Noemi gripped her trident super tight as they were set up in the tournament. She didn't know who she was fighting but that was okay right? It was all for fun and stuff.
P...Plus Milo was back now, so even if she failed, she could cheer the sun hunter on! She waited until her opponent came, blinking as the girl had much bluer hair then she had expected.
"H...Hello!" The girl waved before taking a deep breath. Soon enough she was swinging her trident at the other woman.

Arorangi was holding up a big sign. It read GO LYDIA GO in bright red letters. Beneath it, in smaller letters, were the words GO NOEMI GO in blue, because even if he wanted Lydia to win, he still thought Noemi should do well too.

Freshly promoted, and Lydia really had no idea what she was doing or why she was doing it. A nervous look was given to the area surrounding her, and she was chewing on her bottom lip hard enough that, if she didn't have a shield to protect herself, she would have surely drawn blood. OH! Aro was there! What a wonderful man. She gave him an endearing look, and blew him a quick kiss, though even with his presence in the background lending support, she still felt incredibly nervous. But...at least the girl standing across from her on the field seemed nice? She was actually quite cute, really, and Lydia offered her a bright smile at the greeting, holding up a hand to wiggle fingers in return. "Hi!" She said, "I uh....I've never done anything like this before." She thought she aught to explain, "So I'm very sorry if I do something wrong." Summoning her weapon, and still startled by how it had changed since she had been promoted, Lydia let out a startled yelp when the other girl swung her trident, and barely avoided being knocked on the ground. "Oh, good one!" She straightened. "I really love your weapon, it's beautiful." She added. And then, since she figured it was probably her turn to do something, she sort of flailed her whip around a little and hoped for the best. HP: 43 Damage: 5

Oliver showed up shortly after the match begun, his own quiet presence absolutely dwarfed by Aro's enthusiasm. Had either of the girls made eye contact, they would get a shy smile and a wave.

"That...That's okay!" Noemi smiled shyly at the other girl. "I really like your hair! It's very colorful!"
She made a small EEP! sound at the crack of the whip, and did her best to use her trident as a defense against it, though it hit her shield quite well.
"That's an interesting weapon!" The girl shook her head, "I've...I've never seen a whip!" At the sight of Aro and Oliver though, Noemi weakly waved to both of them and blushed at the small red sign from Aro. That was such a sweet gesture!
It really made her feel bad for jabbing at the girl again and she did her best to aim for....not soft parts.

"Oh! Thank you! I try to colour it often, keep it fresh, and bright! I love bright!" She smiled wider, feeling slightly more comfortable now that she was talking to Noemi, and instantly liking the other woman quite a lot, finding the shy sweetness quite endearing. She than let out a light laugh. "This is Rorric," She waved the whip around a bit, it's long tails touching the ground. "He is the absolute best weapon I could have ever asked for!" In her head, the fire bird preened and whistled out a cheerful tune, but than reminded Lydia, gently, that she was there to fight, and not just to make friends. Though there was definitely nothing wrong with doing both! However, Lydia was incredibly inept when it came to the former. Actually, she wasn't great at the latter, either, though Noemi seemed like the type of person who was easy to make friends with. When the other woman struck at Lydia again, the death intermediate tried to side step away, and managed to tangle up her feet in her own weapons tails. Down she went. HP: 36 Damage: 0

"I met a girl...she had galaxy hair! I really love blue, it's my favorite color!" Noemi eep'd again as Lydia fell over and quickly came over to the girl to help her up before attacking again. There was no reason for her to attack someone while they were down!
"M..My weapon is Melusine! She...well she was a mermaid at some point." She nodded, "It's nice to meet you Rorric." the huntress stepped back, waiting for Lydia to get her foot bearings again.
"Have...Have you been on the island...long?" She absently poked the girl though, feeling bad for hitting her so hard earlier. Especially since they were talking so nicely!

