mentioned. "Kissing - we can kiss on the way. Get your jacket, babe, or I don't think we'll be able to make it out of here otherwise, with promises like that."
While his birthday had been fantastic thus far, Alrik Rey had a feeling that it was only going to get better from there.

When she laughed, it was brightly, her head shaking as she sauntered off to collect her jacket from the hall closet. Alrik's puppy like enthusiasm was endearing and Cass had a pretty good idea of how the evening was going to go based on his reactions alone.
"Come on, you promised me a date babe." She reminded, booping his nose before she grabbed his hand and tugged him along with her when she made to exit her home.
His hand was only let go so that she could lock up behind them and then she was sidling beside him with her arm around his waist. "Lots of kisses," she promised, stretching to peck his cheek before focusing on getting to their place of meal choice.
Otherwise, they'd just end up back inside and where was the fun in that.
