Seren found a spot to watch from, and called out "KICK THEIR a**, GREEN." She had no idea who the opponent was, and thus was not in any kind of conflict over who she was going to cheer for. She grinned wide, and leaned back on her heals some, eyes glittering a little as she watched them get set up.

Matt was typing away on this cell phone, an almost familiar smirk playing on his lips before looking up. Shiitt…. For A moment he had almost forgotten he was participating in a tournament again. Last time he attempted an unfamiliar hunter easily defeated him, and the time before that… didn't go any better. “Yea… sorry about that.” Giving an apologetic look towards the unfamiliar opponent he summoned his weapon.

Seren was given a thumbs up before Nash turned back to his opponent - whose name he thought he remembered as Mathias or something along those lines.

Kade was not going to be outdone. Nor was he going to let this be anything less than memorable for everyone involved. From somewhere on the island the six-foot-two Sun trainee had found a cheerleader costume complete with thigh-high socks and pom-poms. The pigtails were not quite the baby-style that most sexy young ladies used because he was a man after all, but the intent was definitely there. "Murder him, darling!" One black-and-white pom was waved high in the air as Kade Paqari grinned in all his masculine, confident, a*****e glory.

“Alright.” Not hesitating a moment longer Matt lunged forward to close the space between them, spear ready. His phone buzzed just as as the edge gazed along a shoulder. At least he was off to his usual promising start. DMG: 1 HP: 50/50

It took Nash a moment to realize where the shout was coming from, although the darling gave it away. He twisted around to look and almost tripped over his own whip at Kade's outfit, Matt's lance grazing his shoulder and pushing him back a few steps.
{ Focusssss! } Acheri rattled in his mind, sounding irritated. Nash flipped Kade the bird, because any other sort of thing he wanted to say or do was going to have to wait until the fight was over. He pivoted back to Matt, curling the whip around his hand and snapping it outwards towards him, aimed in the direction of his legs.
Maybe now that he'd been promoted things would go better.

Before Matt could process the thought of what had wrapped around his ankle he found himself looking up at the sky as a familiar pain shot up his back. There was a brief moment of laughter from Kasi as she made some comment about it being familiar for him in between the giggles. Getting to his feet he dusted himself off a bit not even making a half hazard swing at November. DMG: pfft HP: 41/50

Seren grinned, seeing the battle going on, and she called out "YOU CAN DO IT, NASH! YOU GOT THE SKILLS, GREEN." She was always happy to yell and cheer for the people she liked, and Nash was definitely thumbs up in her book. She glanced at the guy in the cheerleading outfit, a bemused look on her face, then refocused.

Dottie showed up late, but only because she had gotten distracted by so many of the other matches along the way. She was there, of course, to lend support to Nash, not that she would have ever said so out loud. Besides, it appeared that some of his more....flamboyant, friends, had come to cheer him on anyways. Well, that was fine by her. If he ever happened to glance her way, she'd just stick her tongue out at him and flip him the bird, much like he had done to her earlier, and offer a snarky little smirk. He knew how she actually felt.

Nash felt a pulse of immediate satisfaction as the whip connected, Acheri rattling noisily with a rush of pleasure inside of his head. The metal segments of the weapon clanked together as they were yanked back, Nash reeling them back in, leaping back just in time to avoid Matt's next swing.
In the audience, he could hear Kade's whoop of a cheer, then Seren's voice calling next, and then he possibly thought he saw a flash of neon pink that indicated Dottie was there as well, but Nash didn't quite get a chance to look fully. He swung the whip around again, twisting sideways, Acheri hissing through his thoughts.
It wasn't the best hit he could have made, but it was still a glancing blow. Nash finally caught sight of Dottie and grinned at her.
"Nice weapon," he said to Matt, in an entirely sincere voice.

This was definitely not his round as the whip snapped a glancing blow across his cheek, so far he wasn't doing a spectacular job. { At least this will be short yes?} The familiar voice snorted in return. Whistling to himself as he pressed a hand to his cheek Matt swung wildly as if giving the impression he wasn't even trying. “Thanks, it's pretty for the most part. You must be a popular guy.” He hadn't missed the ongoing cheers from the crowd for him. DMG: 1 HP: 39/50
