Being a big city girl, a temporary stay in Akaito was supposed to remain as that, temporary. With a busy life as a detective, Kiko hasn't had the time to romanticize finding "the one" since she was a little girl born and raised in the very hometown known for love and soul mates. Once she graduated high school, Kiko had left to enter the police academy. It was shortly after that when she became a detective in Tokyo, where a large hub of criminal activity reigned over. While still being a younger member of the detective force, Kiko has dedicated her entire being to following in her deceased father's footsteps. The only thing that trumps her strong career goals is an ailing mother in need of a care-giver until she heals. Taking a break from work to help out her mother for a short time was her only plan. The last thing she suspected was to find her soul mate, better yet one with a charismatic yet mysterious glow to him that heavily contrasts her honest lifestyle.
Outside of work, Kiko is known as being a level-headed and fun-loving friend to most, though she often dons the responsible roles when necessary. Being the eldest of three, she's always been one to consider family as a priority beyond her own happiness. Her nickname by family is Kiki, and while she finds it annoyingly endearing, she allows those closest to her to call her by such a name, but such a list is limited to a small amount of friends in her hometown.

Kiko's dual nature may seem off-putting at first to most, but this has to do to the seriousness she takes her job. On one hand, there's Work Kiko, a woman with little time and patience for incompetence. She's sharp in analyzing situations and even sharper with her tongue. She often takes the role of "bad cop" when with her partner, and moreso uses threats of violence against known perpetrators. Most of her colleagues ind her disagreeable and difficult to work with, the exception being her partner. Because of this cold demeanor pairing her ice blue eyes, Kiko is often called the "ice detective" by criminals and cops alike.
Outside of work, however, is a very different woman. More gentle, yet just as graceful as ever, Kiko can make friends with many who need a shoulder to cry on. She works hard to help those closest to her. Community service and family are her main priorities, and those honest ideals shine brightest when off-duty. Her tactful honesty is what many come to know her for, seeing as how she will often help others with solving their own problems. In social gatherings, a gentle smile can usually be seen adorned on her face, but it never strained for too long, as if she always remained on alert and protective of her friends.
With unwavering ideals and a headstrong personality, most would find Kiko to be a perfectionist. She admires honesty over tact, and tact over bravery. While she wold often like to believe in the best of people, when at work she has to believe otherwise for the sake of public safety. When it comes to romance, Kiko is considered a hardened shell. She never seems to put her heart on her sleeve for anyone, but perhaps finding "the one" can prove to be a character change for this behavior.
