Manokan Caseless Rounds
The rounds and their comparitive energies are listed blow. The standard rifle rounds have their energies measured at which point they are at 3500, 1800, 1000, and 500 joules respectively, to be equivalent to rifle, intermediate cartridges, large pistol and pistol rounds. This equates to roughly 7.62mm NATO, 5.56mm .357 magnum and 9mm levels of energy, and correspondingly power. For the large rifles rounds, such as the .50 caliber and 15.5mm, 7.62mm NATO energies are compared, and for the 15.5mm the range which it still has the standard energy of the .50 caliber round at the muzzle. At 2,475 yards, or 1.4 miles, the 15.5mm is still hitting as hard as the .50 caliber round at the muzzle, allowing it to easily penetrate through armor.

Supersonic velocities determine practical ranges, along with bullet drop, as rounds simply cannot travel out to extremely long ranges easily, although they are much more usable at high altitudes. As the rounds move through the sound barrier, they are disrupted, causing them to destabilize in flight. Past this range, the rounds are also slower, causing significantly greater bullet drop. Practical ranges are determined less by energy, but this shows how much energy each round still has correspondingly.