Lydia was just beaming from ear to ear at this point. "Thank you so much! I do so love blue as well." She giggled, reaching up to toy with one end of a long blue curl before letting it drop. "Ohhhh, galaxy hair? How wonderful!" She commented. "I think I have seen her around before, but I have never spoken to her." She took a pause to think about it, obviously not taking this fight very seriously at all as she pondered mid "battle". "There are just so many hunters with such pretty displays of colour on their heads now, I guess it's hard to know for certain." She laughed again. Hauled back to her feet by the kind girl, who didn't even laugh when Lydia tripped and fell, she gave Noemi a grateful smile. "Thank you. And Rorric says thank you as well! He is a fire bird, and is always so very kind to me." Okay, back to it! Noemi gave Lydia a prod, and this time she managed to side step without flopping to the ground in a heap. Lifting her whip she swung it cross ways through the air towards Noemi, though she still had very little idea how to wield it properly without hitting herself somehow as well. HP: 32 Damage: 8

Seren decided to wander down to the field where she could see one of the tourney battles going on. She hadn't looked who was fighting right now, but when she spotted it, she had decided to go watch. The flash of blue hair had caught her eye, too, because well... She liked blue hair, for reasons. When she could see who was there, clearly, she grinned and called out "YOU CAN DO IT, NOEMI! KICK HER a** LIKE YOU KICKED MINE." She paused, then added "NO OFFENSE, LADY WITH THE AWESOME BLUE HAIR." She settled back to watch, eyes eager and curious.

Oliver was perhaps lulled into complacency by the gentle girls fighting the most shy and friendly fight he had ever seen, so he was visibly startled by Seren's loud cheer. And then jumped when Milo appeared, this time bumping Aro with a squeak. How could anyone have so much loud enthusiasm inside them all at one time?

[ "I...I like when weapons are really kind! I've...I've met only...only one scary one though so..." Noemi nodded her head vigourously and startled when she heard Seren's voice in the distance. "O...Oh! There she is!!" Noemi waved to her and gripped her trident.
Lydia's whip cracked against her shield and she scrambled, forgetting she was fighting still.
She ran around the girl, taking another deep breath even if she felt the hit of the whip against her fear shield. After all, that was a really hard hit.
It wasn't till she heard Milo's voice that the girl attacked again, her swing mimicking a lot like the Nagita that Milo used....except Noemi's trident. It connected solidly.
Once it had though, her face immediately blew up in a deep crimson color. "M...Milooooooooooooo."

“ There are mean weapons?” Lydia gasped, a hand going up to clutch at her chest, her features frought with disbelief and dismay. Of course, she knew she should have known better. Though she’d only encountered the friendly sort, student and weapon both, there were bound to be some not so nice ones as well. She swallowed back her disappointment, and might have attacked again, except that she was momentarily distracted by the sudden cheers from the sideline. “Oh! She and her hair are both very pretty.” Lydia nodded, and gave Seren a wave from where she stood, before her gaze drifted towards a man she didn’t recognize, but who’s enthusiasm earned him a giggle. ...Which was cut off fairly abruptly by a sweeping and solid blow from Noemi’s trident. Lydia just smiled at her opponent, though. It’s what she deserved for not paying attention! “Is that your boyfriend?” She asked, with a wide grin. “Mine’s the incredibly handsome one with the sign and the big, amazing muscles.” Was she bragging? Possibly. Mostly she just always introduced Aro like that because it was truly how she felt about him and all of his magnificent glory. In fact, just thinking about how great he was and how sweet it was that he came to show his support to both her and Noemi made Lydia want to try a little harder, and she cracked her whip with a little extra fervour. Too much extra. She obviously wasn’t at all used to her new strength yet, and let out a strangled noise followed by “I’m sorry!” HP: 24 Damage: 13

Seren saw Oliver, and moved over to his side, giving him a side-arm hug. "Here to cheer the ladies on? You team Noemi or team lady with the pretty blue hair that I don't know? Or both? I have had to be team both for Kai and Sonja!" She gave her friend a bright smile, then added "We need to hang out more! I don't think we have hung out in a few months! I wanna hear how your holidays were... But obviously, after the battle, cause... Well. Tourney!" She turned back and gave another cheer for both of the sparers, now, since she didn't know them at all but they seemed to be having an interesting time of it.
