Another day, another empty-feeling patrol. When it came down to it, Cor Caroli felt like he did more spacing out and trying to focus his emotions than actual patrolling for any Chaos force in particular. Every time he saw an argument to give up being a member of Order, he thought he saw another equally strong argument to stay. It was hard to make a decision and stick with it, and that only made him even more anxious. Sitting on a bench in one of Destiny City's parks, he thought he felt something big in the distance. Not as big as, say, a General Sovereign, but something big and dark nonetheless. A Corrupt Senshi, maybe? Cor Caroli exhaled heavily, shook his head, and got up to approach the Chaos signature. It was probably going to seek him out, anyway. He might as well just march onward. He could be force-corrupted, have his starseed pulled, or any number of things, but he felt flatly okay with any possible outcome. It registered as worrying in some portion of his mind.

The Chaotic signature in the distance was a charismatic man with hair like wine, sauntering his merry way along the sidewalk. Newly minted as an Eternal thanks to his lovely little Lace, Carnelian relished the increased power he felt available at his fingertips. Boot heels clicked on concrete and while he could easily sense the blistering and squeaky-clean aura in the distance, he made no aggressive or brash moves towards it. Instead, the signature came to him. Soon enough, the signature's owner appeared in the distance - a harried young man with hair like a raven. Lovely, really. Carnelian could appreciate a pretty face. "Good evening~ Did you come all the way here to see me? To whom do I owe the pleasure~? And believe me, it is a pleasure." The eternal gave his Order counter part a chivalrous bow, just for the sake of it. He wasn't a fighter by any means, though he wondered, if this young man decided to get aggressive, would teleportation be easier now?

Whoa nelly. Cor Caroli wasn't really expecting a tall(ish?) drink of handsome there. Then again, he wasn't expecting much of anything. He couldn't help but smile a bit awkwardly as the man in front of him oozed with charm. "Heh, I guess you could say that," he said, scratching the back of his head. "I figured there wouldn't be any harm in seeing what was on the other side. Not any harm that I'd be able to care about, anyway." That probably sounded infinitely darker than he actually meant it. Oops. At any rate, he continued. "I'm Cor Caroli, Senshi of Will. What about you?" This guy seemed peaceable enough for the time being. If they didn't open up with immediate murder, that was always a nice change of pace.

A velvety laugh was the response to Cor Caroli's introduction. Since no hand was extended, Carnelian extended his instead. It would behoove the Negaverse (and the corrupted senshi himself) to be on his best behavior. One never knew when a senshi, even at a rank lower than himself, would lose their temper and start firing laser beams or throwing punches. "Carnelian, Senshi of Pain. But don't let that frighten you. I assure you, Cor Caroli, that I don't punch first. Only in self-defense. I'm simply not all that interested in bloodshed." It was the honest truth, no matter how suspicious the corrupted senshi might've looked in that moment. His record with the Negaverse would show a minimal and sparse violent history with the opposition. The White Moon senshi's interest in seeing what was on the other side earned a smile from the redhead. "I do hope you like what you see? Are you interested in making some... changes to your life, Cor Caroli? Can't say I'd blame you."

Cor Caroli stared at the offered hand for a moment. This was probably some kind of trap to drain him upon accepting the handshake, but really, what did he have to lose? (Obviously, he wasn't being objective, but the point was still there.) So, he completed Carnelian's handshake with a proper amount of firmness. "Good to hear. It's nice to see someone who doesn't open up a can of instant murder every time they see a white fuku." The smile from the Corrupt made him return that as well, a bit more genuinely than his nervous one from earlier. "Well! Like I said, the lack of instant murder is a plus." He kind of dodged the question of whether he liked what he saw, because straight-up admitting a Corrupt was hot was probably a slippery slope to Dangerville. Not that he wasn't kind of already on that slippery slope. His answer to the question Carnelian posed came out more quickly than he expected. "Changes? Yeah. Let's just round up and make that a yes. Things kind of are..." Something clicked into place in his head, and his tone changed dramatically. "Y'know what? They suck over here! One of my friends got totally wrecked by one of your guys. I think he's still in the hospital. Honestly, I'm not too happy with the state of affairs. I'm seeing less and less point of wearing white every day. It's too easy to kill us. I'm shifting into survival mode, I guess." He sucked in a breath, then exhaled heavily. "Uh, sorry. Kinda heavy, I know."

Cor Caroli would find no energy draining would take place during the handshake. Indeed, it was a simple handshake and nothing more. "I'm not big on murder myself, so... I think we both got fairly lucky tonight." The White Moon Senshi's displeasure at the disorganization and danger present on his side (which was ironic, considering they called themselves Order) was refreshing. Carnelian tried not to look incredibly happy by this admission and instead shifting his weight contrapposto. "I always thought everyone was worth more alive than dead - or in the hospital. What's the point, honestly?" With a shrug, the corrupted senshi could certainly see Cor's point. "Killing everyone is too slash-and-burn for my tastes. I will say, however, that there certainly are quite a few perks on this side as opposed to the other." Hand on his chest, Carnelian leaned forward towards his White Moon counterpart (perhaps showing off some of that chest as an enticement, but who was to say for certain). "The teleportation is probably my favorite perk by far. Just imagine... blinking from one point to another whenever you like. Sure, it takes some energy to do, but who many others can say they can perform such a feat? Not the White Moon, that's for certain. And, the added benefit of rebirth if you choose to change sides. Wipe the slate clean, tabula rasa~"

Cor Caroli nodded when Carnelian expressed a dislike for violence and murder. That was good to hear. "I guess the question is, then, if you're not killing all of us, what are you going to do? Are you just happy to get as many of us on your side as possible, and drain the others a bit?" That seemed a bit more reasonable that killing 'em all, but he knew that that alone would make some Order folks uneasy. Hoo boy, this guy was one compelling seducer. Cor's eyes flicked down to Carnelian's chest for just a moment before resuming eye contact. "Teleportation does sound pretty handy. But you know, maybe you ought to be careful who you advertise the rebirth thing to. Some people might freak out upon hearing they're giving up their memories. As for me, well... I don't know. Part of me would be glad to wipe the slate clean if I could be in the right place, but there's those tricky little attachments, you know?"
