Painting - From finger paints to a brush, being creative with paints has been Luca's passion since he was a boy. He is capable of expressing himself through all mediums, but to him, nothing matches the majesty of colors on a canvas. While his talent hasn't been recognized in any competition yet, reinforcement from his mother keeps him engaged, and it is the greatest reward of all for her to tell him he did a wonderful job. In fact, he even has his own secluded atelier in his home, and it is where he can be found most of the day. Of course, it is stocked with the best of the best of paints and supplies, as mama dearest only wants the best for her son.

Podcasting - On the off chance he is taking a break from his creative side, Luca appears as a guest speaker on a podcast called Brushstroke. It is an amateur, biweekly talk show where artists come together to talk of art history and its different mediums, promote their shows, and provide information on the various museums in Destiny City. Luca, in particular, provides short vignettes about famous artists of the past and bits of trivia that listeners may fine interesting. He also interviews artists from time to time as a fill-in to any speakers who might not be able to make it for a week.

Virtues:

Sweet - Within Luca's core beats a heart presumably of pure sugar. He regards everyone with a pleasant kindness that seems to radiate off him in droves; especially when in the company of those he loves. It is rare for him to even raise his voice, and it remains at an even timbre akin to a light whisper. Luca believes wholeheartedly in challenging negativity with goodness, and has dedicated himself to being a vessel promoting good. While he may not have the overarching power to dominate a world full of doom and gloom, at least he can become a beacon in the darkness to those who have been hurt by it.

Friendly - Luca doesn't desire enemies. Crossing another goes against his creed, so he regards anyone as a friend even when another may see him as the darkest shadow in their lives. He doesn't believe anyone is born inherently evil, and it is simply trauma from living that pushes a person down an undesirable path. However, if shown just a bit of courtesy and kindness, a person may be pulled back to the light. Luca has garnered a hearty social circle as a result of this part of his personality, and even when another person may not be acquainted with him, many still know him by face and/or name.

Flaws:

Naive - Unfortunately, Luca's views of the world are based on idealistic fantasies. His mother has coddled him since he was a boy, and her overprotective nature fed into a mind that had yet to experience the world. Despite everything he's seen and been told of life, Luca only knows one facet of it, and it continues to hold him back. His naivety is evident in a number of matters: he can't do things for himself without relying on others, he has zero knowledge of important life tasks (filing taxes, job interviews, etc), and he tends to think childishly toward rather serious, controversial topics.

Sensitive - On the rare chance Luca does offend someone, especially if they lash out at him, he's known to take it hard. He is sensitive to just about any firm rebuke; while he won't descend into a full-on sobbing mess unless pushed to his limits, Luca does get teary-eyed once he senses a hint of anger directed at him. And while he is quick to trade apologies with a person and let bygones be bygones, he dissolves into a mopey blob for a few days afterward as he doesn't learn from his mistakes. Instead, he glances over his fault, and doesn't think of it again.
