The Raptors of Aselra are the most common of the creatures to be tamed and used as familiars of the many of the guilds.
Mountain Raptors are large scavengers found on and around the larger mountain ranges of Aselra. They are generally non aggressive unless angered. These non venomous raptors are the size of a full grown horse and main weapon of choice are their massive claws.
Domesticating these large reptiles is done by raising them from an egg. Domesticated Mountain Raptors are said to be very protective over their human families. They can be used as companions, guard beasts, mounts, and to pull carts.
